1:26 you can bring it to helldive, just don’t be the guy who decides to stab the moment they miss 3/5 shots. I saw a guy do it back to back after a reinforcement. I stopped shooting , stood there (mind you I’m getting shot at too) watched him just try to melee while surrounded. And then when I saw him getting hit too much I finished the bots off. If you have too, stab, shoot, or vice versa, dive BACKWARDS….shoot, and reload if you know you’re not going to get shot, and shoot again. I still got a 200+ elimination with the constitution on me, and without heavy armor. Yes I had other things to assist. Loved how this video had some nice wholesome undertones, especially at the beginning talking about how helpful teamwork is for IRL non Helldiver missions, and at the end talking about breaking away from metas and playing for fun. :)
And this is why you're one of my favorites when it comes to HD2 content. We don't all HAVE to play at difficulty 10 all the time. It's hella tedious and frustrating when you're not in the mood for tryharding. I'll play on any difficulty, from 10 to 1, depending on my mood/energy and who I'm playing with. Not all my squadmates are comfortable at level 10, so. Sometimes just slowly grinding level 1s and 2s to just gently nudge the MO forward is enough while I'm watching YT or something else. And the constitution is doing just fine on those lower difficulties and is hella fun to use.
Yup. If I'm running with randos, I'm usually queuing up tier 6. With the lads usually it's tier 7 (we can flex all the way to tier 10, but we are all on that sample grind so tier 7 is the sweet spot of samples and getting out in 1 piece).
@@puthenveetilnoel My regular squadmates tend to stick around the 6-8 region as well for having a decent time in the field. 9-10 is "Serious mode" and no meme builds, more often than not xD
“Despite these challenges I decided to spend 15 hours of my life…sweet liberty, what is wrong with me?…” Nothing sir. You are simply enlightening new recruits and veterans alike that all of democracy’s weapons are viable with the right plan and load out combo. I salute you sir. o7
You sir are not given enough credit for how good your editing is and how funny your humor is. God I love this channel. As always, here's wishing you the best from Canada!
I’ve only found you recently and I absolutely love your humour and how you put fun first, it reminds me on the first few months of release when I ran with my own squad, those were the days, haha.
I thought the constitution was a joke weapon but then I ran difficulty 7s and 8s with it. Turns out, it’s a headshoting machine on the automaton front, with surprisingly good handling and gentle bullet drop.
The constitution has been my favorite bot weapon since it came out. Been bringing it with the senator and frags and putting it with the railgun and supply pack to take out heavier enemies and it works great. Also tried it with the stalwart on 10s last night and that went pretty well too other than the 4 times I walked in front of my friend's recoilless rifle
this was most hilarious XD my friends and i did a challenge on bugs where we said: NO STRATAGEMS meaning: - no support weapons called in - no offensive or defensive stratagems - no resupply what we did was: - scavenge support weapons from the map - we found 2 flamethrowers and a railgun - stratagems for mission critical equipment for obvious reasons - SEAF Artillery since it is a mission bonus we were debating if we should use reinforcements and sattled on: NO. but that was no fun. was a fun challenge, using only primary and scavenged weapons, actively searching the map for amo/stims/grenades.
I love it! I'm sharing this video with my group and seeing if they will go "full immersion" with me. As a lesser skilled player, your words on difficulty resonate with me. My group plays on 8, but I'm more comfortable on 6. Life is hard enough.
Arrowhead should consider adding a booster that either gives you the effects of a normal stim or the syringe gun's mini stims whenever you kill an enemy with a melee. Even the mini stim would go a long way to making a pure melee build viable, especially if the rumors of weapon customization are true. And peak physique would have a lot more valuable as it lets the melee hit a lot of breakpoints
At difficulty 7-8 it's still a beast, 9-10 and it's just not fast enough, even though it's actually really accurate and does a good amount of damage you just can't shoot it fast enough to get enough chaff out of the way
I was super excited to get this because it was the weapon I needed for hanging out on low difficulties. With all the buffs, it was hard to find a primary weapon to take into missions with new players that wouldn’t hinder their experience. This weapon is the perfect solution for that. My visit the noobs on difficulty 2-4 loadout is: 1. Constitution 2. Stim pistol or senator 3. Throwing knives 4. EAT 5. Optional support weapon: - stalward or MG-43, often none. - these can be given to the new player if they are struggling or lose theirs. Or used if you find the difficulty becomes a significant challenge 6. Eagle strafing run 7. Orbital precision strike 8. Machine gun sentry (wip, might change later, its kind of powerful) - helps teach new players sentry placement 9. (Optional stratagem): anything you think is cool, but not so powerful that it takes away new players agency. Orbital stun or smoke works here if the goal is just to fill up a slot. 10. Flexible reinforcement budget booster. This makes even early game somewhat of a challenge and lets you support the new player instead of making them feel redundant. Edit: I hope they give us the shotgun support weapon so I can add it to this loadout. It adds a nice grizzled veteran aesthetic.
