🐾 Meet the Pets:
Julianna introduces her faithful companions: Taffy, her 9-year-old Shih Tzu, and Tuba, a reservation rescue dog. Alongside them is Wreck, the FJ Cruiser, that has transformed from being her home to now towing her new dwelling.
💸 The Financial Aspect:
Purchased eight years ago for approximately $32,000, the FJ Cruiser underwent extensive modifications costing between $15,000 and $20,000. The investment reflects Julianna's commitment to a mobile lifestyle, blending practicality with her passion for overlanding.
🍳 Kitchen Setup and Amenities:
Discover Julianna's efficient kitchen area in the FJ Cruiser, featuring a dual-zone 80qt fridge, a propane stove, and a handy induction burner. Her focus on maximizing space is evident in her clever storage solutions, including the transformation of the FJ Cruiser's rear into additional pantry space.
🔌 Power and Energy Efficiency:
Julianna takes pride in her DIY approach to the Cruiser's electrical setup. The system includes a 300 amp hour Enduro power lithium battery, a solar mppt controller, a 1,000W inverter, and solar panels mounted on the roof and hood. This self-sufficient system powers her mobile home and all its appliances.
🚗 From Cruiser to Camper:
Transitioning from living in the FJ Cruiser to towing a custom-built camper, Julianna found the perfect balance between mobility and comfort. She sourced an old military generator trailer for $7,000 and revamped it using free wood from a previous job, creating a cozy, steel-framed living space.

In the camper, Julianna utilizes an induction cooktop, an air fryer, and an electric kettle. Her creative use of space includes a modified kitchen pot holder for secure storage while on the move. Though she hasn't yet decided whether to move the fridge from the FJ Cruiser into the camper, her current setup works well for her nomadic life.

@immgrntsrus I found it in the online switch game store. if I remember I looked up clasicc arcade games, I don't fully remember how I found it haha
Hey answer on the switch question. You can get the Switch online and you get to play NES, SNES, Genesis, gameboy etc retro games. You can get a single plan or family plan so if got couple people I. The house with their own switch. They have a lot of games to choose from.
OR you can MODIFY your switch so you can download emulator to play retro games :)
@@BillieRC thanks for the tips but unfortunately I’m in a region where online doesn’t work for the Switch 😭 but maybe an emulator is possible; I’ll look into it!
This was great, I love her home! If it were me I'd definitely carry my pew pew and a big dog but I'm sure besides her dogs she got something for defense if she needs it. Definitely a brave and confident woman, I just love the freedom she has. God bless you Julianna and have the best time ever! 😁

What an outstanding young woman. Two dogs, for companionship, she is all set. She has been very creative with her space and it makes having enormous spaces, and with a stagnant lifestyle seem boring and absurd.

Well the trailer is small but if it works for Julianna and her pups that's great. I like that she has the freedom to just travel and explore various areas and not fear the what if,s . Very inspiring indeed Happy travels girl.

Toyota FJ...that is gonna be a classic vehicle...I love the design so much. I love it more than the original.
Unfortunately, my FJ was deemed a write off recently 😢 mice got to it and caused to much damage for repairs.
@@TheOverlanderNextdoor So sorry to hear that. When my beloved 1993 Pathfinder was finally beyond repairs, I had a really hard time finding something I liked. What happened to midsize SUVs? now they look like regular cars or wanna-be monster trucks, or don't have ground clearance worth it. Loved the ground clearance on your baby. Will be looking to see what you decide on next, good luck!

I have the same pink pot/cooker that you have. The one thing I don’t like about it is you really have to have some food or water in the pot for it to not tip over. The other thing I like to cook out of our rice cookers and I have two different size small rice cookers. I do live in a house and I’m not traveling. The thing I like about those electric appliances is the ability to walk out of the room and not worry about the stove being on. Thank you for sharing your life with us and your home.

Those generator trailers are hardcore...I saw a young women pull out in between one of those trailers and the diesel truck pulling it...ripped the front end of the car right off...well...it more shattered into bits....everyone was ok. The trailer looked fine, stayed on the hitch and all. The car was a Honda Accord and probably around 3000lb and absolutely totalled.
They are so beastly!
This is impressive to me if there's was a tiny living award that I was judging I would give you the award over the some of the cookie cutter tiny living homes especially the ones with cabinets. Anyone who prioritize function over fashion wins in my book.
Would you make any changes future things you want to add
I'm planning to add a composting toliet, I have recently added a small d.i.y sink out of a old bowl, and I will eventually have running water, as well as a hot outdoor shower.
Where is the bathroom and shower?
I use mostly truck stops or I go to peoples houses when offered! 😊
