The part where Cash stands up at the trial and says, "My partner has spoken very eloquently, and I wish I could be as forgiving, but this whole thing...fucking sucks!" has basically been in my working lexicon for the past 3 decades.

Watching this film, it strikes me as an almost perfect Friday night sleepover movie in junior high.
You're with your buddies in the theater with popcorn, candy, and drinks in hand. The algebra test you all took earlier that day is ancient history. You're about to witness two hours of uninterrupted shootouts, explosions, bare-knuckle fights, snappy one-liners, car chases, and (hopefully) a few glimpses of Teri Hatcher's rack. And once the good guys drive off into the sunset and the end credits start to roll, you all walk out completely satisfied, regaling each other with your favorite parts as you wait for your buddy's mom to pick you up. Later that night, after spending hours playing Golden Axe on the Sega Genesis, you'll all stay up until 2:00 AM talking about the cute girls at your school and spinning hopeful theories about how that beautiful blonde in your World History class who smiled at you that one time secretly likes you. Finally, you drift off to sleep with the happy thought that summer vacation is just around the corner with its promise of endless hours of freedom. And you dream of Teri Hatcher's breasts.
Damn, I miss being a kid sometimes.

Don't worry about people online don't believing this or that, they don't seem to be aware that famous people are, obviously, _real_ people first and foremost, with family and friends that anyone might run into haphazardly. I used to be acquainted with Jim Lee and other important people in the comic book business, many of which I still keep in touch with or are simply one phone call away, but i never mention it anywhere even if it's relevant to the conversation because people never believe me and, on the other hand, why should they? And who cares, anyway? Just enjoy your life experiences and make the most out of 'em. As long as you care, that's all that matters.
