I'm in love with this patch. No lie. Android 7, Blugeta, Gogeta, Piccolo, Jiren, Gotenks.. They're all soooo much better with this patch and just watching matches where people are saucing with them like never before is amazing! They did a good! Well, except for Goku Black.. But we don't talk about him anymore!
Alot of people trying to pick 17 now, he still needs a few buffs actually. His wall jump, 214LMH 236MH and power blitz charge need changes. His new buffs only gave him better converts off air to airs and extremely strong mix off tk, autocombo and 2h. People think his wall jump is fixed its not, if they super dash while you are mid wall jump and havent touched the wall yet you will be hit still and cant do nothing about it.
Well the wall jump isn’t meant to just be blindly used over and over, especially if you’re not already in the corner, it’s good for mix in the corner this patch too, and you can use it better to punish Supers, beams, or any other high recovery attacks that you can’t get too without vanishing or using an extra jump to get to. It’s also good for combos, and most of the time if they can superdash you in time for you to not be able to use the fast fall into ex barrier, you’re not using it right. For no reason should you be using it if you’re close to them and nowhere near the corner and if they superdash you can simply level 1, because 9/10 their superdash won’t be able to catch it until you hit the corner
@@exorder2005 it wouldnt make him busted it would actually let him use the moves. His wall jump for example should have projectile invul, allow you to cancel on startup into anything and crossup that will fix the entire move buff his neutral too.
PhantomEmperor trust me if you could cancel on startup he’d be broken lol, his fast fall mix now is already good with the wall jump in the corner. I honestly don’t think that’s a logical idea to get him immediate cancel options due to his new air moves already being stupid good. He has a better fast fall than adult gohan except it needs half bar. But with the amount of bad 17 builds it’s quite easy to do
I’d like to see them continue on buffing characters instead of nerfs unless the moves are completely broken which I don’t think there’s many in the game. Also, not that he’s bad in any way but I’d like to see Goku black get some buffs to open up his combo routes a little more. I’ve main’d him since day one practically and it’d be nice to see him have more options.

Its a meaty setup I made a long time ago actually that i gave the 17 community when he dropped you 214L into overhead it will beat 2H as the invul is frame 4 so thats why jiren was counter hit out his 2h and even if you delay wakeup 17 can barrier its a very strong oki setup. You can also alter timing to bait reflect
Everyone online probably thinks I'm just picking up 17 now. What they don't realise is I'm a day one 17 main, I just suck.

17 was definitely playable season 2. His ex barrier was only -5 and could cancel into rekka on block. He was actually pretty strong.
