@@plumpii7177 Correct. Dennis has a long reach and a lot of connections. I bet much of the time he already knows who is buying the car before he makes an offer.
Years ago making a delivery at a guys house I noticed a old vette in the garage. Asked him about it and sat in it pushed in the clutch for the first time in years! He wouldn't sell it but he said he 4 more in a garage across rown !!!😂😂😂😂😂😊😊

What I like about Dennis is that he isnt afraid to get down on the floor and get dirty to look under a car. Hope the frame and birdcage on that '64 are solid!
That gentleman certainly likes corvettes. Really liked the view from his home looking down on the river. As always Dennis is the quintessential gentleman, say that three times fast! Dennis a big thank you to you and the crew for sharing these amazing finds.

Tennessee is obviously still a treasure trove of cars. I toured there a few ? years ago LOL pre internet days with my brother in law looking for a 65/66 Mustang. We found a fixer upper fast back in Alcoa TN , a 66 4speed car minus eng/tran and paint. Back to Canada it came and got restored and has the Eng/Trans from brother in laws rotted 65 coupe in it. Keep hunting and saving them.
If I could figure out a way to do it, I would pay Dennis to work for him. Just the mentorship, and absorbing some of that knowledge would be so so incredibly priceless!
Dennis knows his stuff, goes right for the numbers, matching motor, i bet the trans is too. Hey we sure would like to see what you have in store for the cars you bought from Richard. Always a class act and boy that did look like good pizza, it was loaded and I love jalepenos, thanks Dennis.
Well he does negotiate on the phone before the video is shot, so you can be sure Dennis is getting his price. This is called OPTICS and you fell for it.
Great find & crazy I lived near Waynesboro {Savannah & Pickwick Dam} for 20 yrs 1996-2016 until I decided to come back to good ol Georgia! Only thing ever scared me was all the tornado activity every year & then one came thru my yard in 2010 destroying half the neighborhood ✌💖☮
I've got to say, the intro was much better today than anything else in the past, it's really nice to not have 10 minutes of infomercials just to watch a Dennis Collins video. Thank you.
Have a safe and great Easter weekend to the Dennis Collins family and Collins's total team of employees and family members. It's not just Zach doing this all by himself, although he feels like it some days. Hahaha hahaha hahaha 🤣❤🎉 I love these year Corvette's and either color would be ok with me, The ultimate color for me would be the original silver with some very fine shiny blue flake in it, Add power steering and power disk brakes and that would be a nice weekender to church. 🎉❤ 🗽 If I won the lottery, a 60s Corvette would be one purchase on the list.
but the best phrase is when he says : What a great day to be alive , yes indeed we shall cherish those moment in our live when it's great to be alive Thank you M.Collins
Waynesboro is the middle of nowhere and wonderful! The Buffalo is an awesome river and where we stay there is no cell reception at all which is major bonus. You have to unplug and enjoy God creation!
Love that old Vette.!!.. I so miss my old '66 Vette convertible. I traded it keys for keys for a '70 Porsche 914-6. Loved that car too as I worked at Road Atlanta and had a BLAST driving that thing on the track. I just wish I still had kept both of them.
I am (71) years old and bought a used [1974 - L82] Corvette in >>> [1980] and totally rebuilt the engine into a racing engine. I knew a person that bought an old early [1960's] Corvette in the late >>> [1970's] and started to totally rebuild it. When the car was on the lift hoist, he pulled on the rear fender to insure that the Corvette was secure on the lift hoist. He littery pulled a large piece of the fender off. After doing a lot of research, he discovered that early Corvette's used very weak "Fiberglass Resin" that would slowly deteriorate through the years. Good Luck...
Dennis sir you got the best job in the world just a fact that some of the cars you find are rare than heck I mean you are a lucky lucky guy and I know it took a lot of hard work to get where you are God bless you sir keep bringing these videos
I don’t remember seeing a corvette in silver blue. For the LS6 454 and 4 speed, that drivetrain is perfect to put into a 1970 Chevelle convertible because they made only 25 or 30 LS6 convertibles. I think the ones with the 4 speed were single digit production numbers
'70 Chevelle had a more powerful LS6 compared to the Vette...11:5 compression 450 hp 500 lb-ft vs 9:1 compression 425 hp 475 lb-ft & the Chevelle would outrun the Vette
Flat Land is the heartland and twisters have been getting worse y'all be safe down there. The Foothills started to see the same ❤ Corvettes never change just GO UP and the rest an't Nothing

In 2004, my wife, son, and I went to Disney World. We left Orlando and headed to Townsend, TN for a big family reunion held at the Highland Manor Inn on Lamar Alexander Pkwy. The first evening there, I was walking around the hotel and parked in the middle of a field next to the hotel, was a 1963 Split Window Vette. It was evident it had been parked there for years because there was a tree that had grown up through the engine compartment. The thing that really struck me was that the car was fitted out as a Mako. Except for the tree growing in it, and the years of sitting there, it was in reasonably good shape. I talked to the people that ran the hotel and they said it belonged to a member of the family who owned the hotel. They said many people had offered to buy it but the owners refused. I often wonder what ever became of it.
