Many years ago, I wrote a paper at university with the thesis that National Socialism was a religion meant to replace Christianity. The title of that paper: The Crooked Cross.
Can it be accessed? I study and research religious policy and repression under various totalitarian regimes. And one of the episodes of this, was the "Kirchenkampf" in Nazi Germany, aka the Nazi clash and persecution of the Christian Churches...
@@robertfreid2879 I would like to go have a look and see if I have still a copy. I was a mere undergraduate and I missed the Gnostic angle (I described it more in terms of pagan revivalism-which, I see now, is an inferior thesis). Nevertheless; I’m curious myself how much of what I wrote might inform Tik’s perspective. I’ll have a look as see if I can get it scanned and posted.
As long as we understand that Gnosis isn't a codified religious doctrine that needs to be taught or passed on, but rather a philosophy derived from human reasoning and human limitations it makes sense. People from different backgrounds can independently reason their way into this position without a common thread other than their own nature.
I sort of agree, but we do have evidence of one group of gnostics influencing other people or even breaking away and creating their own branches, so it's not like these individuals are randomly coming to this conclusion.
Wouldn't it be better described as a philosophy built on defiance of reasoning and limitations of the world we see and experience under the premises of escaping "imprisonment"?
Make sense to me. But there is this whole cosmology with Jaldabaoth etc. Still I have the feeling that it Infekts institutions as well as other heresies and ideologies, transform them and poses as them while being something completely different on the inside. Like a virus or mad cow disease.
I think within a gnostic group, it definitely is a specific doctrine that's being shared between believers. However, between various gnostic groups the only common thread is the belief in some esoteric secret that only the group knows - what that secret may be is no more important than what's in the briefcase in Pulp Fiction
@@shangri-la-la-la Some people argue that philosophy is religion, and I'm currently leaning in that direction. I didn't mention it in the video (I intend to in the near future), but there is a book people recommended me called "The Cause of Hitler's Germany" by Peikoff. I'm about half way through and it's absolutely amazing so far. But Peikoff describes it as the philosophy of Platonism, which is basically a religion. He doesn't mention the Gnosticism, but knowing the argument about Gnosticism, I think it enhances Peikoff's argument, and Peikoff enhances my argument too. So I would recommend you and others to check out the book.
In the German language, all nouns begin with a capital letter, so nothing can be concluded from the initial upper case of ‘Creation’ or any other noun.
@@deriznohappehquite No, they would be typing like this instead. Since it's only Nouns, Names, etc. which we write big. Obviously, the Beginning of a Sentence as well, just like in English.
The translators obviously know this. Why would they then capitalize the word Creation in English? Because they infer from context that Hitler means to communicate the religious capital C creation (probably "Schöpfung"). So it's the opinion of the translator. If the translator is correct, TIK's argument is not defeated by your objection.
In my understanding, the Freemasons are also fundamentally Gnostic in religion. Even Luciferian. The Nazi religion is basically the same. Hence the Gnostics also don’t like each other then, apparently. A Freemason, who tried unsuccessfully to recruit me, explained that Freemasons were also persecuted under Nazism. Just trying to understand that more - as they have a lot in common.
I've been to various rabbit holes of hidden information for several years and I've come to conclusion that Hitler and the co. were high degree freemasons. They "used" many aspects freemasons have been using. For example Gematria. The initials of Heinrich Himmler or "Heil Hitler" are HH = 88 a well known freemasonic number along with 33 ... well, they came to power in 1933... Hitler himselg shares initials with Hiram Abiff - The legendary hero of Freemasons. a couple of buildings in Germany built during the Nazi era, have hidden (sometimes not so hidden) twin pillars (boaz & jachin), most notably Olympiastadion in Berlin. etc etc. many little "coincidences" like these
The individual Gnostic sects each seemingly believe that it is their own particular order that is the destined light bearer. The others would likely be seen as imposters.
I'm glad to know that James Lindsay's arguments are starting to gain traction in the public sphere and others are able to start building off them. Phenomenal stuff here!

