Regarding part 1 however,as an IMG,are question banks alone really enough?
Also,do I need to know European guidlines to pass part 1?

Hi, thank you. Knowing the UK guidelines will definiately help. It will be more improtant for Part 2 and PACES. Part 1 is less clinical, more science. It depends on your studying styles, I suggest doing the q banks first, then reading around the topics you are unfamiliar with.

Thank you so much for your highly useful videos. I will be sitting for my MRCP part 1 on 15 September 2020. This will be my 3rd attempt and i so much want to ensure that I pass. My last 2 attempts were in 2018 and 2019. I realise that I will need to be more disciplined in my planning and adhering to the plan. I will be using the Pastest Q bank for my preparations. I note that there are ~5460 questions (by specialty) and in addition there are past year questions from 2015 to 2019. It will be v challenging for me to complete all questions before the exams as i am working full time. As I will need to prioritise, do you have any tips for me?

Hi, yes you can. But may I ask why you want to do MRCP if you are specialising in psychiatry. Do you want to work in the UK?

@@drsaipavanmd5446 You don't need MRCP to enter paediatrics. Just complete FY2, then you can apply for paediatric specialty training. After entering paediatric specialty training, you need to sit for MRCPCH.
MRCP is only for the medical specialties like resp, cardio, derm, gastro, renal etc.
