At some point, you should react to the opening ceremony of league of legends world championship, they become (almost every time) better and better each year.
Every animation, video clip, cinematic, entire anime (Arcane) produced by the LoL team.. seem designed to take you on a journey and they all evoke emotion. They are so, soooooo amazing!!
I love these cinematics so much, this one especially. This was before Arcane premiered, so getting even just a little glimpse into the Piltover/Zaun characters like Vi and Caitlyn was always so great. The LoL lore is SO deep and expansive, and most of it you don't even get from the game itself (there's no real story in the game itself, you could remove the game entirely and it wouldn't make any difference to the amount of story you're exposed to). For instance, the story of the girl at the end, Lux, is also really good as she's a magic user in a city/region that persecutes magic users (which is why her revealing that she can use magic at the end is a really big deal). Riot is working on a big MMORPG that I'm sure will allow us to more fully explore a lot of the story and lore within the LoL universe and I'm super excited for it! The stories behind LoL are SO much better than the actual LoL game itself, so I'm glad that Riot has started putting more effort into giving us more opportunities to experience them. Great video, dude!

The thing with League is that it is not just "game to have fun" is like a sport, a challenge, you start to enjoy the game when you are already in it, and to do so you have to pay attention, try hard and even study. That is why "is not a fun game". but to me is the best. i have tons of games to have fun and then i have League.
I'm going to keep hammering you about watching LoL's Phoenix ;) It is an amazing video and one that is very emotionally powerful, for me in particular. Still, I also can't wait for you to hit the 2021 Worlds Opening video... that one is a long one, but... you're really going to want to watch it! I don't know. It had something to do with... _something_ they were working on that came out in 2021. Not really sure. Also, I just love that moment when you recognize Caitlyn and just get stopped in your tracks... only for Vi to show up shortly after. It is an awesome moment in the video, I love it! Oh, and as for it breaking you... the guys at Riot have learned how to break people in the best way possible. It is unbelievable how they manage to do it, but I have an honest-to-goodness "LOL Inspirational" playlist for myself because it is just the kind of thing that will get me fired up for something that I need to get done.

The game though, nah, never touching it.

I played LoL for many years (mostly Co-op vs. AI with occasional PvP) and while I did enjoy my time with it the main reason I quit was due to lack of game modes. Summoner's Rift is your standard 3 lane 5v5 MOBA map while Howling Abyss is an ARAM map (All Random All Mid, meaning one lane instead of 3 with the chars picked randomly), but there was also Dominion (a capture and hold mode played on The Crystal Scar where the goal is to control more capture points than your foes to deplete their nexus health to 0), Twisted Treeline (a smaller 3v3 map with 2 lanes) and a variety of rotating game modes (Doom Bots of Doom (co-op vs. super/cheating AI), Ascension (a variation of Dominion), Star Guardian (a Star Guardian (skinline) themed PvE mode), Odyssey (an Odyssey (skinline) themed PvE mode), etc.). These are all gone in favor of SR, Team Fight Tactics (LoL's auto-battler which came out after Dominion and TT were removed) and ARAM. The game is also hard to learn since the tutorial only covers the very basics and not much else, not to mention the community's toxic and newbie hostile reputation. Since I mostly stuck to Co-op VS. AI and never played ranked I rarely encountered toxic people, but your results may vary in other modes. If you can look past that then LoL can be an enjoyable time and a fun game to play. P.S. I've noticed in your reactions to LoL Worlds Opening Ceremonies that some commenters say they started in years like 2016 or 17. That's untrue as they started in 2012 (season 2) while they started doing MSI finals opening ceremonies in 2016 (S6).
LoL got a card game version a few years ago with another beautiful cinematic + music video. “BREATHE” | Official Launch Video - Legends of Runeterra Also you could always just try and install the game, create a private server with a password, and just play with 9 lucky fans. Now that could actually be a fun video to watch.
Watch Worlds - it’s the League of Legends tournament every year. Quarter finals this year are from Oct 19th 👀✨ usually goes on into November (starts much earlier, like beginning of Oct but not sure exact dates) 🖤 And yes. I ALWAYS tear up with the impact.
If you think this is an amazing Cinematic as you have fallen into the League of Legends Rabbithole you will need to see even more of them! Seeing your reaction to this & knowing full well who some of the characters are is so great!
