It would be nice if Arrowhead would at least comment on the helmet concerns, being that a lot of tests show it does not count. Cause if this is still the case, the armor adjustments will still do next to nothing with how many enemies seem to aim for the head of hell divers. So if you still see those 50%-75% one hit HP chunks, the helmet is still an issue..
They said before that they wanted helmets to be vanity apparel and have removed all bonuses from helmets pre-release. That's why they still have stats screen but no changes so far. Imo best choice would've been to only give armor full protection than only body/limb protection. It keeps helmets a vanity, but gives divers proper armor level overral.
Personally I hope they keep it that way, I dont want perks to determine my helmet choice I want to look cool, I already dislike armor perks because I feel I have to wear the scout armor because its my favorite perk gameplay wise, but Im not really a fan of how the armor looks. My personal suggestion would be to separate the perks from the armor, maybe keep it like you can choose your perk but they are limited to the armor type you are wearing.@@calluxdoaron1903
@@calluxdoaron1903 Since they updated the armor initially (.101 patch?), tests have proven that helmets were providing no protection; which is why we see those massive single hits that chunk divers. So if the devs want to have the helmets be only be vanity, then the body armor has to protect head as well.

The Antimaterial rifle was already 2 shotting Hulks to the face, I guess now its even better at shooting them at the back aswell as taking out tanks, I just wish they made the scope clearer.
Incendiary have been My main weapon, its allready was better than people speak about it, didnt know that either everything have been on fire, (no matter of host) but didnt know it does not do damage
Have they fixed the detector tower floor bouncing strategems? It's still annoying to play finicky games with what should be a simple objective. Also flag raise should be an added sub objective in higher level missions
It felt so weird. You had to hold the trigger to get a full burst rather than just click then it fires all three. Never played a game that worked that way
The dominator absolutely needed a buff, it’s supposed to be a giant unwieldy wrecking machine, it was so close before, it should be great now. Love that gun it’s so fun to use.
tried it and it's basically an upgraded slugger now, being able to stun lock devastators makes it my new go to weapon for bots ever since they nerfed slugger stagger.
I am really happy Dominator got the buff it deserved. I was using it a fair amount before and it always felt a bit off. What I really like about this change is that now it has room to have a solid slug and explosive tipped variant (300 physical damage + medium armor pen for slug, maybe light armor pen and 150 physical + 100 explosive damage (similar to liberator variant)). This would allow one to be much more capable against explosive weak points, but miss out on that armor penetrating goodness.
The balance tweaks just made them 10x easier imo, but the way me and my friends were doing the mission wasn't really intended. I was alone at the objective, whilst the 2 others ran around the map to POIs and aggroed the enemies. 6 minute mission completion on helldive and little to no enemies at main objective, whether it was against the bots or the bugs.
@@sritangwongsornram Bro what? I just played an evac mission and never at all in my 150+ hours of playing this game have I ever played a statistically IMPOSSIBLE mission, until now. On a level 7 suicide mission we were completely and utterly fucking swarmed by bots within 90 seconds. The entire evac area had 8 hulks at one point (those are just the ones I counted) and 5 tanks (again, just the ones I counted). It was actually impossible, like if you took 4 of the best helldivers 2 players in the entire world and had them do that mission on level 7, they would fail harder than humanly imaginable. Think of any eradicate mission for the automatons and quadruple the amount of enemies coming at you. At one point, I had my squad shield up and it got melted in less than a second. Maybe you have to do the stuff that you said, where one or two people run around the map, since only one person in our squad was running around until we needed him for back up. I'm gonna reiterate myself here, I've played plenty of extremely ball breakingly hard missions in this game, but have never felt like any of them were genuinely impossible for even the best of players.
They need to also patchthe mini map when you are holding grenade or strategem. When you are holding one and you open a map to ping a location your character will throw it killing everyone.