This only scratching the surface, TIK didn't (and doesn't have the time too) elaborate on any of the seemingly shocking claims made by the characters being investigated. For example, where do you think they got the idea that Jesus wasn't an Israelite, but in fact a child of a Roman soldier from? I promise you they didn't just make it up and I can point to a very well accepted and valid source (that doesn't mean the source is correct, I'm just saying they didn't make it up, it is a legitimately ancient idea)
@@american_cosmic The Talmud. It is the widest accepted view on the matter. It often refers to Jesus as simply "Pantera" or "Son of Pantera" which is taken from thier opinion that Jesus was in fact the illegitimate child of a Roman soldier named Tiberius Julius Abdes Pantera. The "pantera" is known to of been a common name for Roman soldiers. Typically vetrans who has ascended the ranks and become a standard bearer whom I'm sure you've seen in movies, the Roman wearing an animal skin ontop of his helmet and shoulders, often a Wolf or Bear, but in Asia was also often a Lion or large cat, hence the name Pantera, meaning Panthera, the cat family. The Talmud states this to be the truth of the matter, I'm not saying this is true, or that the Talmud has any more idea what it's talking about than the Bible, but the Talmud is accepted as being a 4th century text, so at least as old as the modern biblical canon. I don't know its Hitler got his theory from this source, I imagine he got his theory from other scholars writings one of which most likely at some point would of read this information in the Talmud. I don't know if there are other sources that claim this same theory, I know it is widely known in Jewish tradition so it may have been known in Germany as a folk tale. But this is a legitimate ancient text that explains why and considers Jesus to be, the Son of a Roman soldier. A veteran Roman soldier at that. And get this, Tiberius Julius Abdes Pantera...was real, they have his grave stone, it was discovered in Germany in 1859, it is believed he was born in Lebanon and died in Germany. Wether he was was the father of God, you tell me. There is apparently good evidence that his legion was almost certainly not in Judea or Galilee at the time of Jesus birth, but maybe that's just to keep the Christians happy. No one said anything about weekend trips out of town, maybe a visiting back home to Lebanon to see his mum, and then a night out just a couple miles down the road in Galilee.
He believed in his own will as God's Will, and he was conscious of the separation between his own complex personal beliefs, and what he was proselytizing the German people to. He seemed to believe in a kind of re-theised Nietzscheanism. He saw himself as a Great Man of history, like Napoleon Bonaparte or Frederick the Great; and figures who fill the boots of mythical kings and national heroes who came before, like Frederick Barbarossa or Martin Luther or Odin. He drew on every national-mythical thread to create a cohesive whole, a new idea.
If you look at how other religions were founded, such as Mormonism, it certainly checks out. Nearly all religions have borrowed heavily from prior mythology, because the human brain responds positively to patterns and heavy emotions are drawn from thinking that one understands a cohesive whole.
I'd also like to add that when someone like Hitler or Goebbels is talking about "races" - there's a lot of conceptual polysemy going around. Normal polysemy is when a word has different meanings in different contexts (i.e: "I'm going to play outside." vs. "I'm going to see a play tonight."). Conceptual polysemy does this with the concepts, i.e: "race" meaning one's skin color vs. "race" meaning . In the Nazi case, influenced by Helena Blavatsky, "races" are a *spiritual* thing. "Aryans" become the "Fourth Root Race" (if you're wondering, according to Blavatsky / theosophy, we're currently in the Fifth Root Race, and apparently Atlanteans are one of the earlier ones, if I'm not misreading the craziness). So, when the average German was hearing "race", they're thinking, well, Germans, and Poles, and Romanians and Jews and so on, but the actual Nazi? They're thinking of all this weird gnostic cult "spiritual race" stuff. How would you get Gunter the farmer to believe the guy at the head of the government is talking about "spirit races"? That'd be nonsense, no one is that crazy, certainly not the leader of Germany! Hegelian Dialectic at work: take two things which are not the same (race defined on biological terms and race defined in the cult 'spiritual race' styling), see them as the same the same in kind, but different in degree, and conflate, conflate, conflate, conflate... until the war ends, and the German citizens tell you they were caught in a spell. Turns out, they weren't exactly lying.
You're correct. I'll be discussing this sort of thing an upcoming video because I discovered something else that's similar to the "races = spiritual" idea.
Why then were they measuring skulls and trying to find scientific (as in physical instead of metaphysical) evidence for their racial beliefs? Or was that just propaganda for the uninitiated masses?
@@TheImperatorKnight It really depends on which ideology is doing the talking. It seemingly always comes back to the Marxist "species being" definition because it's so amorphous: if deaf people are a species, and fat people are a species, and spiritual races are a species... two guys in a van in Newark who like eating pudding naked can be a 'species', then it just depends on what kind of story you weave around your 'species' as long as it's driven by gnosis. Alexander Dugin has been pushing, if memory serves, a more sociological/ethnicity (cultural based) "race" definition recently, thus "The Russian people". Sigh. Ignorance really was bliss :) Keep up the fantastic work!
@@shukuffxi Did you Marx saw his writing of Communism as a new world religion? The original title of the first draft of the Manifesto was, "The Communist Confession of Faith", and he and Engels referred to it as a catechism. Hitler was no doubt influenced by Socialism on a spiritual level. Because it's not just "like" a religion, it overtly confesses itself to be a religion.
I would love to see you explore more into the gnosticism and hermeticism that could be at play in other figures. My contention is that these two religions are hidden and woven throughout cultures around the world in massive ways.
Hermeticism isn't a religion, it's a sort of philosophy or or ancient wisdom and set of principles that has been passed down since at-least ancient Egypt. One could argue, it is the Jungian Shadow common to our culture, and to the cultures of nearly all civilizations of the last few thousand years. It is the understanding which spawns cults, religions and movements-- for that reason, it is 'taboo' to discuss. Which is why it has always been shrouded in mystery to the dominant 'culture'. Grasps of it's principles can be found within the books of Abraham, as well as The New Testament. Hermeticism played a role in the development of both Sethian Gnostic Christianity, and even the 27 canonical books of The Bible, which has obscured them far better than many of the texts of The Nag Hammadi scriptures (for example).
@@Ban_Helmers When I say 27 canonical books, I am referring to the New Testament. When I say the books of Abraham, I am referring to The Torah, or the first five books of The Old Testament. What told me them? History. The concept of heresy was first created in the late 2nd century AD by bishop Irenaeus; he commanded much of the church to destroy many variations of the gospels which were appearing all throughout the first and second century. His successors and fellow bishops continued that practice of controlling the circulating gospels; until the late 4th century AD, when the 27 books of our modern New Testament, were made cannon. This is known as the Nicene Creed. If you think that's ridiculous or hogwash; why not research it yourself? Nothing I say here is to detract from Christianity. I'm a Christian, and my faith is unmovable-- put your trust in God, not man and his doctrines. How else will the Christ within us come about once more? It certainly will not when ruled by fear; because Fear begets ignorance. Love begets knowledge. They each beget one another.
When I first read ‘even reach Spheres that lie outside the earth’, I had to read it a few times. My original thinking was Hitler wanted the German people to conquer the planet then the universe. I found it absolutely fascinating that it was written so long ago.
Thank you, TIK for all your herculean efforts to fully disclose the truths found in recorded History. I appreciate your focus, and tenacity. Please stay safe, and well. From your friends of London, Ontario, Canada.
My wife just caught a minute of this, from about minute 21, and she was convinced! These Hitler quotes are extremely helpful in putting down the silly belief that Hitler was a Christian.
The greatest man that ever lived. Meanwhile ww2 vets mystery meat great grandkids that hate their white great grandfather; are twerking in front of drag Queens at public libraries... yeah Hitler was definitely the bad guy
Great video! Interesting parallels, but I do not believe Hitler was full-on gnostic, since it makes more sense to me that he and his worldview were influenced by gnostic writings of Chamberlain. Also when you were listing Hitler's quotes about Germans becoming decent again and returning to the belief in God, he was most certainly referring to Nazis stopping moral decadence and sexual deviancy in Weimar Republic, which was thoroughly documented in a book titled Voluptuous Panic. Nazis were known for burning sexually deviant books like that of Freud and Hirschfeld.
Also, he blames freemasonry and the jews for being behind the war because he believes in the judeo-masonic conspiracy; he believes they are connected. This is in parallel with the "Protocols of the elders of Zion".
At best Hitler was a Gnostic Christian. This video and the last video presents a false dichotomy by painting a Gnostic vs Christian picture when it's really a Christian Gnosticism vs Nicaean Christianity picture. He also uses the word heresy a lot of but 'heresy' relative to what? In history when we talk about Christian "heresies" of the Middle Ages, they are heresies relative to the Catholic Church or Nicaean Christianity (first ecumenical council) or Chalcedonian Christianity (third ecumenical council). But we're in the modern day and throwing around the word "heresy" automatically means that he's not even attempting to look at religion in an objective manner. He's already gotten his version of "Christianity" and Christian Gnosticism is just Gnosticism to him and therefore not even Christianity, which he keeps reiterating.
@@whendoesitendprove what? Hitler and NSDAP were Christians. All nationalist movements are connected to cultural nationalism from German romanticism. Religion is a central part for all nationalist movements, this being Christianity in its different form. This movement only emerged as a countermovement against Marxism and their philosophical framework against national culture and Christianity. The Bolsheviks promoted all types of sexual immorality, sexual decadence, art decadence and several movements to destroy natural culture, either in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal or other communist attempts of takeover either by orthodox Marxists or neo-Marxist/ cultural Marxists
It was a gnosticism of that era, and as James Lindsay has documented Hegel fused one version of gnosticism (the prison model) with (a, or some?) Hermeticism, and rolled it into his particular dialectic. The way I see it it's most likely that Hitler was familiar with the work of Hegel and Marx. And Marx of course had his own dialectically modified Dialectical materialism. So these things are never 1:1 due to time and differing opinions within what may be perceived as a monolithic Gnosticism and Hermeticism. But structurally and model wise it sure is the same operating system. It's just that the applications running on this OS can look remarkably different at first glance. And it's nothing compared to how brilliantly generic Critical Theory is. With that x'th generation cult everything can be "Marxified". I'm personally quite fond of James Lindsay's "Critical Car Theory".
Well it makes sense with the theosophist movement and other German movements of the time denying the Jewishness of Jesus and the Jewish origins of Christianity, claiming it was based from European paganism, because they wanted an aryan Jesus to control to their ideology. James crossly from the university of Sheffield has talked about this before
I mean a lot of Christianity did adopt European pagan holidays and maybe even beliefs. The Druidic faith had a Christos, a virgin mother, a resurrection, and the holidays the church celebrates are all Pagan Holidays… it’s pretty interesting when you look into it. Also there are no descriptions on Jesus’s appearance in the texts and the Pharisees always disliked Jesus because he was of Galilee. Ancient Galilee was a poor town that was a mix of different peoples. He could potentially have been a different race and that’s another reason the Pharisees possibly hated Jesus. Idk I just think it’s interesting how Jesus has been labeled as Jewish when there isn’t sufficient evidence to say he’s either one race or another.
@@riainmcclanahan916 His parents were literally Jewish. Jewish names, Jewish background, lived in a Jewish society. I'd like to know your sources on the Galilee being so mixed; everyone agrees that by Yoshke's (Jesus) time, the Galilee was majority Jewish, with maybe a few stray Greeks here and there. It's very easy to prove Yoshke was Jewish. It's difficult to prove otherwise.
@@ThomasMCGaming where are you getting his parents names from? The Bible? If so then I would argue that the information about Jesus from the Bible has little historical value in terms of its accuracy. The whole Jesus narrative has been completely adulterated by numerous writers. All of the coptic texts are looked at with great scrutiny from biblical scholars.
@Riain McClanahan Even though I'm sure the "New Testament" has been edited many times, that doesn't mean we can't assume information in it is 100% false. Just because it talks about Rome doesn't mean we can't assume Rome existed. Just because it says the sky is blue doesn't mean it can't be. And if you have a source that gives different, and very non-Hebrew names which contradict the NT, you should post it now. The NT is the only place that mentions Yoshke's parents' names. Meanwhile you haven't brought evidence to the contrary, but have only made mere speculation. Until we find names for his parents that contradict the NT Account, we have to assume that their names were Yosef and Miriam. Aside from that, you have to remember that Christianity first started as one amongst many renegade Jewish heretical sects that split from Judaism near the end of the Second Temple period. Why would *Jewish* authors create a saviour character that *wasn't* Jewish? Edit: Also, I have a hunch you are severly underestimating the historical value scholars attribute to the NT.
Apparently so but reading alone without the discipline of education and critical thinking can lead to false conclusions. In contemporary terms think of a guy doing “research” on the internet.
Hitler was a very open person (in the sense of being interested in aesthetics and ideas) so it's no wonder he would've read Hegel who was a philosophy super star in the 1800s.
Not from my point of view, but then we tend to think much of what we know as being obvious, which is not very fair. However, his not knowing the identity of the “prophet” who could see the promised land from afar off is telling. For the record he’s referring to Moses who was allowed to see the land but not enter (due to his sin in striking the rock). Deuteronomy 34:1-4
Thank you for the content you provide. I find it baffling that such a recent event such as WW2 appears to be more obfuscated and difficult to find answers about that make sense than very ancient history. But i suppose that is the nature of controversial topics. You do a great job and provide valuable insight
