  • Unsurprisingly, 2023 was the warmest year on record. How do we know that though? Why do we care? And is climate change actually playing a role? MyRadar meteorologist Matthew Cappucci breaks down what we know.

You can take into the mix add volcanic activity on the ocean floor, and that has been.

    Matt
Try to explain a thermal image of the surface of the earth to people and what this says about ground temperature by imaging alone or the lights we see as civilization, this is heat, this is warming the surface temps
Now include city temps which are higher, higher thermal capacity is concrete or capacitance
Remind them how thin the atmosphere relative to earth
All other cycles of weather events were natural which means caused by nature or plants and animals
Dinosaurs eating that much vegetation was not good, increased surface area for solar conversion to ground heat instead of carbon matter or plants
Cities do the same thing, they are solar panels for heat
    Industry creates cities
    It’s not the carbon.
It’s the human massive impact to the conversion of solar energy to carbon!
    Its an indicator
    Love your channel!
    Best predictions for weather statistically
Maybe share how accurate the models are over time, one day two etc
    Stay warm!
Tea with honey will help with the cold!🤓

idk, are the readings taking into account that most weather stations are near black tarmak at airports which raise surrounding temperatures 5 to 10 degrees?

This is a lie. A blatant lie.
