For over 2000 years, the Knights of Malta have trained one special woman, each with a bloodline tracing back to Mary of Magdalene, in each generation to be the Magdalena -- the official warrior protector of the Catholic Church. Across the millennia, the Magdalenas, official warrior protectors of the Catholic Church have battled in secret, protecting humanity from the supernatural threats and evil that would tear our world apart. The Magdalene is trained on several forms and styles of fighting. She's an expert on both unarmed and armed combat but favors medieval weaponry. She's an excellent sword and knife fighter, as well as considered unbeatable when she wields the Spear. She has been known to use firearms on occasion and carries one concealed handgun among the many swords, blades, knives and throwable devices she carries.

Great review as usual! I was very close to buy this a year ago, very cheap way below retail but these XM boxes are so big, I decided not to get her. I still love this piece tho, without the extra statue in a smaller box I would definitely get her

Thx for the review. A few years ago, I had the chance to buy her too at a cheap price. It's a nice looking piece but I do not love it. To me it has some weird looking things. First of all, the connection between the cape and the hoody is kinda of strange looking. Good that is comes with another headsculpt without the hoody. Secondly why is her cape so long? If she's in combat it is way too akward to move fluid. There's also a comic version of her in where she looks like a fierce woman. Small waist, very long leggs and a bad ass sexy face. I wish xm-studios would have gone more the comic version route. She looks angelic/boring now in my opinion. What the tall second piece concerns. I don't know if I like it. I feel they could have done more with it. They look like 2 seperated pieces. I don't see the connection. What bothers me too are the plants on the second piece. Why do they have the same color as the statue. It looks wrong. If they would have given it some green/brown paint... it would have added it something. I'm glad I have this piece but if had paid the full price maybe that wouldn't be the case.
Yeah understandable, I guess to each their own. I personally love the fact that they went with a more serene look/vibe for her. I think the vines on the bigger statue are meant to be sculpted as part of the statue, they're not actually meant to be real vines. Who knows though! lol. Thanks for the watch :)
Ah man.. I was contemplating getting this piece from specfiction. As you said at the beginning, it looks so bad ass. I was trying to resist, this isn't even a new piece. Is this video a sign? Maybe something supernatural 🤔
