Using the air roller and start to compress it as hard as possible it would generate heat and if you release it and you can freeze the surroundings because it absorbs the warmth of the surrounding
So he was creative? I mean Toph did the same thing by figuring out metal bending. Hama learned blood bending through negativity. Water bending is both offensive and defensive. Hama even said you can pull water from practically anywhere. All bending is powerful because they're all forces of nature it really only depends on how one uses it and how creative they can be. One is not really better than the other.
Its the bender that matters, not the element. Monk Gyatso took down a hundred firebenders all powered by Sozin's comet in a close quarters situation and managed to leave his bones sparkling white. Zaheer was an absolute menace and made airbending into an offensive element. Zuko, as portrayed in the final agni kai, implemented what he had learnt from his travels with the gang and used the styles of air water and earth bending during his fire bending, giving him mobility, defence and offence. This is also portrayed when Katara slams Hama's water bending head on, something very reminiscent of Toph's style of fighting and hama herself is extremely shocked at this unorthodox method of fighting.
At that point, katara was just a better bender. Hama spent her years preying on innocent people not actually fighting. Katara eas constantly goning her skills
@@ThatGuy68580 It wasn't explicitly mentioned in story but if you just look at the animation and all the symbolism littered throughout the story such as Iroh teaching Zuko how he learnt lightning redirection from the water benders, its very clear.
@@Gallacant obviously but she stopped the water head on like an earth bender rather than turn the attack on Hama. showing no elements have just 1 style of fighting
I though uncle Iroh said that all elements are balanced , there isn’t a string element but just elements opposing each other . This is explained when uncle iron is teaching zuko how to reflect lighting
The battle between Zuko and Azula highlights the defense of fire bending by showing how Zuko actually studied other forms of bending to incorporate them into his fighting style
Well ya but I don't really think shooting a bit of fire at a boulder coming at you or something is really gonna stop it 😂 Most likely it's gonna get really hit and burn you real bad while hitting you at the same time
@@panospapadimitriadis1300 I didn't watch the show a long time but as i remember The elements colliding is not what happens in real life In the series it is more balanced Different elements with the same amount/size of them colliding will be equall
@@oj214 agreed. However, while air is often understimated. I don't think it's the strongest element. I would definitely rate it as follows: 1. Water, it is one of the most versatile and potentially strongest elements. Being able to incapacitate, block and redirect all while flowing seamlessly into each other. It's incredibly strong defensively and no slouch in offense. One could even reverse heal with water (aka cause major damage to the chi in someone, preventing them from bending, similar to how Amon takes away bending permanently). Not to mention bloodbending is without a doubt the most powerful form of bending. 2. Earth, a good earthbender like toph could encase themselves in an airtight rock formation and disappear into the ground at will, popping up where an Airbender might not expect, to deliver a quick and decisive blow if/when the opportunity presents itself. Jianzhu and Yun show the potential of earth quite well in the Kyoshi novels. 3. Air, i place air as 3rd because of the way they fight. Being nearly impossible to hit, tiring their opponents quickly and being able to keep going for a very long time. Their bending has a lot of potential, however like Kelsang showed, it's not without flaws. 4. Fire. While fire is an incredibly strong element offensively, it's defenses leave a lot to be desired. If a firebender cannot hit or penetrate the enemies defendes they are done for. Lightning bending is one of the stronger sub-skills, which i haven't taken into account. It greatly enhances the 1 hit kill ability and is hard to dodge. However, it keeps the tradition of firebending being extremely agressive and limited defensively. It still has potential, potentially even more as air, but where an Airbender is very strong defensively with weaker (but many) attacks. an Airbender can dictate when and where to fight. combustion bending is another extremely powerful (but dangerous) skill, similar to Lightning. Great offensively, but still limited defensively. In fact if used at the wrong time, it will end you instead of the enemy (imagine a rock pillar shooting up 50 cm in front of your face, when creating a massive explosion).