Why raise the cap when there aren't even any unlocks after 25? That's stupid.... Gonna lead to a lot of bored players having nothing to work towards because they're overleveled relative to unlocks.
a friend of mine were playing with it yesterday and early today and they were getting consistent lock-ons the whole time, so maybe they did stealth fixed 'em
Everybody was asking for more rockets actually, its an enormous buff. 'uge. I suppose they'll address it when they fix it, but its a low priority issue for sure, and im ok with that.
Just tested the slugger. The nerfs were not needed. Now its just relegated to the breaker status but worse because the damage and stagger is nerfed. No one's gonna wanna use this anymore over the plas 1.
@@argatar000Arrow head doesn't consult with the actual players for a comprehensive & fully tailored patch flow... This was the problem before, nerfing things that are only meta because they actually work well & giving you little options to crack armor or stagger big enemies. I'm telling you they don't consult the player base like they need to.
Arc thrower increased stagger force is a buff, it can slow down a charging charger, and it knocks back charging brood commanders completely out of their charge animations.

Ballstic shield was always goated vs bots, because when you aren't holding it, it sits on your back and still blocks shots. Meaning you could sprint to a bot base, throw down an airstrike and orbital barrage, then run away and devastator/turret/rifle shots would just completely harmlessly bounce off. I've survived situations where no other piece of gear would even come CLOSE to saving me, like 4 of the shield devastators trying to full auto me in the back, but the shield held firm. The personal bubble shield would've evaporated in like 2 seconds. With this patch making my heavy armor AND my shield better, it could seriously the build from 'tanky' to just full on tank.
My main issue with the spear was never how much ammo I picked up from resupplies, I always figured "high damage tracking rocket, therefore 1/ammo box” just fix the locking mechanism please. It's frustrating to have a bile titan that's 100m+ away catch up to me bc the lock wants to edge the whole time.
@@rallyupboys overall its still a nerf ( only overall buff if you didn't use it optimally pre-patch). you were basically dishing out about roughly 30-40% more arcs with half charging which significantly speeds up killing tanky targets like the charger. also was OP for clearing trash mobs and medium armored mobs.
@@Tankt0ptig3r I called it out that this weapon was gonna get nerfed. It was way too strong compared to the others. It even overshadowed the flamethrower. 100% agree with the nerf specially when you time your shots well, it could eradicate a full swarm of enemies easily including chargers and even titans if you know how to use it against them from long range
As an anti-material rifle user, I am really happy with the buff. It was already a high risk/high reward weapon; and the buff really enforces that notion. However, it will definitely make it more forgiving when being attacked by medium units like Berserkers and Devastators and helps reduce the TTK for heavy armored enemies as long as you hit their weak spot. Unfortunately, it still has the misaligned scope...
I love the arc thrower too but tbh it was the most OP support weapon in the game. I saw this coming lol. But i think it’ll still be very viable with the stagger increase
Same. It being a close range weapon now, with a slower charge...when the worst time to have it out was close range already even with the quick charge available. Could have improved close target arcing/target priority and reduced arcing to allies or something. We'll see but I have a feeling it may be getting retired :(
@@GoodnotGreat88 Gotta disagree. I've mainly used the arc thrower for about a month at this point and it feels like somewhere in a recent patch, they made it far more likely to misfire. For example, the game I played earlier, I was 10 feet away from a hive guard and had the high ground, but for some god forsaken reason my arcs were misfiring. Usually this only happens if there is a body/rock/bush/terrain in the way, however none of those were present and it was a clear line from me to the target. Usually you can account for misfires with the arc thrower by aiming in first person or aiming above target, however these strats don't seem to work anymore. Now you have to fully charge it, only to completely whiff your shot and have to charge again, most likely whiffing again. If they were going to make you have to full charge it, why the fuck didn't they fix how buggy the actual arcs are. It just feels unusable now.
Honestly, camera rover would be neat, given it's a bunch of cameras, maybe it'd increase the Radar detection range for your personal pings - add in the UAV boost and the Module and you could see every enemy everywhere, to better deliver Democracy to them.
The Anti Mat rifle was already nuts so hearing it got a buff is a bit confusing but more than welcomed. I’m curious how the Penetrator feels now that it has full auto.