I don’t think the reason it’s obfuscated is because it’s controversial, I believe it’s obfuscated because they need the masses in our nation to only know the narrative of the events that serves their goals. Hitler speaks about race as much and as forcefully as those who identify as Js. Hitler is a globalist whose alleged events provided the basis and excuse for a religious group to obtain an entire country …in which case….isn’t it more likely that they are obfuscating that Hitler and that religious entity behind that new country worked for the same goal - to obtain the entire world.
I don't know about that, due to the influence of Christianity, when you try to research ancient Canaan, you pretty much just get the Bible being used as the one and only historical source, despite it obviously not being a historical source, and having been proven explicitly wrong on many historical accounts. Much of ancient history is a good as the mythology, its just lacking the monsters and gods. Unless you think Julius Caesar was 100% truthful when he wrote his own history of his own conquest of Gaul.
Interesting perspectives, thank you, in general it's more of a perceived feeling i have than a fact, ww2 feels like theres much less of an agreement of what actually happened in comparison, despite there being people still alive who were there at the time
@@yanmew I do agree with your sentiment, I only just said the same thing myself to my father the other day while watching the coronation "Often we can be more sure of ancient history than modern history, because all the lies of the ancient history have settled down and we can at least look for truth, but with the modern history the people who created the lies are still alive and still bloody lying." 😂 But what I said of ancient history is still true. Much of ancient history is almost certainly just made up and never happened, almost all of it didn't happen in the way that the historical record has survived, but the dates and names and general locations are probabaly the closest to the truth. The best thing we can see from ancient history, is at least what was going through the minds of the people who wrote the history, not whether it was true or not. In this sense History is both an art and a science, if you don't have a good poetic sense about you (an ability to sus out when people are lying, and make logical and truthful dicernments), you'll learn nothing and just read nonsense other people have written down. Which is very much what you are finding happens with ww2 history.
Religions tend to be so poorly defined that the only proper non-contradictory way to classify people as members of a religion is by self-identification in my opinion. And unless he had explicitly stated that he is a gnostic I’d say that we shouldn’t classify him as such. It would be fair to say that he believed in something like Gnosticism through.
Before it is dismissed, we need to see the quote as written in original German. The word used originally will determine if it is capitalized in English or not. It's all in how well the translation was done.
Interesting how that little twisted monster considered the fall of the Aryan nations an age of barbarians when the Romans considered the Germanic tribes barbarians. Also the Germans considered themselves highly cultured and advanced but a mere couple thousand years ago they were living in huts and run by chiefs with nothing to show of the advancement close to the Romans. When the Romans had aqua ducts , ships, the city of Rome. And on and on.
Hitler started out as an altar boy where he became fascinated by the swastika carved above the altar. So he started asking questions which religion it came from and found a Gnostic connection. Either way, nazism has religious rather than atheist roots. Great research Tik!
So far, what you're saying tracks with what I have been reading in "The Occult Roots of Nazism" by Nicholas Goodrick-Clark. I'd love to see more on this topic, including possible counter arguments. Good stuff, sir. 👍
Why study ignorance when you can have true knowledge? ("The Book of GOD" can be read in only 5 minutes, but will give you an education that you couldn't get from an entire library of books.) Richard Weikart's excellent 2017 book, "Hitler's Religion: The Twisted Beliefs that Drove the Third Reich", goes excellently into detail about Hitler's religious beliefs and Nazi religious policy toward the Churches in general. Written partially as a result of New Atheism-Christian debates in the 2000s and 2010s amid cheap-shots about Christianity and atheism/evolution/materialism lobbed by each side. The book is a great addition to the study of the Kirchenkampf (Nazi policy toward Christianity and the Churches).
Thanks for the recommendation! I have already got that book on my reading list, and it is a priority. People have recommended so many books that it's going to take me months to get through them!
@@TheImperatorKnight In this book you will learn that he was NOT a gnosticist, he was a pantheist, he does not think that nature is inherently evil, he thinks nature is god... and that alignes pretty well with darwinism and evolutionary ethics, gnosticism on the other hand doesn't
I suggested this exact book on the previous video about this topic! It's an excellent book, and I recommend it. Hitler followed Blavatsky and Theosophy. His concept of race was the theosophical root race concept. He believed atlantean was a race as well. When hitler said Aryan - he didnt mean it as a non-theosophist would. Hitler's gnosticism was Blavatskyan Gnosticism which was more of a syncretic global buffet mish mash of religions - not just a Christian gnosticism
18:24 Why? Because he believed in his own destiny. He genuinely believed he had been chosen by the Almighty to lead the German Volk out of its misery and take it to new heights of power. His calling came when he was at the Pasewalk military hospital and heard of Germany's capitulation.* Even before that he had the feeling that he was being protected by supernatural forces, because everybody around him would die in the battles of WWI, but he was spared time after time, which made him think that Providence had big plans for him. There is one particular instance where a voice ordered him to leave the trench at once, and just as he did, a bomb landed inside it, killing everyone. * Note: It is important to point out that Hitler was being treated at this hospital after suffering from temporary blindness caused by a gas attack, and that it was in this context that he received his calling or revelation. Curiously, Saul of Tarsus, which Hitler thoroughly despised, also suffered from blindness after the Lord appeared to him on the road to Damascus, and this experience set him on an entirely different life course. No one can tell with absolute certainty if these were mental phenomena (hallucinations), if both men had similar supernatural experiences, or if one experienced a true revelation while the other was being guided by dark forces.
"Understand totally by understanding totality." - GOD. All is fated. ("Indeed, even all of the hairs on your head are numbered." - JC) No matter who you are or what you do, you are fulfilling Destiny, which is literally GOD's plan. But this won't make sense to you until you know EXACTLY why you are here, experiencing this realm of limitation. ("I am teaching you to associate misery with the ego and joy with Spirit." - GOD) And that information has finally been revealed. Gnosticism simply means beliefs that are based on personal experience and reasoning. And the selfish human EGO is what the Bible calls "the devil" and "satan" and a host of other terms (the serpent, the beast, the prince of this world, the god of this world, the anti-Christ). @@tomrhodes1629 Hitler was not a satanist, he was a Christian, and he was not a socialist, but the leader of a right-wing nationalist movement. There are many people like him in the US, many indeed.
This feels like a stretch. All the evidence provided in favour of your argument seems like you're working backwards. You have a conclusion already, Hitler was a gnostic and hated Christianity, and you're interpreting the evidence in a way that supports your conclusion, even though most of it can be explained in a way that would not support your conclusion if you didn't come in with pre-conceived ideas of what that evidence should lead to. There are some quotes that would be a stretch in the other direction, like how can you explain that without linking it to gnosticism, but those are few. Also you contradicted yourself when you said the National Socialists hate Christianity because Christ was a Jew (in the last video I believe), and then quoted Hitler himself saying that he thought Christ was not a Jew, and Chamberlain saying that Christ was actually awoken to the true God by an Aryan Nature cult.
It depends on the Nazi. Hitler thought Christianity was an updated Judaism, so he despised it for that reason. However, at the same time, he and Chamberlain said that Christ was Aryan. But Chamberlain had different views to Hitler, so it starts getting complicated, and this is why it's difficult to paint a broad brushstroke (like I did last time) because one Nazi thinks one thing, and another thinks something else.
Gnosticism seems to be defined with quite a broad stroke here. Divine revelation for instance - which was used to justify some of the quotes between the two videos as being gnostic - is a core part of the abrahamic tradition. Gnosis is supposed to be a more intimate form of knowledge, regarding the nature of the highest God (or the highest God possible to have gnosis of; as far as I’m aware, The Pronoia/Berbelo is a being some Gnostics thought/think is not actually the one God but the closest thing a soul can hope to understand). Meanwhile, claims about receiving plain old information about the future or anything else is cheap as chips and made by tonnes of people who don’t seem to believe that their divine spark was ripped from the Fullness of God and trapped in a meat-prison by a sadistic serpent. Still, it was nice to hear TIK’s thoughts
Not only was Jesus not a jew, there was no such thing as the jewish race in his time. The jews led out of Egypt by Moses were of varied descent. What we know of as "jews" today are simply Mongol Turk barbarian stock that adopted the religion centuries later.
@@TheImperatorKnight Aryan, much like any word in the dictionary, has different definitions. When "AH and Chamberlain" said that Christ was Aryan, he was referring to the word that he preached and the examples he portrayed to the people.. examples that were meant to lead the people to a new way of life and a way of life observant of God's word. Aryan can be used as an epithet to describe oneself as cultured, noble, and/or respectable. Did you read Churchill's article about Jews and their love for revolutions? Such as the Bolshevik revolution? On the point of your claim that AH viewed Christianity as an "updated" Judaism and despised it, I could not help but notice the complete ignorance. He did not despise it nor did he view it as an "updated Judaism." There are speeches after speeches by AH that is pro-Christianity. There are articles of his where you can read him talking about Jesus and God. Not one speech have I listened to by AH or anyone in the NS party espouse Gnostic nonsense. Especially the nonsense that AH believed Germans (or "Aryans") were the master race as the pseudo-intellectuals love to claim. You take quotes from this man and simply manipulate what he was conveying and using that manipulation as your evidence. The man is dead. It is amazing to me how people continue to speak on AH as if they knew the man on a personal level and have the final say of what he meant, what religion he was, whether he was really left wing or right wing, whether he was Communist or Soc. It gets quite old. There are plenty of speeches and articles by the man that completely debunk your "further evidence" that is really nothing but "This is what I think, so this is evidence." PS: AH wanted to take over the world? You base this off of your interpretation of AH's views? Because you claim he was "Gnostic"? Laughable. He was not looking to take over the world. He was only focused on the German people. The actual world empires didn't want his influence reaching their people so they did what they have done for the past 300+ (before WWII).... wage wars and call it a "struggle for religion" and "freedom." As they were actively oppressing others.
'Gnosis' literally means 'with knowledge'. And this is a new one with this never-ending speculation and obsession with this man. Hitler was a part of a cult. It was a cult that likes to play with their own terminology like this as part of its manipulation, and unfortunately this cult is still very much in existence today.
(reposting from your previous video) Corrections 1) The new testament attacks Gnosticism in several passages. Canonical New Testament is consistent with Old Testament (Orthodox Judaism) as opposed to Non-canonical (Gnostic) gospels. 2) Gnostics misinterpret Paul and Jhon but clearly Paul and Jhon attacked Gnosticism 3) Catholicism clearly has some gnostic ideas to this day which explains why they persecuted jews for centuries. (However all of these is not easy to distinguish given the parasitic nature of Gnosticism) 4) The origin of Gnosticism is in Babylon but probably a form of it today is Budism (depending how broad is your definition) 5) Puritans were not Gnostic, they were orthodox Christians. Do not confuse Strong Christian faith / dogmatism and strong morals with Gnosticism. Puritans founded Harvard and promoted Science, clearly not gnosticism 6) Modern Science comes from orthodox Christian/Jew/Biblical principles and both are the perfect antagonists/antidote to Gnosticism in all its modern forms (Nazism, Marxism, Woke)
Very interesting, I'm pretty convinced, and this lines up incredibly well with other random stuff that's been popping up about the Aryans and prehistoric cultures in general. I would continue on this thread, I think you are on to something pretty big
If i had a nickel for every time a man named Chamberlain enabled Hitler i would have 2 nickels, which isn't much, but it's wwird that it happenned twice
One aspect of Hitler's religiosity you've missed is his emphasis on works, which can include enlightenment, to earn acceptance by his "God." This also suggests he was not referring to the Christian God, Jesus Christ. Christianity teaches that good works come from faith in Christ's substitutionary (redemptive) work on the cross. Faith in one's good works or gnosis ignores Jesus's death and resurection on behalf of humanity. It renders it moot at best and elevates man above Christ.
This is what we get by TIK getting off Stalingrad? I love this! TIK, your work is extremely well-resourced and done, and I can see why you felt that this might be a bit more important today. Hope you're feeling better, with the change of topics.
I love all your videos, and I’m very happy to watch this one and finally make my first comment , since I’ve been quite interested on this topic for a while. The fact that people that are into Gnosticism usually use as reference Carl Jung, who wrote some mentions on Gnosticism, as well as occult books about the “Thule Gesellschaft”, the “Vril society” of Maria Orsic (which is previous to national socialism but later highjacked by it, if you will), as well as the history of the Cathars from French Languedoc who, according to the myth were exterminated by the crusaders for being gnostics themselves, shows that there certainly is a connection. If I’m not wrong, this is as ancient as early Christianity and was practiced secretly throughout history. My take is that the books and stories may be similar, but yet the interpretation varies (as some gnostics claim Satan and Lucifer being made the same entity, as a form of deception, when in reality, lucifer, the light bearer , manifested in earth to free humanity from the spiritual Chaining of materialism), and the ideas of Agatha and Shamballa which can by some represent both spirit and soul, two attributes also mixed by Christians, as a “form of deception”. All these re-emerged in the 1800s having a renaissance period if you wish, with Madame Blavatsky, and Gurdjeff. Thanks a lot for this video! I really look forward to more and reading the comment section to get some cool references for books, as I’ve already done.