Y'all know waters the best in all honesty I can say that even if Earth's my favourite.water does healing, can take away bending, can freeze someone's heart, can blood bend, if you bend ice you can basically make it look like earth if you want, you can basically make vapour look like air bending, you can redirect and it's such a versatile element, if someone is as intune with water as toph is with air you can probably do hydrosensing, you can literally even control spirits with water bending (unilaq)....no shade to my favourite element or the others but water is just " that element" honestly
Air is at the bottom since they cannot beat their glaring weakness which is getting cuffed with metallic chains. They can't break that. The other bendings have means of escaping that. Also, as technology gets more advanced, even a nonbender can easily subdue them by having access to these machineries that can fire projectile metallic nets and cuffs.
i think a big reason zaheer was so untouchable, (aside from just him beeing a badass in general) is beecause no one has any practice dealing with an airbender opponent. and fire has some defensive options, although we only saw 1 user who demonstrated that level of control but jeong jeong showed you could create & hold walls of fire.
Also zaheer was already a very proficient opponent even before he acquired airbening so he was able to use airbending in a unique way that hadn't been done before
Fire bending is so underrated, people discount it because the show didn’t portray fire or explosions accurately, but in real life, one solid hit and you win. Fire is HOT
the crazy thing with air is, since we are the audience they animate and draw the air gusts and what not so we can see but when you think about it, you wouldn’t be able to see air bending at all. Its literally invisble
Sozin was just genocidal, we have no reason to believe he ever had any intention of taking Air Nation prisoners-he just wanted to wipe out the Air Nation in an attempt to break the avatar cycle. But you have a point, they are exceptionally hard to capture/imprison but we’ve seen it done since Zaheer is still locked up and we’ve seen airbenders get captured and have to be saved before.
Yea, but the reason Sozen want to attack the airbender was becs he knew the next avatar will be reincarnated there It says in the show Then thinking he gets him he start taking the water bender from the south water tribe becs he think that the avatar was killed wich the others water bender
@@nicolas._.2294 The reason he tried to kill the avatar is because he knew he coudnt imprison him. Why whold he try to kill the avatar when he knows that the avatar will reicarnate? That would be dumb.
@@technos_orphan_obliterator well if he can kill the avatar enough of times then at a moment The avatar will reincarnated in the fire nation and you know that all the kids are brainwashed from little We have seen this in season 3 Or maybe he tried to broke the avatar cycle do the avatar would be never reborn Just my theory
@@nicolas._.2294 Its possible that he was trying to get the Avatar to be born in the fire nation again but even that wouldn't have worked. Airbend's most deadliest technique : suffocation. Waterbend's deadliest technique : bloodbend Eartbend's dangerous technique : lavabend Firebend's destructive technique : lighting generation I like the music background you use!!
There could be something like Metal bending in the body. Non-canon, but couldn't a real powerful Metal bender just bend the Iron in the body and turn it into a puppet ? That would be real hard though, considering the amount there is, but there is still a chance right ?
Actually is being theorized more about earth benders being able to bend someone bones. This because the Episode where Bumi was introduced. Bumi bent his bones to look smaller than he really was. I think that could be worse than blood bending
@@Bread_Jinie yh spoiler for kioshy comics: It was said that earthbenders were able to do that but they forgot how to do it bc it was so rare or smth (and it was like 1000 of years ago)i dont remember that good anymore and it was not as strong as bloodbending
How? You cannot defend against rocks very well with any other element. Earth is underrated, imagine someone hurls a bunch of football sized rocks at you like the blast from a shotgun, or they just sink into the ground and disappear, or they sink you into the ground to suffocate or they turn the ground under your feet into a bunch of spikes or a deep pit, or they construct a room around you and crush you inside.
❓Question could a blood Bender Force another Bender to bend their elements like a puppet? Like could a blood bender puppet a fire bender and force the fire bender to set fires against their will?
Earth also has lava bending which is insanely strong. And blood bending sure is strong but its really really rare for someone to be able to do it let alone when its not full moon. And its not like with zaheer flying because you cant dedicate yourself and practice it.
I was looking for someone to comment this for earth but also like blood bending is it very rare, only 2 people in the avatar saga including korra have been able to lava bend
sure, but monk giatzo killed like 30 boosted fire benders on his own, and thats a peaceful monk, imagine what would happen if you dedicated yourself to battle with air, imagine separating the molecules in water and stoping fire by removing the oxygen.