I can't imagine the Penetrator is much better, the medium armor pen was pointless because it didn't have enough damage per mag to down anything with medium armour anyway (only got it 2 days ago and only used it against bots) unless you hit weak points at which point you could use any gun.
@@sirgaz8699 its strength is in its range, you can hit those weak points from a mile away before they get on top of you. IMO AMR was one of the highest skill guns in the game and high risk/reward. Hit your shots consistently and its very good, miss and you get overrun very fast. This buff reduces the skill cap needed to use it effectively.
Glad the Lvl cap increased but they need to increase the cap on medals. Maybe I’m a traitor but I haven’t signed in to do any dailies or help with the major order in days. There’s just nothing driving me back except my level(66) now(with the update).
Funny everybody getting hyped over the new weapon buffs and nerfs. IMO, vs the bots that is, the Scorcher coupled with Shield backpack and Quasar cannon is still gonna be main for many on higher diff cause the scorcher can handle anything up to hulks and tanks. The Quasar cannon can handle towers, dropships, hulks and tanks. Regarding tanks and towers, the Eagle rocket pods auto locks (when it works) onto the biggest target and can also take out factories. It's a really underrated stratagem vs bots. Alternative the Eagle airstike requires more skill but gets the same job done.
i think the nerf to the Heavy MG was meant more to be a change to make it feel less clunky, an unintentional nerf basically because in the discord the mods and devs are saying the only weapon they truly believe was nerfed was the slugger as the arc thrower was i guess seen more like getting a counter balance, spam fire and range traded for stagger pretty much
The HMG nerf is kinda split it makes the last RoF Mode at least potentially useable of course it reduces DpS but that doesnt matter if nobody actually gets to use it
@@BIGmlems Shutting down vomiting is extremely powerful and is 100% a factor in what weapons I chose (ran Punisher for a very long time). @@jasony8480 I just took it out and honestly it was absolutely amazing, especially against bots, and I agree that shutting spitters down is very important as I have died to them more often then I ever did to hunters 😂
Ballistic shield, heavy armour, SMG, quasar. The "I'm the hulk now" build is alive. But no seriously Sty, the ballistic shield has always been good against automatons cause it will take more damage in one durability life than a shield pack could hope to in 12 charges. Plus it works passively so you can run away or use a heavy weapon and not risk getting shot in the back.
I haven’t tried the buffs but before it was just bad. Shield gen pack was infinitely better. The problem is you have to be aiming to protect your front which basically makes you a sitting duck for rockets because of you being in aiming mode and having reduced speed. Plus it was super buggy and often times your character will glitch into the pose where you carry artillery rounds when you stimmed. Plus the shield literally has zero uses for the bugs which I don’t understand
@@Muichi__nah, higher difficulty bot missions the shield pack melted instantly and you would constantly lose it when behind cover because of hitbox on it. I never took the shield pack and always had less deaths than those who did
@@Muichi__ well yeah, it's a ballistic shield, it's pretty much tailor made for fighting bots, as for the aiming thing, that's literally what you would be doing anyway while firing and the slow is maybe 5% at worst, plus ballistic shields aren't meant for just set and forget, you use it to press on a position as the first one in or last out. As for rockets, the shield bounces them, sure it gets knocked out your hand, but you will take maybe 5% of your health from a direct hit that would otherwise kill you if you're unlucky, otherwise it will just eat projectiles for fun. The animation glitch sure as shit needs a fix though. But even before the first shield nerf, it was probably the better choice for automatons just for the fact it doesn't have the risk of getting 2 tapped by rockets, the thing needs 2 direct hits center mass from a tower turret to break it and pairs great with 2 of the best bot shredder guns in the game, actually with the marksman buff it pairs well with that too since prone it basically turns into a personal bunker.