At the time that Hitler was growing up, the Germans called their head of state "the All Highest" including with that capitalization. German academia had a rich culture of gnostic mysticism which was amplified by being invaded by the supposed representative of Enlightenment Reason in the person of Napoleon Bonaparte.
I'm just a layman, so take this with a grain of salt. Having looked I to gnosticism and it's teachings(out of curiosity) I find that Hitler's beliefs more resembled theocracy (which is a form of gnosticism imho) the whole Aryan shit and Jesus not being a Jew and providence, are direct links to theocracy. And if there are people that don't think Hitler was not religious hasn't put enough effort into the story. He sought the acceptance of the church and disowned the church at the same time. Just my two very cheap cents from hobby historian 😊. Really good vid man, subbed
the nag hammadi library litterally was dug up from a 2000 year slumber right after he died. he has nothing to do with gnosticism and you're bad at religious history and are appropriating the mystic tradition for your sophistic ends.
Hey TIK, been enjoying your stuff for quite a while. I was wondering if you had read or seen Nietzsche the Nazis by Stephen Hicks. He touches on some of the stuff you’re talking about here, but I don’t believe I’ve ever heard you bring Nietzsche into things. There’s an audiobook on RUclips for it, but a DVD with better visual aids is out there as well. Anyway, Hicks is talking about Nazism as a spiritual endeavor in pursuit of what Nietzsche calls the ubermench, or over man. You may not agree with his position entirely, but I think you’d enjoy it.
@@juanmccoy3066 I’m pretty sure I’ve seen all of TIKs material and I don’t recall seeing anything about what I’m talking about. It’s about looking at Nazism through a philosophical lens, and how it was urged upon Germans as a spiritual endeavor, which would lead us to Gnosticism.
Yes, Nietzsche is one who provides the intellectual seed for NAZI-ism (which is the same as satanism). Because, that seed is self-will; the belief that the EGO is in control. In another comment thread you mention that various gnostic religious ideas influenced each other across time especially for gnostic ideas that get rather specific, ive heard a lot of stuff about the connections of the original gnostics, the bogomils and the cathars and a few others, wondering if theres any evidence either hitler or chamberlain would have come into contact with and been influenced by these ideas and which prior gnostic sect would be most like the development of nazism as gnosticism? Also, side note, your hitler voice is very funny but i get why you read it and it makes it way more accessible to listen to. Not a criticism, obvi you arent trying to be a voice actor here just thought it must be funny to have a 'hitler voice' lined up.

