- BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) - Parents trust daycare workers to protect and care for their kids after they’re dropped off for the day.
But one Lowcountry mother says her child’s teacher hurt some of the kids.
"We trusted these people to keep our son safe, and they failed to do that," Jasmine Cook, the mother of Devari Mazyck, said.

She or he idk looks like one of the after school teachers when I was in elementary. My teacher was mean but she would never hit us. She was just you know mean nasty but not violent kind of teach. That was back when we didn’t have cameras in the class.

You can't say stuff like that because it's not realistic . Don't you have to trust teachers to teach your child in school ? Or are you gonna home school ? What about the doctor ? Are you not gonna let them go get annual checkups so you just do them yourself with no medical training right ? You have to be aware who you leave your child around yes but at the same time you can't be so frightened or allow them to be so frightened they don't get to enjoy life .

Everyone know they are taking a risk putting their children in a daycare. You can’t trust anyone. And it looks like she may have been abusing theses children for a while. I am glad the little boy was able to tell his mom. God bless him.