"Weather forecast of spicy rain with a chance of liberation"😂 You have a true way with words, Commissar. Love everything about this approach and attitude to the game in general!
“Someone has to look after the Dad divers, the casual divers, and butterfingers brigade, and that someone might as well be me” such beautiful Liberty spoken.
I have a fun idea for a "meme" build that might actually work really well: Team Fortress Two. Each of you builds a loadout based on one of the TF@ class (example: heavy with mg and shield generator).
Well I have good news! I'm planning on doing a loadout based on the engineer class for the next video. The new halt shotgun seems perfect for the role, and with sentries being...kinda op, feels like a good time to do it.
what can i say... the important thing of a videogame is having fun, but not everyone understands it. it's not a bad weapon i tried it too, the bayonet is effective and it balances the low damages that the bullets of the rifile do with melee damages.
Some of my most hilarious games has been with the Strategem Roulette. It's great. Random loadout? Sometimes the synergy surprises you...sometimes it doesn't. I personally don't randomize the armor or booster. But the rest is fairgame. I adjust the difficulty according to expected performance. HIGHLY recommend. Alternative is everyone has to use the same loadout instead of random for each player. Adds more cohesiveness and feel to the game. To change things up further, if it's a BAD random set...you can change one (1) of the stratagems for your choice to make the rest work. CHOICES!
I love your non-toxic opinion on difficulty, my friends and I tend to play on 5-7 depending on how many of us are there and just how difficult we feel like going. 6-7 is a nice sweet spot for fun vs. challenge for us.
The constitution is an amazing DMR. Its strength is mid range trash clear. Since its a rounds reload weapon you need to constantly be reloading the gun to ensure you have a full mag. Knowing when to fall back is an important skill to know with this weapon. It struggles with crowd control and medium enemies and is not the best against heavies. So bringing a stratagem that can handle crowds and armor is advisable. As for medium enemies while the weapon can handle them kill times are slow as many require accurate kill shots or multiple shots to some weak points. I use the constitution for a stealth build against bots and bugs Constitution, grenade pistol, throwing knives, any light or stealth armor, eagle air strike, orbital gas, AMR and jet pack is my load out.
Great video as always, and ngl the "just lower the difficulty" line at the start is very true. Like don't get me wrong I'm 100% using this thing at Super Helldive either way right now as is, but man I am desperately anticiparting every tuesday in hopes that'll be the day they buff it. No this isn't a skill issue or anything, I do (and soon to record, youtube uploads coming soon) super helldive runs on the regular when my friends aren't available. Being objectively terrible isn't what this rifle is supposed to be, in the first game it was a powerful gun that was great at single target damage and had the highly coveted armor penetration ability. The challenge and meme of this rifle is that its a slow firing bolt action with no horde clear capability in a game all about horde clear, so I'm waiting for the patch that gives it that oh so lovely heavy penetration and gets its damage to atleast above that of the per shot to the CS. Once that's implemented, I'm gonna have a blast doing Constitution ONLY runs (no damaging strategems weapons or grenades except for the constitution, grenade pistol just for building destruction). As it stands that kind of run just isn't feasible with this gun.
Currently in love with the servo legionnaire armor, knight, EXO Emancipator/Jump pack, strafing run, OPS and walking barrage/end strike. It’s good all around and super fun! You need to be fast, and know the terrain
I just ran a bug mission with 3 randos all using the new warbond armor. (I was too) The absolute VIBE of all four of us standing in a line and laying down concentrated fire into a bug breach together was glorious. Focused Fire is glorious.