Indeed, if people read the books of the Old Testament as containing only that approved by God, or other modern reading of a very ancient text written for an ancient reader.
Yes, one who is wise will admit to himself that it is impossible to completely reconcile the GOD of the Old Testament with the GOD of Jesus Christ - which is the True GOD. The first Christianity was the Christianity of the Apostles, who directly criticized the early gnostics in the New Testament itself. Every pope that dealt with gnosticism wanted it stamped out because the belief that mankind can make a better world than God consistently ends with piles of corpses.

It's amazing to be that such a well known and influencial figure's ideas and motives aren't crystal clear by now.. I mean it's not like Hitler lived 1000 years ago and there has to be a bunch of guesswork done. This should be well documented and should have been studied in depth right after the war.
Its because the people who was sent to investigate and study this events after the fact werent there to find what was true or factual but to cover the behind of their respective ideas or philosophies least their oponents found some correlation to them
It is because Americans are involved. They are only capable to understand and act upon Donald Duck style narratives about an evil Dictator who wants war and eats babies for breakfast, they currently draw the same picture of president Putin. The fact that within three years after the end of WW2 they needed endless billions to arm themselves against the same opponent Hitler was waging war on, may also have required a simplified explanation.
@@floridaman318 We've been fighting the Gnostics for a long time, John the Apostle does it in 1 and 2 John, but sometimes those who claim the name of Jesus, who are still condemned, subscribe to Gnostic doctrine which discerns them from the faith for which they are condemned for. The original concept of the Gnostic religion that Gnosticism comes from is called Dualism.
I have just completed watching your video on Hitler’s Gnosticism. I thought it was excellent, and like you, I always thought of Hitler as a pagan who invoked God in his speeches for political purposes. Your video convinces me he was a Gnostic and not a Pagan. However, in your presentation I think you made some errors that need to be corrected. For one thing I believe you confuse the Apocryphon with the Apocrypha, which are two different books. The Apocryphon was a Gnostic book written about 180 AD, at least 80 years after the death of St John the Apostle, and was falsely attributed to him. The Gnostics had a habit of doing this with several second century writing such as the Gospel of Mary and the Gospel of Judas. I have not read the Apocryphon, but I have read all of John’s conical writing (The Gospel of John, his three epistles, and the Apocrypha, aka Book of Revelations) numerous times and nowhere does he claim that Eve had sex with the serpent. In fact, his gospel was among other things a refutation of Gnosticism. In the introduction he made the statement “the Logos was made flesh.” Which opposed the Gnostic belief that Christ was spirit only appearing to be human. Also, St Paul was no Gnostic, but many of his statements when taken out of context could be misused by the Gnostics. And they probably were.
Start with the wikipedia article on theosophical "root race" to understand Hitler's concept of race. It wasnt even his concept - he was a Theosophist - he was in the wizard's circle of Helena Blavatsky.
Just receiving knowledge from a higher power is not special to Gnosticism. However the revalation of hidden knowledge thats not meant for everyone to hear IS.
"The Holy Grail is Found," and I authored a book with that title. And yes, it was found through gnosticism. Gnosticism simply means beliefs that are based on personal experience and reasoning. How would Hitler have known about Gnosticism? The Nag Hammadi library wasn't discovered until 1945. There were some anti-heretiical texts before that but it was pretty limited.
The same could be asked of Helena Blavatsky, or the Free Masons. How did they discover Gnosticism prior to 1945? As I showed in the Aryan Religion video, we have a lot of evidence of an occult heritage that culminated in the Thule Society and then the Nazi Party. So it's highly probable that they got this stuff from previous groups of Gnostics.
Guess what: religious ideas are hard codes into reality. Even if people don't have access, the variables of life and death are still the same, so of course people come up with Gnosticism around the early age of Christianity (Christianity is not gnosticism! Gnosticism is a heresy in Christian eyes) and today
I agree Goodman, a conclusion I've come to over the many years of delving into the histories on all Germandom-- profane, esoteric or otherwise. A fountain of rabbitholes those Holy Romans do indeed shed. ;)
How about a true prophet of GOD's take on these subjects? Would that suffice? Theosophy was correct in many areas, but intellectualizing corrupts true concepts. And Blavatsky overly-intellectualized to a degree that made simple truths seem complex and out of reach. Crowley, on the other hand, not only overly-intellectualized, but also took the irrational fork in the road that takes one the opposite direction of Truth. If you haven't already, look up Ariosophy and the Order of the Black Sun. This was a weird mix between pagan themes, cabbala, alchemy and what not and was basically the secret "pagan" cult of the nazi elite, although I remember reading somewhere that Hitler himself wasn't much of a fan of the cult. I believe it was led by Himmler