@@rexex345 Back when before the rocket bug was fixed I kept getting one shot by a rocket even when it hit the shield which gave the impression that it didn't do anything for rockets. But ive tried it recently and its better than i thought but still not better than the shield gen pack. Yea it can break easily but still saves you from a multitude of stuff like a hulk flamethrower or tank/tower cannon shot that wouldvve otherwise killed you if you had the ballistic shield. plus the smg is good and all but not better than using a good primary like a scorcher, Sickle, slugger, etc. Plus when using a support weapon like the quasar cannon you have no protection other than the back which is not ideal
The thing about the cloaked ships is I don't think they're cloaked and they're shaped like Super Destroyers. I think they're SEAF Super Cruisers fighting automaton combatant ships in high orbit.
They actually fixed the largest issue of Spear. Since supply now restores 2 rockets, pickong up ammo crate will now restore 1 rocket and not just waste it. Sad news about Slugger though.
The largest issue of the Spear is that the lock-on is broken, it's one of the biggest jokes of these balance patches is that they're trying to rebalance weapons that are still bugged.
If they are "fixing" charge up of arc thrower how about they fix it not locking the arc properly on targets smh. Lower RPM on heavy machine gun is a buff. You don't need that RPM it's wasteful.
@@Justaduck-u3oI do think they need to change its priorities a bit though. I avoided it because it gave my brother trouble but I was testing last night and if you stand on a corpse the arc doesn't go out. It's not like it goes straight down, it just doesn't go out, and I think that causes confusion, especially since there's no reason for it to basically go straight down anyway. Same with the electric shotgun. Arcs being drawn toward barbed wire makes sense, but standing pretty much over it and being unable to shoot an enemy on the other side is a bit much.

Can you imagine the new race enslaving both other factions and we end up fighting armored bugs with rocket launchers gun turrets and flame throwers in the back ?
The armor buffs arent huge... Heavy armor is already barely a noticeable difference from light armor. 10% isnt going to change it much. Also yeah some nice weapon buffs but some huge weapon nerfs. Like the slugger fills no purpose now and the arc thrower an already finely balanced weapon getting nerfed. The biggest issue with the nerf being the charge time nerf + the bug that doesnt let it actually fire constantly.(youll fully charge it and itll make the noise that it shot but it wont do anything, this isnt new but the charge time change makes the weapon unusable in tandem with this bug)
Lock on in games has always been real finicky. It's largely due to the parameters set up by the developers in how selective it is. As long as you use it at range, it's easier to lock the target. It seems to want to be able to "see" the whole target.
12:20 Honestly this was the most frustrating thing ever once it keeps happening to your team over and over again. Kill the enemy while it’s charging you and get punished for it by dying. It honestly just didn’t make any sense, their actual attack did like 15% dmg but them dying and bumping into you is a instakill??! I like this change so much I hope to god they don’t bring that back
Im glad the liberator penetrator got its full auto back, the issue tho was it having 45 damage when the stock had 55. Would have been better to keep it burst only but buff its damage
imo the problem is the mag size. I feel like i'm wasting more time reloading the weapon more than shooting with it. But, it could also be a skill issue on my part 😂
I think the "rockets need a direct hit or will glance" for the exo suit applies to you the player. Rockets wont pen your armor unless its a direct blow

@@nadrianparty5727Nope, it's not what it should be. Stagger should have remained in place just like it's NON SLUG doppelganger. They buffed the AMR?! I was already wrecking the bots with it. It felt so easy, I changed up my weapons. That thing was already 1-2 shotting devastors and hulks with a shot to the head and that visor slit on the hulk.
For anyone concerned about stunning BT's.... It was a mistake in strategy to do that anyway. The best way to get them to stop is to get in front of them to make them do the stomp. They pause for about 5 seconds. A great window to either drop a 500kg or for a teammate to line up a quasar on them, etc. You only tend to get killed by BT's or Chargers because of the little dudes cutting you off or slowing you down. Kill Hunters and mini bugs first, then those big bug things, the brood commander. Basically, anything that can call a breech. Spewers (big or small), Chargers, and BT's can't call in more bugs, so leave these until last.
The Dominator looks very interesting now. While the arc thrower took a nerf I'm very curious about the increased stagger. I'm assuming that you won't be gunned down while you are charging so instead of bursting down enemies it's more like sustained support.
