    Nurses are amazing! Doctors write prescriptions and go, but nurses are by your side through the worse times, come rain or sunshine, cradle to grave. That's simply priceless! We love you nurses 💕

Lab ,Coronary Care Unit , Renal Haemodialysis Unit, I would recommend try whatever you think it will be beneficial to your career don't just stay in one area . Good luck!

      I thought you’d have to be specifically trained as a children’s nurse or done the top up masters degree of 2 years to become a children’s nurse too? Or am I wrong?

    I'm an introvert that prefers 1 to 1 at a time and that isn't super stressful. I've considered home health. Icu is one to one but more life or death stress so idk about that for me.
    During clinicals I liked the hospital settings that weren't surgical better. It was too many patients up and down from surgery, in and out of the ward all the time. Wasn't so enjoyable to me. Wound care clinic could be something I like I think. Or helping people manage their diabetes or something of that sort.

      @sabrinalake8803 3 года назад +3

      Hey. I'm a student nurse in the UK and just from experience this may be a difficult one to answer because uniforms can vary between different trusts. In general from what I've seen Staff Nurses wear a mid blue uniform, Sisters/Charge nurses a navy blue and Matrons a black uniform. Normally there's a choice if you want tunics or dresses. I don't know much about whether scrubs are colour coded. Hope this is helpful

    • @nursezara
      @nursezara  3 года назад +3

      Yep so Sabrina answered this perfectly! it will vary between hospital trusts, departments, seniority/ banding so its difficult to give an exact answer :) This is the same with both scrubs and tunics!

    Hello, I have very a important question!! I am from London. 🇬🇧
    I have graduated BSC nursing 2021/22. And I still haven’t started working yet due to disability. Complicated 😔 it’s been 2 years. I haven’t done any hours or registered to NMC. But I am more confident now. I am planning to start end of this year or beginning of this next year! Excited!!
    Will there be any issue with my registration? Will I be able to get the job? What shall I do ?
    Please someone reply to me!’ I will really appreciate it!

      Hello Hasnat, I can have a think about a video idea for this :) Although, generally for A-levels most universities prefer science subjects such as Biology and Social Sciences such as Sociology or Psychology. However, it is always best to check with individual university requirements :) Also, if you havent already take a look at my video 'How to become a Registered Nurse in the UK ruclips.net/video/zkhvoJsH_5k/видео.html which gives some alternative routes into the career :) hope this helps for now x

    • @jc_80
      @jc_80 3 года назад +1

      Well Hasnat think about subjects with transferable skills suited to the nursing degree course such as physiology biology sociology the degree course is centred around essays physiological exams and practical skills and placements so think about a-levels that will enhance the skills required good luck
