We're in An Thuong area. We have a 1 bedroom with large balcony 10 minute walk to the beach. This is the best area of Danang with cute shops restaurants and tree lined streets IMHO. Our building has a pool housekeeping twice a week. All for $500 USD. This is a good deal for this very nice and walkable area. There is no gym. However, I joined the New Gym big modern gym with several floors, very nice equipment and some classes too. Many gyms in Danang do not have A/C. This one does! It costs $9 USD per month. The only do is it's about a 15minute taxi ride. Grab is very cheap and the traffic is so light in Danang compared to other SE Asia cities that it's no bother. Hope this info can help others. Cheers!

Hello again. I was wondering why you don’t want to rent a furnished house instead of an apartment or condo. Most 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms house are about $400 to $550. For 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is about $550 to $700. This way you have the entire house to yourself.
Hi there! We like having a pool and gym, I wouldn't think houses would have these two, maybe a pool? We've never really looked at houses actually, might give it a try next time! 👍 do you have any references as to where these rentals may be? Thanks 👍
@@wattstraveling not in Da Nang. I always visited my city SAIGON (Ho Chi Minh City). I bought a motorcycle there and have my friends kept it so that whenever I go back, I could use it without worrying about renting one. I searched and rented a house for only $200 US a month last year. I don’t know much about Da Nang. That’s why I am currently searching. Found many properties managers to provide this service, but I don’t trust them. Still searching on web sites for RENTAL HOUSES IN DA NANG.
Nice, interesting video, but as an Australian it's kind of annoying that even after travelling all that way a steak is three to four times cheaper than the very cheapest cooked steak I could get here, in the very place the beef originates. Happy for you guys to enjoy it of course.
Pretty much. We've started booking a hotel for the first couple nights, then walk around getting to the know the area and most times just going into the apartment to ask if there's availability! 👍

Sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. 😔 We do not travel using the wise card because it also charges a fee. Before we left Canada we set up an international bank account, where there are no fees on foreign transactions. Many places you can use credit cards, some places (like Vietnam) will card a 3% fee too use your credit card. We've always withdrawn money from local banks with ATM's attached (not stand alone ATM's) and have had no issues. Reach out on Instagram @wattstraveling if you have any more questions! Enjoy ❤️👍
@@wattstraveling thank you for that wonderful advice! We just love watching you guys. We have learned so much.
@@deanerinmiller4043 awe, thank you! 😊
Just stumbled upon your channel. Very interested in Da Nang. I plan on coming back to SEA in November and need a home base. Where are you from in Canada? I'm currently in Alberta. Spent many years in BC before AB. Originally from On. Can't wait to get back to SEA.
Hi there! 👋 we lived in the Niagara region before we headed out, but always lived in Ontario. We are here for 3 months so hopefully we'll be able to give you a good idea of what it's like! 👍 we start filming for our Danang series next week. Wednesday's are our current location so be sure to tune in (we are still posting Malaysia videos. Sundays are a bit more edited videos, once our Malaysia series is done.... onto VIETNAM! .... so stay tuned! 👍 We were also in Northern Vietnam earlier this year, we did a series on that, if you've never been. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! 👍

@@gramps69cd thank you! 😁
Your video footage is very beautiful and attractive, I think you have researched the media, you tell your story very well, but sometimes you should stop talking and add some gentle music, that would be great! I really like Da Nang and Hoi An. Thank you
Those videos are published on Sundays! Our Wednesday walks are strictly vlogs, behind the scene type stuff and just hanging with us. The point of our Wednesday walks is for a more raw, real travel and little editing! 👍 things are evolving in the youtube world and more and more people are attracted to this style of videos. 👍 thanks for watching
Mia means sugar cane . Nuoc Mia is sugar cane juice
Interesting 👍
Nice, interesting video, but as an Australian it's kind of annoying that even after travelling all that way a steak is three to four times cheaper than the very cheapest cooked steak I could get here, in the very place the beef originates. Happy for you guys to enjoy it of course.
My mind was blown by how affordable this steak place is! Thank you for watching from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️
Do you literally land and look for a place ? Lol how do you book a place or rent
Pretty much. We've started booking a hotel for the first couple nights, then walk around getting to the know the area and most times just going into the apartment to ask if there's availability! 👍
Very like for you
Yes, the condo is great! Thanks for watching! 😊
@@wattstraveling would you be my friend
That exact apartment is only between 100 and 200 bucks for locals. Be smart and stop paying 4 times more than it cost.
@GS-uk3ml not true at all, locals would never live in an apartment like this. And we DID look ALL OVER Danang, this was a good price for location and all is amenities it had. We are not young and naive travelers..... and never pay 4 times more for anything 👍 if you know of any places for $100-$200 like this apartment we rented leave there names down below 👍 thanks
keep in mind this is a short term rental price
@@wattstraveling I have lived in Vietnam for 27 years. You obviously have a lot to learn. I just gave you really valuable advice that can save you thousands of dollars but your ego is too big to accept my gift. The ignorant are ignorant of their ignorance. Good luck with everything.
@GS-uk3mlI'm not being arrogant at all. But it would be interesting to find the places you speak about. Nobody likes to feel like they are being ripped off no matter where you're from or how much money you have. I don't consider your words advice when you only say "don't pay that... or you paid too much" tell me where I need to be looking? I'm willing to learn, so teach!
The gym is more expensive than in Oslo, one of the most expensive cities in the world. Ignorant tourists are driving the prices up there. A gym in danang is no more than 5-10 bucks a month. Remember that you vote with your money. Choose wisely.
@GS-uk3ml there were gyms at ALL price ranges.... we thought it was expensive as well.....hence why we didn't go. And tourists always get blamed for driving up the prices.....tourists aren't going to other countries saying "ya....I WANT to pay too much for services" that's what the locals are charging TO the tourists..... in some circumstances tourists don't have a choice but to pay or not go....I chose not to go. 👍
If you’re not using the gym 3-4 times a week then it’s a waste of time and money 👍
It's a good thing we use it daily then! 👍😁
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
👍😊
Love that steak house..so affordable. A good steak meal in the US will cost you 50 dollars per person.
Right! Crazy!!