That’s because it doesn’t have good defense and it almost conquered the world because the whole fire nation attacked in fact they got beat by northern air temple which barely had any benders that’s why the whole air temple got whipped out because they were outnumbered
Suffocation technique belongs to Yang Chen I believe, Zaheer is just creative and informed enough to pull it off at will because of his constant studies about Airbending and Guru Laghima
@@richardjames6613 Kyoshi did it in a comic. People say air benders can burst people and earth benders can bend bones. But they don’t. Waterbenders can freeze people’s insides if they’re gonna apply that logic.
@@medicineisherewell to be fair Yang Chen can scream so loud it shook the spirit world without the avatar state. But people don’t realize earth benders can only bend iron because it isn’t PURIFIED
Yea but ever air nomad knows how to glide with their gliders so it’s not really much difference they still can use 1 hand bending techniques. I’m surprised a bunch of air temples resulted in total annihilation when they could have just glided for dozens of miles without resting. No tracks to trace, cloud cover etc
@@Cloudcity20 yea but even then all they have to do is slow their descent with air bending. And zahear still lost against the non flying air benders so 🤷🏽♂️ not that op.
I say it’s water, reason being that yes, if you’re being suffocated then you may die. But this move can be stopped if they lose their concentration. Bloodbending can remove someone’s abilities, you can stop their heart, and bend peoples brains so that they can explode or detach as your brain is mostly water. You can instantly kill someone with blood bending. With normal water bending and ice bending you can freeze them
@@0PointSoulyeah bc of PIS. Hama literally a much weaker blood bender and the creator said herself that NO ONE can get out of her grip unless you know the technique yourself. Also Korra didn’t really beat Amon in a fight she just pushed him out a window, he gave up bc he was exposed as a fraud (still very much PIS) he could have easily finished Korra off and taken the rest of her bending. Also by that logic fire bending is more powerful bc Mako broke out with lightning.
@@T-i-Z-X in the body, air only exist in the lungs. Air bending does not equate to oxygen bending, if that's what you're presuming. That's why we don't call airbenders = waterbenders (water have oxygen). Hence, the only feats an airbender could do in inflicting damage WITHIN someone's body are: asphyxiation (as what Zaheer did), and lung explosion-where basically the lung collapses due to air pressure, but doesn't really explode in a literal sense since air in the lungs is not tightly sealed to even create that huge pressure, since we have noses and mouths that easily release the air we breathe. The reason why only waterbenders/bloodbenders are the only ones capable of really exploding someone from the inside, is because blood is tightly sealed in our blood vessels, and water is sealed in all our cells. And since the membrane in our cells allow easy transport of water via aquaporins, then waterbenders can exploit this physiological mechanism to either explode someone by manipulating the body and cell's osmotic pressure, or dehydrate a human dry by taking out the body's moisture and water content.
Honestly, I’d have to say water bending is the most powerful. It’s versatile and flexible. It can heal, attack, defend, and the forms it comes in can be incredibly useful. Switching between ice, to steam and to plain water can really throw an opponent off guard, yet it can also be incredibly useful to get rid of impurities and end up with clean drinking water. It’s incredible how much innovation comes with those kinds of techniques. Just a personal opinion though, and truth be told, all the elements are powerful in their own right.
It's weakness is that it's the slowest bending. More time is taken to perform an offensive attack and even to defend in water than any other element. They're not that fast.
@@Kizito311not really that slow. Have you seen how Master Paku fought? Have you seen how Korra fought using waterbending? that was pretty quick to me. Any bending can be fast (or slow). it depends on the bender, not on the element. And besides, a psychic bloodbender trumps all other benders. a bloodbender can defeat another bender even before the fight starts. Yacone didn’t even need to lift a finger and he rendered everyone in the courtroom unconscious. He just had to think it. If Aang didn’t enter the Avatar State, Yacone could have killed Aang.
@@blainetuan3689 air benders can take the life of every living creature simple removing the oxygen from the atmosphere without anyone ever seeing them.
You can conduct lighting with water Generate earth quakes from aquaphers And also do a suffocation by create a bubble around one’s head Water is by far the most powerful
I agree with your ranking of fire but it can definitely be used for defense-we’ve seen Jeong Jeong, Azula and Zuko make defensive fire walls before. I’d say fire is tied with air as the most accessible element due to it coming from within.
