More Customisation, maybe the ability to buy a workshop to add certain stuff. Customisation of interior, abandoned and enterable ships for loot. Ability to buy more trucks/machines that you need for certain new jobs. Ability to buy a home with customisation (this home would need a purpose, maybe a place to add rare objects, rest up for a stat boost etc)
i would love if they added a log book of sorts. make it so we have to manage time a bit more. they should also add rest stops throughout the sectors we have a bed make it usable.
They are doing great, considering they are 2/3 people ❤ It's absolutely not easy to create a pure trucking game set in space and make it entertaining...they did it and this alone speaks volumes. Way to go guys!
I'm having so much fun with this game. I'm almost finished with the storyline missions. I am currently on hardcore mode with 40 hours played, r24 with $90k in the wallet and a fully upgraded truck. I'd say the first 25hrs was spent being broke, slowly upgrading and saving up so I could run the missions and get the Scanner unlocked from my girl Moon Baby ♥. I plan to grind out 100% achievements and full upgrades unlocked before calling it a finished game, but I am loving just running around with a Semi in space.
Im wanting the multi trailer ability lets us do what many of us assumed that it was used for, hooking up trailers from multiple contracts and do multiple deliveries. and adjust payment to multi trailer missions to actually pay more to reflect the fact you're hauling additional trailers.
Multiple trailer jobs stack best with multiple certifications. You can make a lot of bonus money this way. For example: Just in Time, Fragile, Heavy, and Valuable. The initial pay might not seem like much, but you will get bonus money. Your experience will be through the roof! I would recommend this approach if you are skill point farming.
I love Star Trucker, I´m having so much fun. So far the only bug I have had is the drop zone one where you can´t get the drop zone border to turn green no matter how you place the trailer, thought I have heard some ppl state you just have to unhitch the trailer inside the border and then attach the trailer again and that can sometime fix the problem but other than that It´s smooth flying
I was thinking about this last night. I really enjoy this game, but I don't think mouse and keyboard are the optimal controllers. I think HOTAS, like you mentioned, and VR would be excellent. Also, I have experienced some weird collision effects. I would be crossing a system outside of any of the highways and doing my best to dodge rocks when all of a sudden I would be flung off course, my hull would go from 100 to critical and I would be spinning around like I just went full speed into a sign
why not ? ALL of truck movements are with keyboard only. HOTAS would replace only space, a s d w q e. Immersion, maybe. But you would need mouse and keyboard for on-foot movement and space walk.
Driving the truck would be a lot easier with hotas, you'd use less fuel because you're not going too fast and then having to brake, and you could maintain a constant speed without the cruise control. As for space walking or just walking around the truck it wouldn't be difficult at all. Joystick replaces wasd, and throttle is space/shift. Left and right click could be the triggers on each piece. I think it would be easier than mouse and keyboard
Ive been personally going between Mnk & controller which does feel better than Mnk but thats my personal preference. That being said, HOTAS would be great but lets let them cook with it first.
When you say it's a 3 person dev team some of the terrible design decisions make more sense. Overall it's a pretty well made game but just in time jobs are unbearable and unfun, and there are major glitches that can soft lock a save. Also the delivery bay that has collisions enabled is pretty frustrating. I also have issues with hitting rocks while jumping between sectors. And I have no idea why or how they settled on the price for air filters and power cells, it requires players to extensively work just to be able to keep their truck operating.
Hopefully fixes for the bugs that have caused me to lose shipments, and go into debt 4 times. I have to avoid entire areas because of these bugs, like Darkside which has a drop off point with an invisible wall around the bay. If you get that bay, your SOL
So they haven't even addressed the Dusty Bear bug that has effected over 90% of players who have made it beyond half way through the game? A hot fix needs to come out ASAP for that, because normal players are starting to hit it and reviews are starting to sour. (A lot of streamers have stopped playing the game due to the bug even.)
yes! i really wish i could translate up, down, left and right and with hotas support that would be a neat feature and this would also make lining up with trailers or station so much better
Power cells and air should be rechargeable while in dock. At some point you should be able to buy modifications like a APU to burn fuel for recharging cells even if you have to manually remove and place cells to be charged. I would love to see at some point to see at great cost replacing parts of your rig so you don't have to worry about power cells any more for those systems.
You know when I first played the demo during Steam Nextfest at the start of the year I honestly thought they were if you put them in containers, sadly wishful thinking but a rechargable container would be quite a neat way of doing it.
Just address the repair costs. I like the difficulty of the game, its a good challenge, but it's soul destroying when debris in a stupid place, like near a docking port or one of the ai vehicles rams you and you are set back to square one with a 3000+ bill
@@peterprow6093 When you start the game you can choose the difficulty and one of them is called "custom" where you can change a lot of parameters including the cost of maintenance and repair!:D

@@glareicebutts1423honestly I’m not complaining. If it’s just me then I have no problem restarting. I see they have big plans for this game so I may just wait. I didn’t know up until today that the dev team is only 2 people. So I guess I’m in a holding pattern.

I want to see store stocks so big you have to scroll.
Agreed, No question here.
I want to see a cargo net for the racks.
Co op would so sick! Some form of multiplayer 🤞🏻
I want to customize the inside of my truck.

Using the bed to pass time and or save game.
Dock at a station and go in and have a drink with my fellow truckers.
This would be great. Like a mix of sea of thieves and the division

You will hear no complaints from me! Seeing how two dudes put this together and it works, it is awesome and its fun..
Maybe more variety of trucks?
Enjoying the game so far, but somethings we need in star trucker is square pig loads and longer intergalactic highways etc.
I need my john canyon cabover
Need filters to stop consuming when docked

Lower the price of air filters would be my biggest request
scavenge
I want an AI buddy that will do tasks like take over driving, going out and fixing those darn hull breaches, etc. I mean, there's two beds...
There is only one bed. The other space is a work bench.
Do you want an idle game?
Maybe magnetic shelves and magnetic containers…so I don’t have to clean and reorganize the shelves when I run into something by accident!
This would be great when scrap hunting in the Enigma system
I like that. I have always said shelf straps, but I like the idea of magnetic shelf being a trade off for more power
Ooh, I like that! Gas bottles and large bins are a hassle so I usually avoid them, but if I could just draw a little more power to keep them secure...
Rework the consumables pricing. The air filters are killing me!
No, they're saving you!!
