2 more cons : The ventilated seats are noisy at high cooling point. The reverse camera does not come with adaptive guidelines which is an extremely useful feature in tight spaces and even for new drivers in general

I think it is better to wait for 1 or 2 years and then take a vehicle with the new models with hybrid engines. Maybe 2023~24 we will see vehicles with hybrid offerings. New VW Polo, Toyota RAV4, Honda HRV etc might be on the list. Virtus also might get the hybrid option. Lets wait and watch

Dq 200 is the bread n butter thats a good gearbox the one who makes the headache was the dq 250 that fails on most vag and that too due to the use without changing the transmission oil, give a good care in that and that will run for sure.
DSG is still best automatic, actually those who conplains they don't know how to use, and damaging the gear box.
Most of the German car use DSG (including merc, bmw, audi etc), those cars don't have gearbox issue
Dsg is actually dct transmission, and all vw group calls it dsg. So bmw and merc dont use vw’s dsg. They use their own dct gearbox. And the complains are only from Volkswagen’s dsg or dct gearbox… we just shared the fact, because its fact that vw’s dsg has higher failure rate.
@@GKCars both are same, different country different name. AUDI and few other are using vw DSG. And merc & bmw are using similar products (made by them).
Vw dsg is still best in india(for them who know driving)

@@atigyamishra4894 I own this form more than 3 years. Before replying first own this , read the user manual and drive at least for 1 year. Please don't Google and get the answers from web. Many car Gurus in web are stupid

Audi and VW main DSG aata hai, and Merc/BMW Torque converter aata hai.
DSG DQ200 is used for less powerful engines, below 2000cc. DQ200 is a disaster gearbox (dry clutch) and failure in India because of our hot climate, which is not the case in Europe.
DQ250 and rest DSG gearboxes (are wet clutch), these are never introduced in India. And if launched, will have less failure rate comparatively. One more thing DCT and DSG are same.

Out of dozens of reviews I went through, no one has really commented on the air conditioner performance- one lone review has dealt with this aspect but not gone at length: it simply said that the cooling is not sufficient for the rear passengers in 1.0 engine, however it is not clear whether it is the same case with 1.5 engine or not…. It’s ridiculous that selling a car in a tropical country at premium price does not take into consideration, a basic feature….what kind of India 2.0 strategy the company is pursuing??? Any reviewer listening?? These reviewer guys don’t want anything beyond what catches the eye!
actually, the ac performance is ok but there is one problem with volkswagen and skoda's ac unit. when you rev your engine above certain rpm, they shut off the ac. which is not the good thing for those who drive in that manner, but those who change gears at 2000 rpm or below, won't notice any difference in ac.
I notice exactly the same in virtus rare ac is poor

Itappears there is a single bibeam headlamp in the outer slot and a dummy inner one

I hv taken delivery of virtus yesterday , I hv driven upto 90kms but mileage is showing only 7.5 -7.7
Now its ok , 10 -17 mileage I m getting

But when during unveiling they have mentioned 6 speed manual variant with 1.5 engine...even its there still in the brochure..
But some are saying it will not be provided but there is no official announcement from Volkswagen??
In their website, they said gt variant will come with only dsg transmission

Already booked Astor base but Upcoming Toyota seems more muscular n more features than Astor

Mileage information is not correct 1 lit automatic is giving around 14
Honda City, Verna Virtus se nahi bhir payegi. wo do 113 aur 119 bhp deti hai apni top end pe, Virus 150 bhp degi apni top wali pe. Koi comparison nahi. Slavia aur Hyundai Elantra takkar degi ise. Virtus Diesel walo ke liye nahi. Aur aap kyon Suzuki aur VW ka compare kar rahi ho kisi bhi mamle me? VW ke aage Suzuki kisi bhi mamle me nahi tikegi siwaaye "Kitna deti hai" me.....

These cars engine would sieze if they are driven in standing water... restoration is very expensive...
negatives taigun or virtus- poor cabin insulation, nil auto folding orvm.
