I wrote tonnes of notes. Gonna try all your methods and tips. Thank-you very much for taking the time to do this video. You are a good teacher. Very clear and no rambling.
Great ideas! I make my own stencils using the thick plastic covers on notebooks. Using the nail scissors is so smart- that will make the cuts so much nicer! thank you!
Although the video is 3 years old, but man it really a wealth of information, thanking so much for such a extensive research and sharing it selflessness. thank again from Pakistan 🌺
It’s a wise RUclips tutorial maker who gives the viewers the opportunity to create without extra expenses. Thank you. I’ll be watching out for your videos
The purple was put where you want your stenciled circle to stay attached. So ya, mistakes are easy to make.😊 I do like the simplified sunflower. I rarely use stencils but would like to make some simple ones on acetate. Good video.❤
It's funny..... the other day I was thinking "why don't more art journal vloggers show how to do things from the beginning" and then I came across your channel. Thanks for explaining clearly and easily as well as how to do things on a budget. 👌
Thanks for this new video. I recently went back and watched your older stencil making videos. You are so creative and inspiring. Have a blessed day on purpose. 😊
Thanks for all the ideas and tips. I recently bought a glue gun and making stencils seems like a good project. You make these ideas simple and accessible. Thanks for your time and effort.
Thank you for this awesome video...I'm kinda new to this crafting world and this is by the far the most useful and informative video I have come across for where I'm at in my little art journey. I was getting overwhelmed thinking I had to purchase all these stencils for my art projects.. can't wait to give these a go... You did a great job explaining and demonstrating how to do these.. so fun.
Thank you so much for making it so easy and affordable to everyone (especially the "pensioners" 😜💃), as stencils are very expensive!! You are so sweet for sharing this and tonight I'm not going to sleep but doing stencils. Xxx
Yes thank you for sharing your creativity. It is new to me. I havr been an Artist over 40 years. I have slowed down. Thank you for leading us foward. In Jesus name.
You are so DARLING! I love your FUN personality and sense of humor. I laugh everytime you say, "I really don't care". When we both make the 'LOONEY BIN', I hope to SEE you! Thank you NOIT, it's always wonderful spending time with you and I enjoy all the tips/tricks you share with us. ~Ana xo
I also make my own stencils out of paper. With the shop stencils you don’t find things you like. Most of my stencils are also die cuts that I have done. Thanks for your ideas I love it
I take my hat off to you!! I will have a go at this, although I don't think I will have as much patience as you!! I love all your stencils. Amazing to work all of that out! Thank you for sharing these great ideas.🙏❤️🌸
Thank you for the technique of just moving the acetate a little . It seems so logical but i never thought of it and it helps sooooo much. T am very grateful !
Thank you for sharing your ideas. I really enjoy your videos. I also enjoy the fact that you recycle a use things that you already have. You keep iow cost - no cost. I love to write and have always enjoyed journalling but not to the point of junk journalling etc. I have found a new hobby and will combine the two. Thank you for your inspiration.
Thank you for your information and time. I appreciate your demonstrations. You have answered so many questions. Now I feel more confident to try templates. Thank you so much
Brilliant!! You took the mystery out of how to get the exact portrayal I would like for my pieces. You are very clever and generous. Thank and God bless you
Noit thank you so much for making this video. You are such a great teacher and your explanations are very thorough and easy to understand. I can't wait to make some of my own too!!❤❤❤❤
You are so generous to teach so much. I think after seeing you do the glue technique, I could do it witha3d pen using plastic film in them. Them it would be sturdy, washable and using a hot tool that has a small flat triangle at the end, I think it is a soldering tool, flatten the design without having to use an iron. Thank you so much. Eudice
Thank you Noit! I found a box of acetate for overhead projectors at a used store. If they have a section with stationary items it’s a great place to explore possibilities! Great tutorial!
Noit - You are a good teacher! You know exactly how to break a process down step by step. Thanks for your generosity to share your knowledge & insight - I never would have thought of using ‘sturdy paper’ to start making stencils. Smart, smart, smart!! 👍🏻🌻💜✨
This was very helpful! Had to laugh because I was one of the 🦕🦖 that used to use those acetate sheets with projectors. And now I use them much more joyfully to make stencils and with alcohol inks. 😂
I always enjoy your videos. Your ideas are worth their weight in gold. I also enjoy your perspective of using what we have. Your clever ideas allow us to make the most of everything. Thank you.
My goodness Noit I love watching your videos, and yes I also like the humour. My tip for you for the glossy paper to make stencil would be to use the pages from the discarded pattern books from a fabric store. They are a good thickness and glossy. , plus you will find a ton of other inspirations from going through one of those books......I promise.!!!!!!! Colleen
This was one of the best clips I have seen on DIY stencils. I would love to see you design and cut a stencil for an Australian Superb Blue Wren. I have tried, but am struggling with the head. I have found that clear laminating sheets once put through the machine make inexpensive stencils.
Another great tutorial, Noit. I agree about the tiny curved scissors! They make the job of cutting curves so precise and easy. One of these days I’m going to try the glue gun stencils, too. And your stencils are among the most interesting I’ve seen, commercial or homemade.
Brilliant video, thank you so much for sharing. I'm new to the craft world and I've watched heaps of videos on stencilling, but this is by far the best. Definitely something I feel confident enough to try now and get a good result :)
The BEST stencil DIY video I have found on RUclips art community!
I wrote tonnes of notes. Gonna try all your methods and tips.

thank again from Pakistan 🌺
"You can end up in a loonyben after cutting this out." Amen sister! Been there done that!
LOL
NO SCOFFING, I THINK THIS IS GREAT!!!
Back in the 80's we would make stencils out of acetate using a wood burning stylus with a point, no need for scissors.
I've been experimenting with the wood burning tool. But I find it doesn't cut very cleanly...leaving little strings or blobs. Any tips? Thank you
@@joannemeller9126 Have you tried it at a lower temp. I haven't tried using my hot tool but would like to.
This is very helpful with the ironing to make them flat ! ❤
Love when you go off camera and we can still hear u! Thank u for sharing talent.
thank you this is real art. Very brain stimulating not like some other videos that is just painting and sticking transferred pictures.
Dear Noit, I'm very impressed by your cute bird stencils. Thanks!
It’s a wise RUclips tutorial maker who gives the viewers the opportunity to create without extra expenses. Thank you. I’ll be watching out for your videos

Hi Noit, great tutorial. I use laminating pouches, which l run through the laminator empty and then use that as a stencil film. X
Thank you Tania. That's great
I wondered if that would work once you started cutting into it. Thanks for sharing.
Such a great idea💡. I am an educator so I will have to tell folks to save their waste laminating scraps from the big machine.
That’s a great idea! I’ve even used the plastic film from boxed purchases with windows

"When dinosaurs roamed the earth" 👏👍😂 Yes, that's the story of acetate! I remember it well and when it stopped being available after a while.