@@jaryncoleman208 Idk fire still is mainly offense; even their defense is really just often flames used defensively. So I can see why it’s last since firebending isn’t all that useful compared to the other elements when not fighting. Even tho it’s last, no one can say fire is the weakest combatively-those mfs still took over the whole damn world
You can also never get uncomfortable from getting too hot or too cold with Airbender. Tenzin said that once the new Airbender learned Airbending then they would be able to bend the air closest to their skin and always be room temp.

If a psychic bloodbender bloodbent a lavabender before a lavabender moves, the battle is over. but yeah, lavabending when unstopped and unleashed is incredibly destructive.
People tend to forget some have stronger connection to the element than others therefore not every earth bender can metal bend or lava bend, there is also no confirmation that an earth bender can control both metal and lava it’s either one of the two subs Blood benders are even more rare in the life time of Aang and Korra there are only 5 known bloodbenders
@@rage9667i think blood bends require a lot of practice u can see that on korra s1 but most people can’t because it is dangerous and moreover blood bendings are banned
All elements are equal, it's the bender, their power, knowledge and skill that can change the game. Azula was hands down one of if not THE most powerful and terrifying fire benders ever portrayed, her father and uncle were the only ones who could actually put her in check with effort.
I still think water is the best element because how much the water bending villans accomplished. I mean water helped destroy rava the spirit of light and was the only element so far to be able to calm spirits or destroy someone's soul

i would take the mobility of airbending+being able to suffocate people ngl bloodbending isnt gonna do much since there arent even that many bloodbenders having water bending dont mean u will just learn bloodbending
Meanwhile water tribes getting bodied by fire benders on their home turf while also in the full moon: "yeah we should totally be second" And also bloodbending is the rarest form of bending, you couldn't just "learn" it
Good point, firebenders should win against waterbenders most of the time by virtue of having lightning at their disposal, however if the fight was to take place in a pro bending arena, waterbenders have a huge amount of water at their disposal And also the northern water tribes loss was more so due to their internal issues, like waterbending only for the men, so that Greatly weakened their strength, imagine if that rule was in the fire nation, prodigies like azula would never realize their full potential
Water was losing because they were blasting giant fire balls and because of the small population of water bending people compared to the giant fire bending population? There were fleets of fire nation ships, but there was just a city of people. The watertribe was outnumbered. It sounds stupid but they were

Fire is the main source of energy or power, that's why fire nation technology is way more advance than the other nation, and that's the reason they manage to dominate the world without avatar in the show
If there is plenty of water and there is enough pressure, water can cut even diamonds so it can cut through anything making it crazy strong While you can make air pockets for you to breathe under water you have leas effort swimming You can become human torpedo You can have water jet skis if you have enough water You can make out of falling from height if you just make an ice slide for a sweet landing You can use your sweat to cut through things like Kitara did you can potentially fly above water bodies You can defend yourself from fire and cut through rocks and metal. So water for me and the healing is always a plus one
The strongest element is the element of friendship because that's the element that got Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, and Suko to work together. And when you have four master benders, including one that is the Avatar and has mastered them all, plus Sokka's ingenuity, you get a literal unstoppable force. Not the four nations combined could've bested the Gaang.
Not necessary. Just because Zaheer used suffocation as a finisher move, it doesn't imply that it's only done on defenseless opponents, that's purely Anecdotal.
Nah water gotta be the best. You get healing, blood bending which takes way less than suffocating and is more efficient , freezing stuff, flying using a tornado like koora did and is as accessible as air since that water bender that taught Katara how to water bend also showed her she can grab water from thin air.
