Many of you know me from my travels in China and for those who haven’t been to Tibet, some tips are shared with you in this video. For instance: How best to deal with altitude sickness? In that 50 note suppose to Dalai Lama not Mao tse dung, Potala palace symbolizes peace and Mao symbolizes lot of killing and destruction.

Hey yall, sorry I made a mistake, today not yesterday is the 1144th Holy day of the Apocalypse. Sins aka Mistakes all have one thing in common, they were not intended. We know happy accidents exist but getting the date wrong is not one of them. While I am here please know that since 2001 the USA has been in a State of Emergency which means there has been no change to the presidency since then. Tibet is still an autonomous region, still have some forms of freedom (sort of), even the communist gov’t built additional sky burial sites, built more roads and restored some iconic landmarks and not putting too much pressure on the Tibetans to abandon their way of life and adapt to the Chinese way of life

God Bless! All Han Chinese has Chinese name almost all the time. Bruce Lee, Jeremy Lin, Jacky Chen etc had their own separated Chinese names. Chinese media will use their Chinese names instead. Some Chinese add extra English name on top of the Chinese name is very common oversea. It is just easier for non-Chinese speaker to pronounce English name. If use Chinese name, the English pronunciation is just very hard and funny or sometime insulting without mother tongue. There is also lost in translation issue since it is only English pronunciation and not the true name. Plus there are many Chinese dialects, means multiple pronunciations and spelling (Mandarin, Cantonese etc). If you include religion, Catholic also require Chinese worshipers to have English Christian name when baptized. It is similar to Muslim when they convert to require Muslim name. The complicity of Chinese name and culture also make someone has separate English and Chinese name. When Chinese want to introduce themselves to Chinese friends or businessmen. Not only he/she must pronounce his/her name correctly. Most also need to express exactly how they are written with which particular Chinese characters and even their meaning. With English name, you can avoid all that hassle.
