Please define "emotional intelligence", because the term "emotional intelligence" was made up by an author with no psychology background whatsoever. It was coined by an author who used it in his book title to make sales from gullible clowns who believer everything they read or see. Good lord.

Not true either, when I was a child I thought I was a better fighter then any other child so I would constantly fight other boys. My Father tried everything he could to stop that but it only subsided as I got older. Me and a few of my friends were FAR WORSE people when we were little kids then now.

You think? These little games that parents play are called 'push-pull' parenting. It's literally one of the most damaging things a parent can do to a child. As is plain for everyone to see, she is playing with his emotions to see what his reaction will be. If you think this shit is cute in any way, you're literally abusing your kid, even though it seems like innocent fun.
At 14 I was seated at our kitchen table and my mother walked behind me. I guess I flinched, and she starts laughing and says "why did you flinch?" I was in my 40's before I realized I had actually had symptoms of PTSD from her beating me as a kid, and I understand fully why I am single and have zero tolerance for women.

Being kind and forgiving and loving others as Jesus loved us, it’s always on my mind. And I thank God for the new lenses of youth and innocence that I can look through-through my son.

@@ihatedaisies yeah that's the way it is for the most part. But I was speaking from an empath point of view (the exception to the rule I guess) and I believe that empaths are just born special, they don't have to be reminded what is right or be taught what is right we just feel it. They can feel when you are hurting, happy, upset, ect. It's a feeling that I've felt since I was little bitty, I don't ever remember not feeling this way. It's hard to explain unless you are one. But I do know that when you're an empath, the number one thing that's frustrating is when people get mad or irritated at you for caring too much about others (especially when you don't know them). But I'm not disagreeing with you at all because you have a very valid point. All I'm saying is most of us in life have seen a family where everyone in it (including and especially the parents) is so vile and mean and then there's that one person that just is so loving and caring, they didn't learn it from their family.

The little boy was treating his Mom the same way she treats him when he does something bad. Parents, we need to be so careful what we teach our children. Forgiveness and compassion are lacking in our society. A good place to change this is parenting children what is important.

Yeah, er that’s not how ordinary 3yr olds process information. If that’s all it took then there’d be a simple guide to raising kids, and all siblings would turn out the same - which they don’t. Keep studying neurology though, maybe *you’ll* learn something.
