In the first session Dr. Randy White looks at how the orthodox Jews and the Christian antagonists (from within and without Christianity) recognize how different Paul is from Jesus, yet the "standard evangelical" views Paul as the 13th apostle, simply "more of the same." On this one, the outsiders see it and most insiders don't. Learn the importance of getting Paul right!
So very excited about this new series of lessons!!!! And the book to be forthcoming!
Thank you!!
Mandatory Learning for any genuine christian, thank you Pastor Randy!!!
Thank you, Hector!!
1x(6/11/24)……starts……3:00…done thank you. Excellent. Randy says it may be 8 to 10 sessions of this
That video, wow! Got to appreciate the intellectual honesty--more so than the average Baptist, Methodist, or Presbyterian. What will you do with his accusations, World? Church? Right Dividers have the answer! Do you!?!
Amen!!
Very interesting, I've listened to some of those similar attacks and accusations on Paul finally a right divider's answers to them.......some of them are famous Jewish Apologist promoting Judaism😊
Thank you!
Pastor: Your statement near the end was: "Jesus said, obey the law and you will be saved, Paul said its a free gift." my question is, where in John 3:16 does Jesus say, "obey the commandments and you will have eternal life?" obviously Jesus says believe....so how do you stand by such a statement when Christ clearly says believe. i do get that in the sermon on the mount he stressed the law, but we know that was a different dispensation. Jesus called people to believe in HIM, have faith just as Paul did. right?
I was paraphrasing the account of the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17-22), in which Jesus instructed the man to obey the commandments, answering the question about how to have eternal life. Belief (faith) was essential to obedience to the Law, so you can find belief passages in the Law, Prophets, and Gospels. But the "faith alone" aspect is what is unique to Paul. As to John 3:16, I find it interesting that there is no equivalent message in the synoptics. See this link for more on that: worshify.com/watch/rwm/because-you-asked-for-it/5
Paul was commissioned by Jesus, Acts 9. Paul is teaching about and hie is writing to share the gospel (Romans 1:16) and is giving NEW commandments: 1 Cor 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. (i don't yet see the problem you are trying to explain?) Wasn't Paul working for Jesus?
@@jimolson2447 in essence, I agree with you. But since Paul did teach new things, which were in opposition to old things, many accuse him of being a heretic, perverting the faith. Others insist that all Pauline material is consistent with the earlier kingdom material, which is also in error. It is essential to see that Paul has a distinct program.
@@RandyWhite thanks for responding! Yes Jesus was preaching the kingdom, but rejected and so the kingdom is postponed. In the mean time the gospel is to be preached. the old things were the kingdom things, which will actually be the new things, when Jesus comes back!