Love the Constitutions Rifle. It actually carried me at one point when I ran out of ammo on everything else and by the end I actually had the least death count from my squad. Will definitely play with it again for MORE dumb fun 👍👍
I have a friend who while playing the first game would only, wear the ceremonial armor and use the Constitution. I haven't played with him in a little bit on 2 so I don't know if he's gonna insist on his old load out again. But I did play with another friend and we fucked about with jet packs and the constitution, though he didn't rock the senator like I did. His words on the constitution was and I quote. "This gun is dog shit." My response was cackling like a madman as I 1v1 a chainsaw handed murdermachine "I know isn't it great?"
Speaking my language here, Kai! ...One of 'em, anyway. Having fun in video games is starting to feel like a friggin' lost art. People like you are keepin' it alive! Speaking of quad stacks... Would four railguns used in lieu of primary weapons just be high tech musket warfare?
Kai made me laugh and yes IGNORE all the "gamers" who are too much in love with themselves. New warbond ey, okay lemme drop in the WAY I WANT and have SOME FUN!
"Game too hard, it ain't fun.... on Super Helldive 10" man I'm glad we have an awesome community so we don't have to deal with this nonsense lol Love the content!
I think a really cool "buff" they could give the constitution in terms of not actually just buffing the damage to make it compete with other primaries, would be to give it one of the old enfield style cup grenade launchers that you could mount. it would be like changing the firing style, but it would have like a 1.5 second animation and then allow you to launch either a small included explosive projectile similar to like the grenade pistol or maybe even the crossbow, or just launch one of your equipped grenades. I think being able to launch thermite grenades or HE grenades might be a little busted, so I would assume it would be like 3 or 4 included smaller grenades. It would give it more utility and the ability to clear some larger groups, but it still wouldn't really be as good at anything as the other primaries, and its still technically historically accurate and could easily fit into the actual universe. I don't personally think that the constitution needs a damage or armor pen buff, its literally just a historic item thats still in production for the average citizen to give to their 12 years old (canon) and for ceremonial use within SEAF, it shouldn't be functioning on par with the modern day weapons, otherwise Super Earth's weapons R&D teams needs some re-education. Stripper clips for the rifle would be cool too, but not really that big of a difference, especially considering that with round reload you can stay pretty stocked up in most situations other than those most dire.
Been running constitution with senator back up and gas grenades wearing the firefighter (blue trench coat) uniform and field chemist helmet with 120 barrage, orbital gas strike, walking barrage/napalm barrage, flamethrower for a ww1 vibe and it’s very fun until factory striders and gunships
4:02 Proud member of the Butterfingers Brigade and the Noob Squadron reporting in. *salutes* - less than 10 hours played, nothing unlocked yet but I'll be damned from letting that stop me spreading that DEMOCRACY!
constitution would be better if it has faster fire rate and stripper clip reload when empty then we are golden. the biggest draw back of the rifle is 5 rounds shooting in a horde-like game like this. they can buff all the damage they want but the lack of speed will always hindered you.
I wish there was a non-joke version of this gun, like with much better damage and penetration, like a Rifle Senator basically. And, for the love of God, stripper clips. I wish it also had an actual bayonet charge that would deal more damage
To anyone who can only somehow find entertainment or fun in the game by ONLY being optimal, ONLY playing on the highest difficulties and either keeping it to your friends or making your choices everyone else's problem (especially your attitude when others dont do what you want) with public lobbies... I hope you're still having a good time but for the love of all things holy and not, learn how to change your narrow perspective from time to time. There's more than one light to see with. You limit yourself so much in life. Do something about it. Don't just be satisfied with trying to be perfect. You never will be. That's okay. Literally TODAY I did a difficulty 9 terminid exterminate with just myself and my friend and the ONLY thing we brought with us were orbital bombardments. All 4 stratagems. Thats it. We never stopped laughing and still completed the mission. There's more than one way to have fun, even if you're staring at a defeat screen.
I actually like how much the Constitution forces me to play methodically. Because of its limitations, it forces me to practice 3 things: situational awareness, positioning, and discretion. This gun forces me to be careful about where and when I fight, to be careful about the distance to enemy forces, and avoid panic shots. I've found in other games that putting artificial limits on myself to increase the difficulty helps me break bad habits and form better ones. These habits benefit me tremendously when I switch to more capable load outs.
Give it a stripper clip for full reloads and a slightly more powerful shot and it's good to go. Never a serious weapon, not all of them need to be, but just tweak the numbers for maximum fun. Also, a melee damage armor that isn't jungle armor please.