You did a great job TIK on this topic. Thanks for the exhaustive treatment. I guess we just have to make sure people understand that gnosticism is not really 'a' religion but rather a thought pattern. A set of eclectic theories about transcendental essence which is only accessible to and through a select group of people.
I think that was my problem with his first video; That the way TIK describes it, it sounds like a codefied doctrine secretly passed down, as opposed to a group of ideas that different groups have picked up. There are lots of "gnostic" splinter groups, and some of the early Christian heresies are well-documented (for the period) examples. But that doesn't mean Hitler was taking from the script as the Mandaens.
@@gurigura4457 Most of the "scripts" that TIK is seemingly referencing or talking as if he has them in mind, were only discovered after Hitler was dead.
@@Alfred5555 As in Gnostic texts like in the Dead Sea Scrolls, that sort of thing? I hadn't really considered that aspect. Regardless of how much gnostic text Hitler actually got his hands on, I think that gnostic ideas are broad & generic enough that he didn't need to. I've had this thought about the socialism videos, and its that TIK tends to broaden the definition of his terms so that everything fits. He's not *wrong*, and I tend to agree with his linking of concepts, but I think the insistance on trying to categorise everyone's ideology hurts his analysis. He tries to force National Socialism into the "box" of gnosticism, or make the box bigger, when he doesn't need to to conclude that Nazism was heavily influenced by ideas in that group.
@@gurigura4457 I mean the Nag Hammadi Library. Which yes is like the Dead Sea Scrolls of Gnosticism, it's the source of 90% of what we actually know about Gnosticism outside of one sided ancient debates that only include the refutations, or other medieval heresies that were just generally called "gnostic". The Nag Hammadi library was only discovered in December 1945. I actually was thinking during this video, "This is bad history". It feels like TIK is trying to hard to create a specific narrative here. In the same way he argues that National Socialism is Socialism not Fascism, he here is arguing that National Socialism was like a religion, and not Christian but Gnostic. Unlike how simple and easy it is to show that National Socialism is Socialism, the idea that it was a religion and specifically Gnostic in any conscious sense is very esoteric and practically unprovable. I do feel like he has bitten off more than he can chew, It seems like he doesn't know the origin of many of the ideas he is criticising Hitler for saying here, where as with his Socialism TIK could and did, take his claims seriously and investigate and just lay out the facts of why Hitler believed what he believed, he was wrong, but not stupid or illogical. Where as here I feel like TIK is becoming what he sought to destroy, after trying so hard to dispel the "mad man" myth, he's not representing Hitler as an unintelligible mad man. I feel like this is because TIK doesn't understand the background of these theories like he does Hitler's political and economic theories. I have said in other comments that although Hitler and other scholars didn't know what we know of Gnosticism, they seem to of attempted to organically recreate or rediscover the concepts of Gnosticism and other esoteric beliefs. Again, Hitler wasn't just making this stuff, these theories don't originate with him, it comes from ancient texts and esoteric readings, mostly of the bible, for example "God's chosen people", where in the Bible have we heard that before? It's nothing new. I was having the worrying thought that, TIK has said in other videos that until recently he was a socialist leftist, and that's why he feels its important to explain how National Socialism is Socialist, and that he is still pulling his head out of that Leftist mind set. Well it made me think, has TIK just gone from an NPC normie Leftist, to an NPC normie Rightist.
@@sitraahra4594 There's plenty. There was a rich Aryan Theosophical stream at the end of the 19th century which fed into the Nazi metaphysics. Not only did he provide references but he had many more to draw from.
@@robbpowell194 The whole idea of TIKs video is based on the premise that Gnosticism somehow evolved from a religion that rejects the world to a cult of an elite that can create heaven on earth. But no proof is given for this evolution. It turns the meaning of Gnosticism into its opposite. Of course AH was a millenarianist and maybe an Aryan Christian, but a Gnostic? No.
Hitler's religion was magic: he was an Ariosophist, a Theosophist, a magician who picked the things he believed based on how productive the ideas were. In your sources list is The Occult Roots of Nazism by Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke, a read that is highly enlightening on the subject. Also worth reading about Hitler's copy of 18th century magic textbook "Magic: History, Theory and Practice", of which he left dog-eared and widely underlined.
Hey Tik could you please do a breakdown on Carrol Quigleys Anglo -American Establishment and/or Tragedy and Hope, which he discusses a group fomred by Cecil Rhodes and lord milner with the goals of controlling british and American foreign policy and bringing America back under control of the British empire, thats an extremely broad explanation heres a bit from the wiki that does a better job of academically explaining his thesis than i would. “One distinctive feature of Quigley's historical writings is his assertion that the Round Table movement played a significant role in recent world history. His writing on this topic has made Quigley famous among many who investigate "conspiracy theories".[1]: 96, 98 Quigley and the Milner Group In his book The Anglo-American Establishment: From Rhodes to Cliveden (written in 1949 and published posthumously in 1981),[24] Quigley aims to trace the history of a secret society. The book uses no footnotes and does not show his sources( his source is a member of the milner group who he names) He focuses on the Round Table group founded in 1891 by Cecil Rhodes and Alfred Milner. Quigley argues that "The organization was so modified and so expanded by Milner after the eclipse of Stead in 1899, and especially after the death of Rhodes in 1902, that it took on quite a different organization and character, although it continued to pursue the same goals."[25] Quigley greatly admired the British Empire and lamented that the secret society was not very successful. Historian Robert Rotberg states: But Quigley was not opposed to what Rhodes and Milner had purportedly tried to accomplish. Indeed, Quigley wrote more in remorse at what had failed than in antagonism to what he believed were their mutual efforts at extending the British Empire,"[26] The society consisted of an inner circle ("The Society of the Elect") and an outer circle ("The Association of Helpers", also known as The Milner Kindergarten and the Round Table Group).[27] The society as a whole does not have a fixed name: This society has been known at various times as Milner's Kindergarten, as the Round Table Group, as the Rhodes crowd, as The Times crowd, as the All Souls group, and as the Cliveden set. ... I have chosen to call it the Milner group. Those persons who have used the other terms, or heard them used, have not generally been aware that all these various terms referred to the same Group...this Group is, as I shall show, one of the most important historical facts of the twentieth century.[28]: ix Quigley assigns this group primary or exclusive credit for several historical events: the Jameson Raid, the Second Boer War, the founding of the Union of South Africa, the replacement of the British Empire with the Commonwealth of Nations, and a number of Britain's foreign policy decisions in the twentieth century.[28]: 5 In 1966, Quigley published a one-volume history of the twentieth century, titled Tragedy and Hope. At several points in this book, the history of the Milner group is discussed. Moreover, Quigley states that he has recently been in direct contact with this organization, whose nature he contrasts to right-wing claims of a communist conspiracy: This radical Right fairy tale, which is now an accepted folk myth in many groups in America, pictured the recent history of the United States, in regard to domestic reform and in foreign affairs, as a well-organized plot by extreme Left-wing elements ... This myth, like all fables, does in fact have a modicum of truth. There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the Radical right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other group, and frequently does so. I know of the operation of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies... but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known.[29]: 949-950 According to Quigley, the leaders of this group were Cecil Rhodes and Alfred Milner from 1891 until Rhodes' death in 1902, Milner alone until his own death in 1925, Lionel Curtis from 1925 to 1955, Robert H. (Baron) Brand from 1955 to 1963, and Adam D. Marris from 1963 until the time Quigley wrote his book. This organization also functioned through certain loosely affiliated "front groups", including the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the Institute of Pacific Relations, and the Council on Foreign Relations.[29]: 132, 950-952 In addition, other secret societies are briefly discussed in Tragedy and Hope, including a consortium of the leaders of the central banks of several countries, who formed the Bank for International Settlements.
Well, at least since the crusades there had been a revival of ancient gnostic ideas in Europe. Knights Templars for example got in contact with ancient gnostic sources and a lot of well-educated folks tried to find out "the true name of the true, one and only God" in these days. So Hitler just depicted and finally captured existing, quite well-established traditions, easy at hand almost everywhere within the Austro-Hungarian regions. In fact, Catholicism might have been so devout in most of those regions just in order to suppress adverse traditions and practices... 😮😮😮
WOW! I study religious history. This is a complete shock & I'll have to listen deeply. All this time I thought Hitler was a lapsed Catholic who was open to old Teutonic religions....
A study of history is a study of his story. And you do not know who "he" is or how irrational he is. For, I can assure you that he is indeed irrational if "he" is not The Source Itself. No Tik - sorry you're simply displaying your lack of philosophical and religious knowledge - yes there are gnostic overtones and the generic Prussian anti-Semitic naturalism - but it is also spinozan panentheism and Hegelian geist (spirit of destiny which evolves through dialectic struggle in history) - you're again working on a premise that all this is "gnostic" because you don't understand either Gnostic sources (see voegelin) and the extra sources such as typical pantneism which was a major enlightenment influence e.g. In comtian post revolutionary France. You're oversimplifying and confusing the Vril culture over to as of Himmler's occult fanaticism. But Hitler 's ramblings are an inchoate amalgam of many ideological sources.
I think that what Voegelin used the word "gnostic" for was a high level concept that both tied the various contradictory strands of historic gnosticism together and provided a viable label for an as-yet-unnamed concept. Unfortunately, while "reality-negative utopian epistemic elitism" might be a more accurate description, it doesn't roll off the tongue nearly as well. =P
I think I would say that Hitler's religion was not Gnosticism, rather that he built his religion on the foundation of Gnosticism and used what fit in with the rest of his ideological ideas/religion. Edit: to add an analogy it is like the prophet Muhammad taking the ancient Jewish texts and creating Islam from them. Based on the same source material but completely different in many respects.
Good point, in his first video TIK makes a similar point and states that he doesn't have a name so he will use Gnosticism. He also states that for this analyze he is defining it as the root religion for all the branches, and actually gives the example of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity all being the Abrahamic religions. So when he says Gnosticism it's in the same level of description as Abrahamic, which he should have restated here.

