@@TrendingPoonai I'm driving a 1ltr AT. Initially, i was concerned about the mileage. However, after the initial 200-300 kms, i started getting decent mileage. It gives arnd 14 kmpl in mixed Gurgaon traffic. Best it gave me till now was 17kmpl, and it was just a trip of 40-50kms. B2B is definitely low in the range of 8-9. Am about to take it on a 250 km drive, will update how much it gave me there. Talking of comfort, 3 averagely built people can sit comfortably in the backseat. The handling is top notch. Body roll is negligible given the GC. Also, mileage may vary considering the Octane number of the fuel being used. I always prefer 95 Octane fuel since this is a turbo engine. This is what is also recommended by the manufacturer. However, normal 91 Octane fuel, which is the standard in India, also works just fine. Though would suggest using 95 every once in a while.

All it boils down to comfort and mileage in Indian conditions, we’ll for at least next 7-10 years.
Turbo engines and 0-100 is not a day to day thing. German engines with high performance don’t provide the mileage we need with petrol prices steady over 105 for a long time now. Only thing city misses on is ventilated seats , specially in hot summers. Wireless charging n auto play will heat ur phone way too much so people should not take it as advantage. The reasons as per my opinion, would be higher waiting time with the Germans due to chip shortage, also, there was a huge backlash due to the features they deleted in Slavia. Also, Kushaq Monte Carlo edition was launched, and it might have cannibalised the market considering Slavia and Virtus were even targetting customers from the compact SUV segment by giving higher GC. City has performed consistently since hardcore sedan fans, is what it caters to while the fluctuations in Slavia numbers can be attributed to them having targetted a mixed audience.

So here the enthusiasts people who would like to have one VW would rather buy other brands like Hyundai or Honda because of network service centre’s availability.