I second that about the G6 frag. I was a stun grenade main, but the damage and the spread of the G6 is dominant! With +2 grenade armour = 7 grenades! I don't even mind cookin the nades!
saw a what-if about deployable super heavy armor to wear, would love to charge a bot outpost with that, a chain sword, and the plasma pistol (easy my new fav pistol) xD
I don’t know why but I love being a contrarian when it comes to weapons in games. Playing a shooter? Give me that shiv, sword, or bonk hammer. Playing a melee game? Where’s my bow, crossbow, or musket. Everyone’s got magic? I’m going to build a pet turret, golem, and artillery cannon and show you science is magic. It’s just fun for me. Plus in this case I have a fondness for bolt-actions and stabbing things.
Sounds like you belong in the research and development division! Super Earth encourages helldivers to push the boundaries when it comes to eliminating the enemies of Humanity.
Me and a group of friends role played the death Kori of krieg on difficulty 7-8 with this rifle and a bunch of orbital bombardment stratagems, wasn’t the most efficient of saving reinforcements but was extremely fun

Constitution needs a stripper clip reload (full-magazine-reload) when reloading at 0 bullets in the magazine.
Now we only need access to the Break Action Shotgun as a Stratagem Weapon to properly fight like our Forefathers intended.
i will say peak physique armor works ridiculously well with the bayonet, helps a lot of you use a machinegun aswell.
“Despite these challenges I decided to spend 15 hours of my life…sweet liberty, what is wrong with me?…”
Nothing sir.
A doughboy-themed helmet would be so nice to have for true Great War immersion!
All quiet on the bug front
the templar division trained with the constitution rifle since it was given as a free gift
Basically the death corps of Kreig, "come here tank" stabs tank
"moderate amount of friendly fire in my back", god damn
100% agreed, fun is allowed, and highly recommended. You do not need to play on the highest possible difficulty to have fun in any game 👍
"Affix bayonets! Charge!"
Automaton: **immediately floors you**
this was most hilarious XD
my friends and i did a challenge on bugs where we said: NO STRATAGEMS
meaning:
- no support weapons called in
- no offensive or defensive stratagems
- no resupply
what we did was:
- scavenge support weapons from the map - we found 2 flamethrowers and a railgun
- stratagems for mission critical equipment for obvious reasons
- SEAF Artillery since it is a mission bonus
we were debating if we should use reinforcements and sattled on: NO. but that was no fun.
was a fun challenge, using only primary and scavenged weapons, actively searching the map for amo/stims/grenades.
People need to remember that Videogames are meant to be fun.
Its why they have "game" in the title.
I love it! I'm sharing this video with my group and seeing if they will go "full immersion" with me.
As a lesser skilled player, your words on difficulty resonate with me. My group plays on 8, but I'm more comfortable on 6. Life is hard enough.
3:47 i would unironically love watching a video where you do this
Arrowhead should consider adding a booster that either gives you the effects of a normal stim or the syringe gun's mini stims whenever you kill an enemy with a melee.
My visit the noobs on difficulty 2-4 loadout is:
1. Constitution
2. Stim pistol or senator
3. Throwing knives
4. EAT
5. Optional support weapon:
- stalward or MG-43, often none.
- these can be given to the new player if they are struggling or lose theirs. Or used if you find the difficulty becomes a significant challenge
6. Eagle strafing run
7. Orbital precision strike
8. Machine gun sentry (wip, might change later, its kind of powerful)
- helps teach new players sentry placement
"Weather forecast of spicy rain with a chance of liberation"😂
You have a true way with words, Commissar. Love everything about this approach and attitude to the game in general!
“Not one step back” when being overwhelmed is such a Commissar thing to say, checks out 😂
“Someone has to look after the Dad divers, the casual divers, and butterfingers brigade, and that someone might as well be me” such beautiful Liberty spoken.
I love seeing people in this game actually recognizing how extremely powerful teamwork is, even just a little bit of communication goes a looong way.
@@CommissarKaiengineer builds are my favorite!
The "lower the difficulty"" had me. lol
Dropping that barrage beacon after being ragdolled was like - Oh oh, we Fd up.
what can i say... the important thing of a videogame is having fun, but not everyone understands it. it's not a bad weapon i tried it too, the bayonet is effective and it balances the low damages that the bullets of the rifile do with melee damages.
