- Update: I'm sure like everyone right now I was absolutely devastated to hear the news of Michael Angelis' passing in May 2020. I made this video as a tribute to his work outside of Thomas & Friends, and since his untimely death I now see it as an obituary of sorts. The wonderful comments and tributes I've seen myself just show how much of an impact he made on all of us, and like any Thomas fan out there I hope to keep his memory alive with this video. But regardless of what you make of this, I think we can all agree that Michael Angelis was voice of the childhood's of many people around the world, and will continue to do so long into the future. Hope you enjoy it

Ok, so Watchmojo parody aside, this is a little project I've been working on in my free time for a couple of years now. I got the inspiration after discovering that if I tried to search for any Michael Angelis related content on Google or RUclips, not a whole lot comes up. There's not a whole lot of interviews or new stories about his career and where it has taken him, it's mainly all fan made Thomas & Friends related content! I decided that his roles and contributions to British TV and movies over the last nearly 50 years deserved a closer look, and after being inspired by the work of a RUclipsr called Brandon Hardesty and his channel 'The Back Focus', I decided to get to work. After all, there's more to Michael Angelis than just Thomas & Friends.
With the help of his IMDB page, and by making a number of purchases of some rather hard to get content (mainly from EBay and Amazon), which I then watched all in their entirety, I came up with a list of what I consider to be Michael Angelis' top 10 performances. Of course, this is all a matter of perspective, and I'm sure there are other performances of his which may be arguably better than what I have listed (some of which I could not get any footage of), but I like to think these performances are the highlights of his career. Hope you enjoy!

I remember 3 years ago, when I heard about it, my parents were far too scared to tell me about it because of how I reacted when I was younger and I heard wither Chris or Wilbert passed, but I found out through the internet and, like many other, were devastated and did not sleep that whole night, I LOVE Michael Angelis and I still miss him, can't believe it's been 3 years since tragedy struck us all Thomas Fans 😢
Michael Angelis will always be one of the most legendary people that ever existed.

In 2003, Hit Entertainment did a trial version of Thomas and Friends season 7 (USA), they replaced Michael Brandon with Michael Angelis.

I loved Michael Angelis as the Narrator of 'Thomas & Friends'. I also loved his performance of Martin Donnelly in 'The Bill' episode 'Good Cop Bad Cop' from 2007.I also remember a very funny classic line from 'The Liver Birds' when he says "She's worried what might happen when you turn the page." (I think that's how the line goes).
Thomas and Friends would never be the same without Michael Angelis. R.I.P Michael Angelis we miss and love you very much.

Loved this! Apart the obvious show, Boys From The Black Stuff really showed to me how versatile Angelis could be as an actor. He played Chrissie so well. Thanks for making this video as I had no idea some of the other productions he featured in - must check them out!

I always loved him narrating Thomas. While it's the only role of Angelis I've seen, I'd call it my favourite too, since Thomas & Friends has been a huge part of my childhood and Angelis is also my favourite narrator for the show.

I used to watch Thomas and Friends and could remember his voice when he is narrating the show.
RIP Michael Angelis! I did not know you died 2 years back. You mean more to me and my childhood, than Robbin Williams, Disney and everything else.