Another historical fascination is the Cult Of Reason propagated by the French state in the 18th century. In a similar manner, religion was used as a tool to justify the state and cudgel the followers into more fervent devotion to their overlords.

Elijah has returned in these "end times" as prophesied, and all mysteries have been revealed. Click and ye shall find. (I correspond only via my contact page.)
I think saying he was consciously a gnostic, is rather a stretch. It's clear he wasn't a full atheist, and obviously wasn't a Christian, but I suspect most of his religious rhetoric was just that, a rhetoric. He's view of Germans/Nordics/Aryans being a "chosen race" and others being metaphysically inferior strangely mirrors the views of Talmud on Jews. He definitely saw religion as subservient to the state, and just a part of propaganda.
@TIKhistory While I hear what you're saying, I'm struggling to fully grasp the idea. In your last video you discussed how the 'demiurge' created the material world- according to the Gnostics- and that it was not the true embodiment of our 'spiritual' selves. They thought that, correct me at any time if I'm wrong, we must 'transcend' the material realm of the 'fake' God to reach the realm of the 'true' God; the natural order was seen as the 'false' manifestation of the 'untrue demiurge'- the 'fake' God. Therefore, how can this view by Gnostics be reconciled with AH deriving his racism deriving from the 'inequality of nature'? Surely these two views are incompatible, no? If AH, on the one hand, says in Mein Kampf that: "the inner segregation of the species of all living beings on this earth" can be ascertained even with "the most superficial observation" of nature, how can this make him, on the other hand, a gnostic who scorns natural life as 'untrue'? My apologies if this turns out to be a silly question. You're doing a fantastic job with these types of videos; they're extremely interesting! I can't even begin to imagine how hard you must be working...
You ask good questions. The line of reasoning in these videos is as confused as AH was. It would be more convincing to argue he was a Tibetan Buddhist than a gnostic but both claims would be ridiculous. He was a lunatic, a psychopathic megalomaniac. His ideas were not ordered enough to derive coherent philosophy from and these efforts are slanderous of philosophical traditions that in no way shape or form correspond to nazi gibberish.
Very interesting question. But it prompts the question, did AH believe the 'inequality of nature' favored aryans? If so then he would be over selling the threat against aryans getting wiped out and civilization with it. Why would he need to be given a mission from god to wipe out something that natural selection was taking care of? But if he though nature instead favored the Jews, then calling for unity against them is a revolt against nature. The demiurge stacked the world against us with it's racism thus justifying our racism kind of thinking. Either way it requires us interpreting what he said and assuming a lot, because fortunately none of us here think like AH.

The Iron Cross

This is true. TIK has takes this out of context several times.
The translators obviously know this. Why would they then capitalize the word Creation in English? Because they infer from context that Hitler means to communicate the religious capital C creation (probably "Schöpfung"). So it's the opinion of the translator.

I agree, Nietzsche was the first thing that came to my mind.
Imagine if Germany had taken Russia as Lebensraum.
@@browngreen933 It probably would have been a disaster.
@@browngreen933 they wouldn’t have. That is all post war propaganda.
It seemingly always comes back to the Marxist "species being" definition because it's so amorphous: if deaf people are a species, and fat people are a species, and spiritual races are a species... two guys in a van in Newark who like eating pudding naked can be a 'species', then it just depends on what kind of story you weave around your 'species' as long as it's driven by gnosis. this video and part 1 were unbelievably interesting - would love to see more if you have any more information on the topic in the future.
@@Archeidos-Arcana Considering the fact that even the name comes from a Roman god, Hermes, I'd say it'sa religion.
@@Archeidos-Arcana 27 canonical books of the Bible? Books of Abraham? Who told you those things?
@@Archeidos-Arcana Hermeticism deals with the world, God, man, and man's place in the world. It is a religion.

Having discovered these just recently, I find them interesting. I shall slowly catch up. Thank-you.
NSDAP and Hitler were Christians
James crossly from the university of Sheffield has talked about this before
The Jews would deny that.
I never really realized how well-read Hitler must of been.
There are a few books about his personal libraries. Many of his books were seized and are now held in archives.

