My first thought was this guy has no idea what he’s talking about. But I laughed because this was all too familiar. The cold, sleet, rain, parts lying around. Keeping extra nuts, removing clinton era cv axels, and the sticker residue!! I installed heavy duty coil springs & kyb struts, new control arms, sway bar links, and ball joint. My ‘98 Camry is standing like a proud bulldog. Im just gonna buy a rock auto knuckle wheel hub assembly to avoid pressing the bearings in. This was a great video.
I have a 2001 camry it is a workhorse i drive all over w it making money and carrying lotta tools and supplies this guy is doing what ive been doing swap out part by part
Toyota will sale you nuts n bolts. I always buy them new when doing these kinds of projects. I did my front control arms, replaced the nuts and bolts. Getting ready to address the rear clunking noise next. Probably looking at the similar project. Ok buddy great 👍 video.✌️
I found my local Fastenal, and now everything sketchy gets replaced with nasa grade socket head screw caps, stainless washers, and nylocks, for like $4 =).
workin on my 92 Camry I just got....in my opinion....it is cherry! yes struts are needed but all belts and a lot more were replaced 10 k ago....the old girl has providence in the glove box....did I mention only 139k on her....her name is "Pearl"...(almond biege pearl)....many blessings!
totally worth it. Dont be afraid of the FCS struts. Spend a little extra on the rest. FVP makes for a great budget build. Mevotech Supreme, Delphi, and Suspensia wont let you down. Consider TTX sway bar links and more if available.

Changing all those parts must make it feel like a completely new car. I plan on doing this on my 01 Avalon. The suspension is completely shot.

How much would you charge in labor on this?