I just unlocked the Dominator yesterday and was using it against the bots and absolutely hated it. What a convenient time for a buff. Gonna try it again after work lol
Man a few more months of this and I’m going to forget shotguns are even in the game, that said atleast the other weapons should feel better now, especially the incendiary breaker and the dominator
How are you qualifying any of the statements you made about any of the nerfs or buffs mentioned? Have you tested ANY of it? I've seen CCs who have done some testing and found there's little to no difference with most of the "changes".
cant blame them for the stun reduction on slugger. i unlocked it before the last major order. it turned bots from a threat to a joke. but can we get a speed loader for the senator?
Quit dick riding the devs like a little teachers pet. It was literally the only gun worth using now it feels shitty and inadequate like the rest of the guns. I hate this game
What I hope to see is that if they add enemy ships to the skybox they also add the Liberty Cruisers and have them fighting and use that as a excuse for some new mission modifiers. And while I'm going to be "brutal" with my proposals I think it would narratively work and would just change up how players approach missions so much. So we'll call it "Contested Orbit" and either we can A) have the Number of reinforcements reduced by 1 (per Helldiver) and a 25% increase to reinforcement cooldown for when you run out of lives, signifying that the ship is having to split their focus because the battle above. Or B) the mission time is reduced by 15-20% signifying the increased risk of low orbit. The first obviously means you can't waste lives as freely and has less obvious impact, but the second, well now you have to think, is that outpost worth it?
@@copperhead550rip On other hand I played dominator a lot even before the buff, I am super stoked for this. too bad the Max RPM was nerfed on HMG. It was super fun to melt hulks point blank lol

The slugger nerf was unnecessary. Was the gun great? Yea. But actually took skill to use. You had to have good aim to get the best out of it. Some people don’t like it because of that. Seems like the devs are just looking at the numbers of the guns being used instead of actually fixing the guns nobody is using.
Slugger seems like it got absolutely GUTTED! I'll have to test it out to see the actual impact but on paper, seems a little harsh for a higher risk, higher reward weapon.

Problem with the Fire Damage buff is that it also increases damage you take from fire attacks. @nadrianparty5727 I haven't tried the changes but of course they had to buff the stagger cuz the weapon starts to suffer the closer they get, that's why I always start shooting the furthest distance I can
Used it all morning, once you get used to the distance nerf, it's better now. In helldivers it had no range, any body that played the first game knew it was only a matter time before they nerfed the range. Being able to stagger and slow down larger enemies at 30 meters while also killing smaller enemies is crazy. Pairing it with a flamethrower was already strong, now they're very very strong together.
I saw one of the illuminate stealth ships shooting red lasers at a super destroyer in orbit of Malevelon Creek yesterday. Because of the red lasers I think it’s not really an illuminate ship, but an untextured bot ship
I’ve been using the Dominator for a while now and it didn’t need a buff. It is a high skill cap weapon most people don’t use properly. The stagger and 50% damage increase is definitely going to make it more viable against bots. It was already very good against bugs, being able to take down most targets in 1 or 2 shots. I love the hidden changes btw. As long as they always show bug fixes and balance changes, hidden details are always a pleasure to find.
It's so disappointing to see that they don't learn their lessons. Stop nerfing guns that feel good, just buff the lame ones and see what happens. Slugger did NOT feel OP, I wasn't even using it. Personally I hope they keep it that way, I dont want perks to determine my helmet choice I want to look cool, I already dislike armor perks because I feel I have to wear the scout armor because its my favorite perk gameplay wise, but Im not really a fan of how the armor looks.

It's actually pretty darn good now? My test was with Automaton Berserkers - chewed up those scabs nice and quick

So first they nerf the breaker(which I loved) and after making the switch to the slugger and beginning to like that gun, they nerf it...
Alternative the Eagle airstike requires more skill but gets the same job done.
i think the nerf to the Heavy MG was meant more to be a change to make it feel less clunky, an unintentional nerf basically because in the discord the mods and devs are saying the only weapon they truly believe was nerfed was the slugger as the arc thrower was i guess seen more like getting a counter balance, spam fire and range traded for stagger pretty much
Means it can shut spitters down mid barf where as it couldn't before compared to any of the punisher variants.
