Make sure those laser safety goggles have the correct OD and wavelength specifications, there is no room for errors there. Would not trust a general Amazon or Ebay one.
Highly illegal in the UK and EU, direct exposure to a Class IV laser is prohibited, for obvious reasons. Serious risk of retinal damage to the operator and anyone else in the workshop.
@@nrw34260 Yes, and? Just because you import some dodgy Chinese made fibre laser doesn't magically make it legal. Just google "class 4 laser safety" ... these particular laser are more dangerous than most as the beam is pulsed and also invisible ... but it is still capapble of significant permanent damage to the retina.