In Ancient history, the issue is usually lack of information. The problem with modern history is a glut of false information.
Interesting perspectives, thank you, in general it's more of a perceived feeling i have than a fact, ww2 feels like theres much less of an agreement of what actually happened in comparison, despite there being people still alive who were there at the time
@@yanmew I do agree with your sentiment, I only just said the same thing myself to my father the other day while watching the coronation "Often we can be more sure of ancient history than modern history, because all the lies of the ancient history have settled down and we can at least look for truth, but with the modern history the people who created the lies are still alive and still bloody lying." 😂
But what I said of ancient history is still true.
I suggested this exact book on the previous video about this topic! It's an excellent book, and I recommend it. I really appreciate how Weikart debunked claims about Hitler being Catholic/Christian and provided evidence to show that Hitler (and many of the Nazis) can be best described as a _völkisch_ pantheist.
Himmler was definitely a Dungeons & Dragons fan in middle school
He was a classical chud.
Love the material keep it coming, i feel like these last to videos have pulled a sheet off my face, looking at , and thinking about things in a whole new way
Hitler followed Blavatsky and Theosophy.
And Blavatska was Slavic.
So, let's be accurate here. Hitler's religion was SATANISM. But you can call it gnostic satanism if you want. And this is also the religion of the modernday U.S. Trump-publican Party.

Explain the context of the evidence then. Sounds like hitler is blatantly dissing Christians and Christianity here.

Aryan, much like any word in the dictionary, has different definitions.
There are plenty of speeches and articles by the man that completely debunk your "further evidence" that is really nothing but "This is what I think, so this is evidence."
PS: AH wanted to take over the world?

My take is that the books and stories may be similar, but yet the interpretation varies (as some gnostics claim Satan and Lucifer being made the same entity, as a form of deception, when in reality, lucifer, the light bearer , manifested in earth to free humanity from the spiritual
Chaining of materialism), and the ideas of Agatha and Shamballa which can by some represent both spirit and soul, two attributes also mixed by Christians, as a “form of deception”.

Well it's simple, Christian Gnostics reject the old testament while they believe in new testament.
Mainly because OG god was a total pos.

Extremely interesting and extremely informative. Please keep it up.

So it's highly probable that they got this stuff from previous groups of Gnostics.
they are catholics
Guess what: religious ideas are hard codes into reality. Even if people don't have access, the variables of life and death are still the same, so of course people come up with Gnosticism around the early age of Christianity (Christianity is not gnosticism! Gnosticism is a heresy in Christian eyes) and today
I agree Goodman, a conclusion I've come to over the many years of delving into the histories on all Germandom-- profane, esoteric or otherwise. A fountain of rabbitholes those Holy Romans do indeed shed. ;)
I would love to hear your take on the influence of Theosophical schools of thought on the Nazi ideology, particularly Blavatsky and Crowley.
If you want pure unadulterated Truth, it only takes 5 minutes to read "The Book of GOD" at no cost, just a click away. You did a great job TIK on this topic. Thanks for the exhaustive treatment. I guess we just have to make sure people understand that gnosticism is not really 'a' religion but rather a thought pattern. A set of eclectic theories about transcendental essence which is only accessible to and through a select group of people.
It's the idea of natural philosophy, combined with the idea of a, God's chosen people.
Wow, this is some interesting work!
Thanks for sharing this.
Well sourced. Well argued.
Where are his sources? He should back up his claims with Gnostic sources, which he cannot do because there are none to support his claims.

No.
Having gone down the gnostic rabbit hole in my younger years, this makes a lot of sense. I've enjoyed this series. Keep it up.
It's a long and strange rabbit hole for sure

His writing on this topic has made Quigley famous among many who investigate "conspiracy theories".[1]: 96, 98
Quigley and the Milner Group
In his book The Anglo-American Establishment: From Rhodes to Cliveden (written in 1949 and published posthumously in 1981),[24] Quigley aims to trace the history of a secret society. Historian Robert Rotberg states:
But Quigley was not opposed to what Rhodes and Milner had purportedly tried to accomplish. Indeed, Quigley wrote more in remorse at what had failed than in antagonism to what he believed were their mutual efforts at extending the British Empire,"[26]
The society consisted of an inner circle ("The Society of the Elect") and an outer circle ("The Association of Helpers", also known as The Milner Kindergarten and the Round Table Group).[27] The society as a whole does not have a fixed name:
This society has been known at various times as Milner's Kindergarten, as the Round Table Group, as the Rhodes crowd, as The Times crowd, as the All Souls group, and as the Cliveden set. ... I have chosen to call it the Milner group. Those persons who have used the other terms, or heard them used, have not generally been aware that all these various terms referred to the same Group...this Group is, as I shall show, one of the most important historical facts of the twentieth century.[28]: ix
Quigley assigns this group primary or exclusive credit for several historical events: the Jameson Raid, the Second Boer War, the founding of the Union of South Africa, the replacement of the British Empire with the Commonwealth of Nations, and a number of Britain's foreign policy decisions in the twentieth century.[28]: 5
In 1966, Quigley published a one-volume history of the twentieth century, titled Tragedy and Hope. At several points in this book, the history of the Milner group is discussed. Moreover, Quigley states that he has recently been in direct contact with this organization, whose nature he contrasts to right-wing claims of a communist conspiracy:
This radical Right fairy tale, which is now an accepted folk myth in many groups in America, pictured the recent history of the United States, in regard to domestic reform and in foreign affairs, as a well-organized plot by extreme Left-wing elements ... I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies... but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known.[29]: 949-950
According to Quigley, the leaders of this group were Cecil Rhodes and Alfred Milner from 1891 until Rhodes' death in 1902, Milner alone until his own death in 1925, Lionel Curtis from 1925 to 1955, Robert H. (Baron) Brand from 1955 to 1963, and Adam D. Marris from 1963 until the time Quigley wrote his book. This organization also functioned through certain loosely affiliated "front groups", including the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the Institute of Pacific Relations, and the Council on Foreign Relations.[29]: 132, 950-952
In addition, other secret societies are briefly discussed in Tragedy and Hope, including a consortium of the leaders of the central banks of several countries, who formed the Bank for International Settlements.
Gnosticism simply means beliefs that are based on personal experience and reasoning. And the selfish human EGO is what the Bible calls "the devil" and "satan" and a host of other terms (the serpent, the beast, the prince of this world, the god of this world, the anti-Christ). So, let's be accurate here. Hitler's religion was SATANISM. But you can call it gnostic satanism if you want. And this is also the religion of the modernday U.S. Trump-publican Party. Elijah has returned in these "end times" as prophesied, and all mysteries have been revealed. Click and ye shall find. (I correspond only via my contact page.)
How sml ur pp?

You have clearly mixed up theosophy with gnosticism here. Hitler was heavily influenced with Blavatsky as he read The Secret Doctrine and had it by his bedside table.
And what sources did Blavatsky copy from ?
The Corpus Hermeticum is one of them.
a lot of people don't know or forget he also sent Catholics to the camps and refused Catholic church service, he favored Protestantism, and like many things he did, I'm not sure why
Because the nsdap had the least votes from Catholics and the most from protestants

Another historical fascination is the Cult Of Reason propagated by the French state in the 18th century. In a similar manner, religion was used as a tool to justify the state and cudgel the followers into more fervent devotion to their overlords.

Very intersting topic. And I fully agree that the "Table Talks" are a valid source.
Tik really enjoying it so far i have gone down the Gnostic and Hermetic rabit hole and it only gets worse and more confusing from here
I think saying he was consciously a gnostic, is rather a stretch.
@TIKhistory
While I hear what you're saying, I'm struggling to fully grasp the idea.
Maybe TIK is a BS artist.
Definitely keep going as, I think, it is important to expose the underpinnings of this in order to avoid something like this happening again.