I mean, i really want him to fall in the Lore rabbit hole, but he's probably falling in the riot cinematics one, which is kinda sad, but it's already something
You should react to the Star Guardians cinematics, there are 3, Burning Bright, Light and Shadow and Evertything Goes On (in that order) Also, there are the "Tales of Runeterra", those are one for each region
There's a real psychological thing going on with all of these cinematics. Obviously, you must use your eyes to watch any of these videos; that's one part of your brain engaged. You have to listen because of not just the awesome music, but also the sound effects for the story in the video; that's another part of your brain engaged. The storyline itself requires you to use yet another part of your brain, comprehension and logic, in order to understand what is going on. All together, especially the musical parts when there are no vocal lines from the characters, it makes a tap in to the emotional part of your brain because the entire thing is ART. That's how it works. :)
I'm telling u no one will tell u of this. This cinematic from lol universe is criminally underrated. So plz react to " Breathe " next. I'm saying this from the very beginning of your lol cinematic reactions and I will keep saying it till u do so.
Hi Mr.Luke good to see you enjoying the league of legend cinematic so much😊. While we are in topic of league, I would like to recommend a cover of "league of legend" song Phoenix by Kaela kovalskia (yes that is her name) she is from Hololive ID, the same branch as moon, Ollie, Risu and Raine...etc. She is so GREAT, but remember, never call her cute or penguin 😂
The first time I heard this cover of the song it was used for a fan animation for a Minecraft lore that had developed with several popular RUclipsrs. Any time I want to have a good cry I just put this on and scream cry weep. No video needed. I don’t even follow this series. Sometimes I think it’s a magic spell.
fucking league of legend always tears on eye watching this trailers , and quality its better and better its good to know that o am not only one to have this feelings watching this
Videogames cinematics that are emotionally powerful are aplenty in Honkai 3rd Impact, some punch us gamers in the feels so much that watching them even after 5 years make us a crying mess like the first time. Just some weeks ago we reached the finale of part 1 of the story, and they released a recap and closure cinematic, no one could finish the cinematic without shedding a river of tears.
It's time you start reacting to the true cinematics (this cinematic is dope tho) that bring a bit of the lore (the stories behind the game and the characters where they come from). Also, it will bring a sense of growth of League of Legends throughout the years. Trust me, you'll love every second of it. PS: All cinematics are roughly about 3 hours of content combined and are divided by videos of 2 minutes or so. So just think about a way to divide it by parts as you may see fit. Also, there's playlists that have all the cinematics by order so you can react from the oldest to the newest. And I'm going to ask this every League of Legends reaction until it happens so don't get upset with me pls 😅
OOOOOOOOOOOh great :D Yea the imagine dragons collab with riot made the song warriors at 2014 but at 2020 riot did this cinematic with the remixed song. It is just epic music and epic cinema at work. You can probably react to Ignite (ft. Zedd) | Worlds 2016 - League of Legends. And yea dont play the game it is a time sink. I spent more than 2600 hours if not more on this game and still did not get higher than platinum... so yea not worth for most of us. We have a love hate relationship with this game. We can always boot it up we can smash people on normals but than you go to ranked and you get shit on, flamed on and so on.
In Order to understand the cinematics, you need to watch Them in chronological Order ( Some characters appear in multiple cinematics). This makes it even more interesting because the Lore is so freaking good
You should react to all the "Tales of Runeterra" videos! There's one for each region of Runeterra with a brief story for context, including Zaun and Piltover!
You should defiantly react to Ruination 2021 cinematic, I think you would like it. If you are also still interested in a book about the lore of the game there is one called "Ruination" and its about the lore of one of the characters in the ruination cinematic and how he became who he is through the pov of 2 different characters.
I would say league is addictive because wins feel amazing while loses feel horrible, so you're right. Also even though league is a skill game there are a lot variables outside of your influence that can impact the game like your teammates, enemy teamcomp etc. So sometimes you can play well but lose or play bad but win. When the results seem random it can lead into addiction as well, this is part of what makes gambling so addictive
Honestly, fiddlesticks' themesong and its animatic are both amazing and very creepy/cool! I'd love to see you react to him! Amazing reaction as always btw~(uωu 人)💕 thank you for being and sharing your wonderful reactions~
Seeing characters you recognize is like seeing your daughters and sons cast into a big movie. Its just amazing seeing them work. For me though, I laughed out loud when Lux ulted the sky. Its just like my solo que games fr fr.
