I didn't notice that catch tray for the filter and parts until you pointed it out. Ive accidentally dropped all sorts of tools and parts into the engine bay, on other cars. But, Ive also found tools that other folks had lost to the engine in the past... -Cheers, from Michigan. PS- That music was a breath of fresh air. Changing all those parts must make it feel like a completely new car. I plan on doing this on my 01 Avalon. The suspension is completely shot.

I had a premature failure using those Mevotech sway bar links.I actually heard banging on the highway,pulled over and found the bar fully separated from the link.The ball pulled right out. Maybe 28,000 miles. Never again,I use oem for most parts now. Had a tie rod fail early too

Go to an autoparts store like auto zone. You put a deposit for the cost of the tool. Return the tool within the time indicated and they give you back all the deposit. Basically free tool rentals.

Hello I just came across your page and love that Oldsmobile ...I have a Cutlass ceria myself the red dot 3.8 and been having fuel delivery problems and can't seem to figure it out yet my mechanic is saying it's the fuel pump is weak but it's a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass ceria I live in Oakridge Oregon but want to take it to a few car shows this summer my husband and i , are from Wisconsin and moved to Oakridge Oregon 7 months ago and love the area thank you for your video

I was glad to hear you will eventually send the VIC/radio to Jon to get it repaired. He repaired both of my VIC's and he had a good service and I recommend him. My first thought was this guy has no idea what he’s talking about. But I laughed because this was all too familiar. The cold, sleet, rain, parts lying around. Keeping extra nuts, removing clinton era cv axels, and the sticker residue!! I installed heavy duty coil springs & kyb struts, new control arms, sway bar links, and ball joint. My ‘98 Camry is standing like a proud bulldog. Im just gonna buy a rock auto knuckle wheel hub assembly to avoid pressing the bearings in. This was a great video.

Did you make those hub caps? Or did you make them? Did you notice any gain in MPG from putting them on? If so I might do the same and get them.

Nice review! I got a 2024 Mirage ES hatchback, and I use it a lot as a cargo van/truck. For me it does everything I need. I have filled the hatchback from the floor to the roof with stuff, all while having the seats folded. Sure, not the safest when doing that. But it sure can do it. I got 8,884 miles on it at the time of writing this, and I got it in late September, 2023. Very good so far! Yes, I drive a lot. About 80 miles per day. Averaging 49.3 MPG over the past 8,884 miles. On the freeway I get about 55 MPG. It's awesome.

workin on my 92 Camry I just got....in my opinion....it is cherry! yes struts are needed but all belts and a lot more were replaced 10 k ago....the old girl has providence in the glove box....did I mention only 139k on her....her name is "Pearl"...(almond biege pearl)....many blessings!
