  • Today we take you across the river for lunch at another great spot, Papa Steakhouse. Then we stroll through a new supermarket (kind of like a Costco) and compare some grocery prices, you won't believe what we paid for APPLES!! Then lastly, we take a stroll through the new DaNang Walking Street Market at night. It's a great place to hang out with a tea, coffee or ice cream! Hope you enjoy the stroll.
    Thank you so much for watching!

      Exactly, in Vietnam people flock to the streets at night in large numbers, probably it's cool at night because there is no sunlight at that time (sunlight is very abundant in Vietnam).

In Thailand many people leave their keys in their scooter, and nothing happens. We don't secure our money in any fancy when walking around... we just don't carry much money at all.

    Vietnam is beautiful, but it's so chaotic way more than other SEA countries. It's not for everyone long-term.

      Have you been to the high-income areas of Hanoi? They are independent areas with large green areas, clean, beautiful and quiet and there are no motorbikes or cars parked in the garage or anywhere. You want, there are full restaurants, cafes, gyms, schools, hospitals, swimming pools, lots of lakes and forests and people in that area just live and work there. Apartments range from $1.5-7 million

      @@hopdenreview those are like a city within a city....I like traditional Hanoi.... not the "build it they will come" neighborhoods! 👍

      Nope, that's not true. Just comparing prices from places we've been is all. 👍

    Why do Americans use forks like shovels? Think you need to watch some RUclips videos on knife and fork etiquette.

      @seanmitchell7117 thank you for taking the time to add a ridiculous comment 👍 🤣🤣 How tolerant of you of other cultures....I don't think you'd last in S.E.A! 🤣🤣

      I Spend 3 months every year in various parts of SE Asia and it’s on my travels that i have mostly observed Americans eating like this. Mostly in SE Asia it’s either chop sticks or a Fork and a Spoon. How is it a ridiculous comment it’s a genuine question. Are you taught to use like this or is it just a bad habit picked up going through life.

    • @wattstraveling
      @wattstraveling  7 месяцев назад +1

      It's not a genuine question at all, it's insulting. The way we use our utensils is completely fine..... not sure how one would eat a steak with Chopsticks or a fork and a spoon? Where are YOU from?

    • @seanmitchell7117
      @seanmitchell7117 7 месяцев назад

      I guess you not accustomed to fine dining restaurants then! I was not suggesting you eat your steak with chop sticks i was pointing out the fact that in Most S E Asia countries they are most popular utensils along with fork and spoon. Usually only westerners would be served with a knife and fork. I honestly think it looks so awkward the way you are using a fork.

    • @wattstraveling
      @wattstraveling  7 месяцев назад +1

      @seanmitchell7117 I'd eat the same way no matter what restaurant I was dining in. I believe the term "shovel" when using a dining utensil is when your hand is placed over the handle, not under it.
      If you REALLY want to see awkward, you should see me use Chopsticks 🤣🤣🤣