2021 had the Ruination video instead of a song to set up a long term event. 2023 didn’t have a song cause Riot was apparently restructuring a lot and didn’t have a video ready to go, so they put out a crappy esports-centric one. And for real just play LoL with your viewers. You’d probably have a blast that way
Explaining a bit about the "don't play the game" that people who play League always talk about. From an honest perspective, it is a good game with a good core of game mechanics and you do indeed can have a lot of fun. BUT... The community in-game, to other members of the community, are usually very toxic or just generally unhelpful or even traitorous to each other in matches. Saying mean things or purposefully trying to lose or just being really bad or not cooperating (which in team game is a very bad thing). Not only that, balancing of character attributes and skill effects is a very... sensitive topic. There are champions who are overly strong and others who can be personal favorites but are unfairly weak. Besides all that, the game is still pretty addictive due to its high pace, core game mechanics and many other aspects, such as when you get a good team to play with in a balanced match up, it is awesome even when you lose. As such, people who play League usually treat and consider it kind of like a drug addiction, which is bad for you, makes you constantly angry and mad and torture you, but you still can't get away from it or stop playing. That is why people are always telling you "Don't play the game". It's not because it is a bad game, since if it were, it wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is, but because it is a good game that is bad for you.
Glad you liked it , i really suggest you check out "Light and shadow" cinematic from league of legends , the music composer is the same who did the famous Attack on titan ost "youseebiggirl". There is also a cinematic called : "Kin of the stained blade" which has an epic fights scenes.
I got into league of legends back in 2014, and been playing it since. DO NOT PLAY IT, cause you won't leave it ever again, it's addictive, makes you angry, happy, but if you want to keep your sanity, don't play the game! Enjoy the music and cinematics and everything else!

I think the Star Wars Old Republic cinematics would blow your mind!
LoL got a card game version a few years ago with another beautiful cinematic + music video.
“BREATHE” | Official Launch Video - Legends of Runeterra
Also you could always just try and install the game, create a private server with a password, and just play with 9 lucky fans. Now that could actually be a fun video to watch.
Watch Worlds - it’s the League of Legends tournament every year. Quarter finals this year are from Oct 19th 👀✨ usually goes on into November (starts much earlier, like beginning of Oct but not sure exact dates) 🖤
And yes. I ALWAYS tear up with the impact.
It was actually magical to watch him realize who Cait was the to get hit with the wombo combo with Vi literally like 2 secs later
If you think this is an amazing Cinematic as you have fallen into the League of Legends Rabbithole you will need to see even more of them! Seeing your reaction to this & knowing full well who some of the characters are is so great!
I recommend the season 2023 cinematic. One of the most adrenaline pumping cinematics I've ever seen..... /s
@@archaotist3365 ew no.... Riot issued an official apology video on 2023 cinematic because they fucked up BIG. Why would he watch it?
@@mishoka404 Sarcasm, maybe?
@@mishoka404 the "/s" at the end of my comment indicates sarcasm
I mean, i really want him to fall in the Lore rabbit hole, but he's probably falling in the riot cinematics one, which is kinda sad, but it's already something
You should react to the Star Guardians cinematics, there are 3, Burning Bright, Light and Shadow and Evertything Goes On (in that order)
Also, there are the "Tales of Runeterra", those are one for each region
Your face when Arcane girls arrive is just priceless!)
Finally I can stop commenting to watch this 😂 definitely my favourite cinematic
We dont talk about the 2023 cinematic
Hi Mr.Luke good to see you enjoying the league of legend cinematic so much😊.
While we are in topic of league, I would like to recommend a cover of "league of legend" song Phoenix by Kaela kovalskia (yes that is her name) she is from Hololive ID, the same branch as moon, Ollie, Risu and Raine...etc.
She is so GREAT, but remember, never call her cute or penguin 😂
@SaxonBlue I want to say one thing... OutsoLemao
Legends of Runeterra - Breathe cinematic (same world as league of legends!)
The world is actually called Runeterra
The first time I heard this cover of the song it was used for a fan animation for a Minecraft lore that had developed with several popular RUclipsrs. Any time I want to have a good cry I just put this on and scream cry weep. No video needed. I don’t even follow this series. Sometimes I think it’s a magic spell.