CHOICES!
Fuck, i'm renaming our weekly Helldiver group the 'butterfinger brigade' in honor of this video :-D
Returned to the game after quite a few months away. Glad to see I can now completely fall into the WWI trench fighter mentality
I love your non-toxic opinion on difficulty, my friends and I tend to play on 5-7 depending on how many of us are there and just how difficult we feel like going. 6-7 is a nice sweet spot for fun vs. challenge for us.
The “emotionless” automatons
When they hear a squad shout
“FIX BAYONETS! “
💀
As a dad diver who loves bayonets, I appreciate you.
(I was too)
The absolute VIBE of all four of us standing in a line and laying down concentrated fire into a bug breach together was glorious.
Focused Fire is glorious.
Love the Constitutions Rifle. It actually carried me at one point when I ran out of ammo on everything else and by the end I actually had the least death count from my squad. Will definitely play with it again for MORE dumb fun 👍👍
You might want to consider a "Modernist" squad:
Quazar, Sickle, Loyalist, Shield Pack. "Assault"
Lascanon, Scythe, Loyalist, Dog-Rover. "Firewall"
Railgun, Scorcher, Dagger, Jumppack. "Sharpshooter"
Arcthrower, Purifier, Dagger, Supply Pack. "Utility"
Strategems: Orb. Railgun &/or Lazor.
Rest per preference.
They literally stabbed a tank to death..... some serious Steel Commanders.
It has become my main on both fronts 🤩 I hope that your video will convince people to do the same.
We need more of this. Memes & gimmicks can give this game more longevity than anything else.
I honestly hope that the Constitution gets a buff. I like it to be a little better than the senator.
Speaking my language here, Kai! ...One of 'em, anyway. Having fun in video games is starting to feel like a friggin' lost art. People like you are keepin' it alive!
Speaking of quad stacks... Would four railguns used in lieu of primary weapons just be high tech musket warfare?
Excessive amount of artillery, bayonet charges and digging trenches?
*happy gas mask noises*
I love how yall all came together to take out the tank the old fashion way 😂😂
Kai made me laugh and yes IGNORE all the "gamers" who are too much in love with themselves. New warbond ey, okay lemme drop in the WAY I WANT and have SOME FUN!
You'll put your eye out with that thing!
"Game too hard, it ain't fun.... on Super Helldive 10"
man I'm glad we have an awesome community so we don't have to deal with this nonsense lol
Love the content!
Best Helldivers video ever .
4:58 Pro Constitution tip, at the back of the tank, below the turret is a weak spot, only 20-ish stabs per tank and you just knifed it!
constitution would be better if it has faster fire rate and stripper clip reload when empty
then we are golden.
the biggest draw back of the rifle is 5 rounds shooting in a horde-like game like this. they can buff all the damage they want but the lack of speed will always hindered you.
LOL.Tsar Kolokol as Liberty bells... Now I've seen everithing
5:56 that was some stormtroopers type of stuff
strike at zero hour
with overwhelming firepower
Give it a stripper clip for full reloads and a slightly more powerful shot and it's good to go. Never a serious weapon, not all of them need to be, but just tweak the numbers for maximum fun. Also, a melee damage armor that isn't jungle armor please.
I second that about the G6 frag. I was a stun grenade main, but the damage and the spread of the G6 is dominant! With +2 grenade armour = 7 grenades! I don't even mind cookin the nades!
A whole squad of bayonets. beautiful. (I like the Constitution w/ Airburst rocket on lvl 10 Bots)
Fun is indeed the best doctrine.
Butterfingers brigade reporting for duty😂 I will serve liberty with great passion and more friendly fires than average 😢
Arrowhead: Nerfs weapons
Helldivers: Complain
Arrowhead: Buffs weapons
Helldivers: "Nerfed rifle it is!"
saw a what-if about deployable super heavy armor to wear, would love to charge a bot outpost with that, a chain sword, and the plasma pistol (easy my new fav pistol) xD
Alternative title:
“Kai accidentally discovers Trenchdivers”
4:00
Damn, bro really called me out like that
Me and a group of friends role played the death Kori of krieg on difficulty 7-8 with this rifle and a bunch of orbital bombardment stratagems, wasn’t the most efficient of saving reinforcements but was extremely fun
