This was one of the most innovative ideas I’ve seen in a long time and I love that I can now use my dies in another way which just opened up a huge new world of possibilities. Thank you for sharing. I also appreciated you sharing your thoughts on the little side kick. There have been times that I haven’t wanted to pull out my bigger machine because my work space was already full of my project. Good to know you like it.

Great technique. Now to remember freezer paper next time I go to the store.
I was glad to hear you say you save everything because you hate waste. I have people ask me all the time why I save small scraps. I have some tiny punches and dies, if they will fit in the scrap, it gets saved.

Well, I stumbled across this post quite by accident, and I love what you’ve demonstrated! So very creative and clever. In a past life, I have been a quilter and still have freezer paper from those days. Now, I make cards and you’ve inspired a whole cluster of ideas. Thanks so much! I am a new follower! And, your cards are delightful!

Very cool! It’s cool how it adheres to the base. I don’t like adhesive sprays, so this is a better idea. It seems more like a mask than a stencil, though. Stencils collect the color in the openings; masks block the color and protect the base.

Great tips! Very inspirational, too! The final card was so intricate AND clever use of those glitter paper scraps. Could you put adhesive on the back of the original glitter paper sheet? Then the scrap flowers would be easier to adhere later. I'm a hoarder too. I save all my foil scraps and use them randomly on paper crafting projects and on junk journal and art journal pages. Gives them a bit of 'POP'. tfs!