We don't talk about the 2023 Cinematic... Forget about it.
We don't talk about the 2023 cinematic haha... If you want more Arcane characters in League Cinematics, watch the Odyssey trailer!
I was about to type exactly this comment. XD
fucking league of legend always tears on eye watching this trailers , and quality its better and better its good to know that o am not only one to have this feelings watching this
Videogames cinematics that are emotionally powerful are aplenty in Honkai 3rd Impact, some punch us gamers in the feels so much that watching them even after 5 years make us a crying mess like the first time. Just some weeks ago we reached the finale of part 1 of the story, and they released a recap and closure cinematic, no one could finish the cinematic without shedding a river of tears.
EVERY TIME!!!
That spider machine dude is Urgot and I believe he's Singeds creation. Singed was the crazy alchemist dude.
1:59 Stops the video to comment... oh my god he gets how fucking awesome this moment is....
They get the emotion correct because they're a music/ animation company who happens to make games on the side.
League of Legends cinematics are just freakin epic.
You should check out the cinematics for Star Wars the Old Republic. Epic and awesome
I love your reaction ❤
In Order to understand the cinematics, you need to watch Them in chronological Order ( Some characters appear in multiple cinematics). This makes it even more interesting because the Lore is so freaking good
Well about the 2023 cinematic, well... , let's just say that there is none.
It's not League related, but I strongly suggest checking out Shelter by Porter Robinson
Luke when he sees a league of legends character in a league of legends video 😲
His reactions one of best I have ever seen ❤
❤️
I would say league is addictive because wins feel amazing while loses feel horrible, so you're right. Also even though league is a skill game there are a lot variables outside of your influence that can impact the game like your teammates, enemy teamcomp etc. So sometimes you can play well but lose or play bad but win. When the results seem random it can lead into addiction as well, this is part of what makes gambling so addictive
Your maybe half way down the rabbit hole man!
Kin of the Stained Blade soon! That's literally a miniature anime episode!
this was the cinematic that finally got me to play league
I would appreciate if you would se all the others trailers and lore cinematics in order, they are so fuckin good!
Lux Elementalist is so beatiful also, and has a great message
Yeah man, these are great. They should make a series or something
4:07 he's Urgot, a champion in League of Legends.
I advise you to watch another video from the League of Legends "Take over"
We do not talk about the 2023 cinematic around here.
Honestly, fiddlesticks' themesong and its animatic are both amazing and very creepy/cool! I'd love to see you react to him! Amazing reaction as always btw~(uωu 人)💕 thank you for being and sharing your wonderful reactions~
Love your reacts bro, I really think you should watch to "A New Dawn", also a League of Legends' cinematic!! It´s AWESOME.
Seeing characters you recognize is like seeing your daughters and sons cast into a big movie. Its just amazing seeing them work. For me though, I laughed out loud when Lux ulted the sky. Its just like my solo que games fr fr.
🥹
Lux ulting her Galio because the Galio only plays locked camera so that he knows to ult via targeting the party list xD
2021 had the Ruination video instead of a song to set up a long term event.
2023 didn’t have a song cause Riot was apparently restructuring a lot and didn’t have a video ready to go, so they put out a crappy esports-centric one.
And for real just play LoL with your viewers. You’d probably have a blast that way
2019 Opening Ceremony of LOL Worlds.
Got to love 2wei's voice. Wouldn't mind if you checked some more music from them :D
*Recommendation* : I saw you had seen all the Food Wars Openings, so would love for you to React to *FOOD WARS* Endings! 🍽
i love your Reactions please more
2:57 Okay we found the caitlyn fanboy! xDDDD
You should really react to all the star guardians cinematics, those go super hard and are really interesting and emotional.
the 2021 cinematic is "Ruination"
2022: The Call
and regarding 2023, we don't talk about the 2023 "cinematic"
As a friend of mine says, "Riot Games is a movie studio that just happens to make video games."
yes, its diff when u know the characters😄
u should react to opening ceremony from worlds, its like a tournament where they play to find who is the best... wont be dissapointed
Have you done legends of runeterra - breathe? Different game but same universe/people making the cinematics, love that one
We don't talk about the 2023 cinematic.
i also highly recommend reacting to LoL Phoenix and Burn It All Down. so good both songs