The HMG nerf is kinda split it makes the last RoF Mode at least potentially useable of course it reduces DpS but that doesnt matter if nobody actually gets to use it

In some cases, the guns can’t even deal the correct damage because frames aren’t registered hitting the target.

I want a camera rover that follows you around and saves a replay from its pov
They buffed the AMR?! I was already wrecking the bots with it. It felt so easy, I changed up my weapons. That thing was already 1-2 shotting devastors and hulks with a shot to the head and that visor slit on the hulk.
Finally we ballistic shield mains have been recognized
Use it with the knight and the revolver for close and long range
Guess they will just keep nerfing the most popular weapons...
I think the Balance is pretty okay that they approached this time =)
These weapon changes/relabelings are a godsend, also ROCKETS ARE BALANCED NOW
Arc Thrower staggers Hulks
Slugger takes two shots to stagger Devastators
Plasma shotgun: *laughs in stagger*
also Walkers and gunships are here so have fun.
Slugger my beloved, what have they've done to you...
Look at how they massacred my boy!
The Dominator looks very interesting now. While the arc thrower took a nerf I'm very curious about the increased stagger. I'm assuming that you won't be gunned down while you are charging so instead of bursting down enemies it's more like sustained support.
It's my favorite support, once you get used to the range I think it's better now. Coupled with flamethrower they are devastating.
No, the slugger didn't need a nerf, it was perfect as it was, fucking Arrowhead just telling us we can't have nice things
Suck it up.
I hate the fire breaker... My teammates keep setting me on fire.
*sings* This guy is on FIIEEEYAAHHHHH*!
It's not the fire breaker. It's the shooter
😂@@TheMocutMiester
Best weapon for PvP maybe
I believe the ships that are shown are Automaton Capital ships.
When are then going to fix bile titan corpses? Every time I approach one I get flung into space and the whole game un loads until my teammates extract
Can't wait to find out about the sweeping changes they don't mention. (Devestator rockets now additionally emit an EMS field)
cant blame them for the stun reduction on slugger. i unlocked it before the last major order. it turned bots from a threat to a joke. but can we get a speed loader for the senator?
My slugger…
That’s no nerf that was a murder…
dominator is right there buddy use it instead
@@grunt3906 I’m a slugger fan not a dominator fan 🤣🤣
slugger is for sissies now real men use the dominator @@copperhead550
@@copperhead550rip
On other hand I played dominator a lot even before the buff, I am super stoked for this. too bad the Max RPM was nerfed on HMG. It was super fun to melt hulks point blank lol
I didn't even read the patch notes, just equipped my slugger. I though I was just really bad at the game somehow. It wouldn't do, what it normally does.
The armor buff is meaningless when it doesnt add protection to the head and random head hits is what takes people out the most.
Disagree, explosions are what kills most people. Bots are programmed to shoot for the body and shooting back suppresses them lowering their accuracy.
Oh no, Blizzard is coming for helldivers! Quick girls, hide your breast milk!
Huh!?
Huh!? two
@dragonking4386 @@mozar94 Blizzard Entertainment is a video game company that had a harassment suit filed against them a couple years ago. One of the incidents listed in this suit was that bottle of breast milk was stolen from a female employee. Hence the joke - Blizzard is coming and it's going to steal your breast milk.
Huh!? three
It's a reference to Activision-Blizzard harassment suit. One of the episodes in it was that nursing employee got her breast milk stolen from a launge freezer.
By the way for anyone that didn't know the new environmental effects were already in the game. I posted in a previous video that had you pressed r2 to see the environmental hazards of planets we haven't been to yet, it showed these two new environmental hazards on planets we haven't been to yet. They were always there they just weren't officially introduced. Also I don't know why the heavy machine gun got busted down.
dominator needed those buff as it somehow dealt less damage to objectives like the shreeker nest then the plasma plasher gun that had half the damage output then the dominator
Uhh.. you do know how explosive damage works in this game right?
