Wow! This is a GREAT tutorial! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Really enjoyed this , Will definatly try some. Thanks for sharing.
A handy tip is to make yourself a little handle on the back of your texture plates, by folding some masking tape in the middle, then sticking the edges down on the back of the plate. Makes it nice & easy to pick up the plate from the Gelli plate.
Great idea!
I use duct tape as it holds up a bit better 👍🏼💡😎
Thank you for a wonderful demonstration.
Absolutely magical Thankyiu !!!
I love all of these but the coolest is the string plate! That in it's self is a little piece of "quick art"!
Thank you for sharing your techniques. Will try to make ❤❤❤❤
Im new to this and learning so much from you! Thank you!
Love your videos. I learn so much. Thank you.
Truly love the straws, the linen cloth and the string plates!!
Thanks so much!
Soooo good. Thanks for the fantastic tutorial
Thank you. Very good techniques
Just what i was looking for! I am "itching" to try so many different things for texture. And yes, you don't have to spend a bundle. Thank you so much for your great video and showing all the results of each plate.
Very cool ideas!
Thank you 😊
These are great ideas! Thank you 😊
I haven't started this yet, but I justed to see what I have been missing. I see there has been a lot. I really enjoyed it, thanks and God Bless.
Such a good idea that can be produced without breaking the budget x
Exactly, and if it saves a few things from going to landfill, then that's even better!
Love the video. It will be useful to me. Thank you.
Love your ideas, I'm saving this one to remember how to do each one. I've saved a lot of your videos, they're fun.
❤Thank you.
All these texture plates are awesome but i especially like the one of tin foil. Wow!
Me too😍
Awesome, just found your channel and subbed, lots of great ideas for gelli printing
Thank you for some wonderful ideas for reusing regular items that might otherwise go straight into the trash. So cost effectively and lessening our footprint.
Other things are I’ve found around the house for texture - legos of different sizes, jars with embossed pattern on the glass, ceramic tile backing, woven baskets. So much fun to discover these hidden texture treasures!
Thankyou - I love looking at everyday items with my 'crafter's eye', finding the hidden possibilities.
Favorites: aluminum foil, straws and fabric. Good piece on info about the letters coming out correctly.
New subscriber here. I'm new to gel plate printing and am thoroughly enjoying binge watching your videos.
your backing board looks like Davey Board, used for bookbinding :)
This was one of the most helpful gel plate videos I have watched! I love creating gel prints for card bases and layering large die cut on top - I have subscribed to your channel and will be checking out your prior videos. Keep up the great content!!
Thank you so much xxx
Great texture plates, I'm impressed by the straws. Thanks Teresa!
I have some I made a couple years ago. I folded some paper into origami birds, glued them down , then glued down some rice so that it looked like they were eating birdseed. If it's flat enough to be glued down then it's fair game for a texture plate.
That sounds wonderful!
Oh wow, this is soooo cool! Love the straws and rope! Thank you so much!
Great tips!
Can't wait to try these!
Great video editing too! Nothing too much, just right. Fabulous, thank you!
Great video, you now have me looking with different eyes as to what household items I can use for gel printing.
Thank you Teresa😍
You are welcome Sheilagh x
Those are all wonderful!

i have used all except for the straws - i love the straws - Also what i did was purchase a Paint Roller from the Dollar Tree - empty toilet paper rolls fit on it Perfectly - so i wrapped the rolls with - aluminum foil - plastic wrap - twine - Fun Foam in ABCs - 123x & Shpaes - rubber bands - texture plates also sold at the Dollar Tree - but another idea for your cardboard is Water Bottle Caps - that makes wonderful circles - thank you Teresa - oops i had to come back and add Bubble Wrap!!
Great ideas - thankyou!
What great ideas.
Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to try this!
Lots of great ideas!

Thanks for some great ideas Teresa!🇨🇦
Great ideas. Well done❤️
This is brilliant! Thank you for the wonderful ideas.
Love these ideas. Will definitely try some. I also cut out die cuts from foam (I stick 2 x layers together to ensure it’s well-raised from the background) to make stamps from my dies.
Great idea 💡 😎
Great ideas I will definitely give it a try
I must try this. Simple yet beautiful! My fav - the straws print! 👀 I will have to try this. Thanks!

Hello! I just love your videos. I've been watching all of them on my television which means I can't leave you any comments or thumbs up. So....I'm on my computer now and I'm going back to "fix" that. You have wonderful techniques that are well explained and I love how you show actual samples at the end of you making cards or other items that uses the paper or fabric that you have embellished. Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to your videos with pleasure. (Peg)
Thankyou - You're the best! I watch a lot of YT on my television and it always annoys me that I can't leave comments (I have to make a mental note to do so on my laptop/phone at a later date!)
Wonderful, Theresa. As ever, simple and beautifully done. Thank you for sharing. xx
Love this tutorial. Never used a gel plate before but will definately get one now to try this technique. Thank you for sharing. Judy from South Australia.
I used my embossing folders to make texture plates on cardstock. They worked great. Also used craft foam to make homemade stamps for gel plate.
I agree - embossing folders work well and I have used them before as well as foam stamps.
same here!
Super!!
great tips !! thank you for sharing !! have a nice week-end
the straws and styrofoam were my favs! Very nice, helpful tutorial.

I just got a gel plate so I’m happy I found your Chanel , I loved the foil but then I saw the straws they are all great thank you for sharing

This is fantastic, i have to share it with my group they'll love this
Thanks Elena. 🥰
Terrific handmade texture plates. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them!
Thanks for sharing this video, now I want to buy a gel plate and try this.
What a great idea! I think I'll be making some of these. Thanks for the demos.
Have fun!
Love these texture plates. I made one with old letter stickers, didn’t glue them onto the card... and left most of the letters on the gel plate when I lifted the texture plate off 😆 It was easily fixed with some glue but it did make me laugh.
We live and learn!
I think the print you did with the straws is my favorite, but I like them all
Thankyou!
Those are awesome! I just saw Carole's video (Carole's Recrafted Boutique) where she made some texture plates and linked to your video. I love your use of household found objects, I'm always trying to use what I already have and keep it out of the landfill. I've made a few of my own before, but you take it to another level--I'm going to make one with straws for sure! Great ideas, gorgeous prints; thanks for sharing. Take care!
These are brilliant!. I'm definitely going to try making some of these. Thanks for inspiring us! Blessings, Helen
Thanks Helen!
Beautiful, keep safe and may God bless you always, friend from Philippines.
Brilliant. But guess what's just arrived in the post? Yep, texture plates! 🤣
Oh dear!! Well, I am sorry I didn't put this out a week earlier.....but it is always nice to have new supplies to play with!
@@TeresaMorgan absolutely and I'm still going to make my own 😁
Your work is beautiful and lovely. Mashallah lots of love from Pakistan
Thankyou!!
Great ideas !!!!
To make thick DIY-cardboard to use it as a base for stamps, you need DENSE "household"-cartons like cereal-boxes.
As for stamping some pressure is applied, corrugated cardboard does not work, because it is too "soft". Ask me how I know...🙂
Great demo...thanks :))))
Glad you liked it!
You could use fake flowers and leaves for a plate or how about paper clips, buttons.