@@Vengar_ nope
Problem with the Fire Damage buff is that it also increases damage you take from fire attacks. So getting burned by Laser orbital, Hulks, or your own weapons, is an insta-kill with little to no time to react. Even if you Stim the frame you take damage-it won’t matter as the DoT tick outpaces your Stim by far. It doesn’t feel good.
you're just gonna have to pay more attention to the fire. be it your own, your allies or the enemy
Can they stop nerfing everything in a fucking PvE game, I'm so tired of their bullshit.
Puss. They buffed more than they nerfed. What weapon are you upset about?
I just started using the Anti Material Rifle with the selfish supply pack this weekend so seeing it got a nice buff this morning has me all sorts of excited! I might even try the Diligence counter sniper now that it got buffed to penetrate medium armor.
Wow, more nerfs to weapons that weren't seen as a problem before they became popular. Fantastic
Yup an you better not make those weapons popular or we nerfing those too
Only a matter of time before the Quasar gets its balls chopped off too
Yeah, wish they buffed weapons instead of nerf. Yep, they only are nerfing us. They should be buffing primaries, but they just aren't here. So sad
@@oneofthekindscarf8612all primaries are fine. They buffed more than they nerfed. Sorry to the slugger users. Arc thrower is better now for team play, and didn't have an issue with it solo.
@@oneofthekindscarf8612 "Only nerfing us"
Dude shut UP. The vast majority of weapon changes in this patch were buffs.
Sick! This morning I was thinking about the heavy dmr needing a buff!
What that camera drone caught was you not saluting that flag as it went up. Disloyalty will not be tolerated.
A couple of other changes:
Arc Thrower can no longer open shipping containers.
They changed the artillery shells again.
Yellow-orange = High Yield
Red Shell (formerly explosive) = Napalm
Gray Shell = Explosive
Pastel Blue Shell = Static Field
I haven't seen mini nuke or smoke yet.
Oddities:
The first time I called an extraction, the pelican touched down and fell through the world.
When I return to the ship, I'm still covered in blood.
Had pelican randomly go through the ground since the game dropped. Same with blood and guts on character on ship.
the real question is, is the game right now helldivers 2 or crashdivers 2?
Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex.
Sorry, couldn't resist. Crashdivers 2 all the way baby.
Liberator-P is the worst? Nani? It's my main bug gun, you just have to learn how to use it, instead of jerking the trigger down xD
one change i really want to see, specific to the new hmg...increase the mag size, plz? give it a 200 round belt, but only one spare mag, would work wonders as a bot daka xD
Damn, they just had to nerf the arc thrower distance. It's why it was so good. People gotta stop praising the good weapons so arrowhead won't nerf them
honestly with the staffer it’s kinda buffed. in game the range isn’t that noticeable
New meta is to complain about every weapons and never recommend one so the devs don't nerf them.
I saw one of the illuminate stealth ships shooting red lasers at a super destroyer in orbit of Malevelon Creek yesterday. Because of the red lasers I think it’s not really an illuminate ship, but an untextured bot ship
I just unlocked the Slugger last night.🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Lmao of course
I’ve been using the Dominator for a while now and it didn’t need a buff. It is a high skill cap weapon most people don’t use properly. The stagger and 50% damage increase is definitely going to make it more viable against bots. It was already very good against bugs, being able to take down most targets in 1 or 2 shots. I love the hidden changes btw. As long as they always show bug fixes and balance changes, hidden details are always a pleasure to find.
rip slugger
the fun ones never last
I guess i'll play the game the way the devs want me to
The slugger is fine, quit your complaining.
POV: Helldivers when their gun gets a minor nerf
Every update there needs to be one weapon to sacrifice.
It's so disappointing to see that they don't learn their lessons. Stop nerfing guns that feel good, just buff the lame ones and see what happens. Slugger did NOT feel OP, I wasn't even using it. But it did feel good, and it pisses me off that the second the devs see people using something they go "OH NO WE CANT HAVE FUN NOW CAN WE???"
The AMR needs more than the damage buff. It needs an ammo buff, reloading only half the magazines from one resupply box is insane