Yep that’s right it’s crystal clear neither Lin or suyin could beat kuvira cuz kuvira was too damn good cuz she was determined and committed to achieve that goal and she almost did if it wasn’t for the avatar who was the only one capable of stopping her
Ehh. Yh but air is so op. If they can bend metal because there are rock molecules in it then technically air can bend anything because there are air molecules in everything
If we are being real here I would say water and air are both contenders for the top spot. The deciding factor is the user of the element. Any of these two can beat each other depending on who just make mistake.
which they have actually shown once. So the only reasons the airbenders weren't world conquerors is because they didn't want to be. And they didn't use this overpowered technique because they didn't want to kill
@@Shadowserpant00true but think about it taking all the air out of your lungs or filling your lungs up until you implode on yourself or literally flying you to the upper Atmosphere and dropping or throwing you into space that are force to be reckoned with. Multiple times in the show we see fire used defensively. Zuko uses his bending to create a shield around himself when his ship explodes (if you look closely it's an orb around him). Azula uses a similar technique when she shoots iroh and team Avatar attack her simultaneously. On top of that, strategically using fire can create a large variety of zoning and defensive opportunities. I'm not saying it shouldn't be 4 because honestly it's countered by every other element, I'm just saying it's got very strong defensive capabilities.
@@dhollins where exactly lol even during the sozin comet, Bumi was able to block fire easily. Azula wasn't able to penetrate thick wall made by Toph until she uses lightning.
It makes it even more crazy when you realize people can’t actually see air bending. It is only visible in the show for the viewer but the creators confirmed ppl in the atla universe cannot see the air bending
Yakone is the proof that water bending (and blood bending) is the strongest ability in the show. He easily overpowered everyone including Aang at the court house and only lost to Avatar State hax
Zaheer dosent count. He was the first person in hundreds of years that was able to fly. He was the exception. Remember, not only did he wipe the floor with all the other elements, but he beat the air benders too. Fire is the true number 1. It is probably the hardest to master besides maybe air but its raw power is just too much. Not to mention that every 100 years they are able to destroy the world.
They're all equal, and fire is destructive, zuko vs earthbenders while he was traveling shows how his fire cut through the earth block! Also agni kai shows how destructive it can be when the comet comes
First off, he wasn't a prodigy Airbender. He studied Airbender culture religiously. He was considered very dangerous without even being able to bend originally. He could ONLY fly because he saw his girlfriend's head blow up. He fought the way an Airbender would before he could bend.
I completely agree that water and air is the most powerful “elements”, In bending and in any other magic system because they’re just too dang useful for an innumerable reasons.
I'd rate fire above earth. A skilled firebender is quick on his feet and able to evade any attacks he can't burn away with his fire. Plus firebending gives you he ability to fly, which isn't as good as airbending flight but still extremely useful. Plus the average firebender is way too opressive in his offense to need much defense. Zuko accidentally burning Toph's feet is a perfect example of how dangerous fire really is and how easily a firebender can hurt you if you're not on your toes.
Fire flight has only been done by two benders that I can think of. I generally refrain from using fringe cases as an argument for the entire element. For the masses, Virtually any fire attack is easily defended by an Earth bender and the entire ground is your enemy. Like fr, Earth bending underrated.
For me it's : 1 : Water. ( healing powers , able to controle blood , able to freeze .. ) 2 : Earth. ( Really good for offense and defence , lava bending , metal bending.. And 1 underrated : Sand bending ) 3 : Fire. ( explosive , able to fly , bending of electricity .. Could be a pain in the ass for waterbenders ) 4 : Air. ( able to fly , and Tornado's are kinda badass 😅😂 )
I mean, techinically all 4 elements could be absoloutly brutal if used with enough malice. Water, tear the blood OUT of the body. Earth, Iron in the blood, calcium in the bones.. Air, suffocate, or create a vaccume Fire, spontanious combustion, there are flamable gasses inside the body...
Well you have to master bloodbending ( a subbending ) to defeat an air bender while any air bender can suffocate people easily ( zaheer who wasn't even an expert , killed the earth queen easily with suffocating)
Here's what I think about Air bending. I can fuck you up from miles away without needing to get anywhere near you or your tribe, I just have to know where your direction is. And, if you're strong enough, you can break anything with wind just like how Aang Obliterated half of that rock pillar (a reference to his fight with Ozai) like it was nothing.
I would say that Zaheer is the strongest air bender because dude learned it in a day in the physical part 💀 but I think it took him years in the spiritual realm to learn it even though there is no bending in the spiritual realm and he’s also lucky that he had an ancestor that gave him air bending.
I feel like Water and Air are interchangeable because Water is probably just as abundant as air and it has better sub bendings or sub bendings period and theoretically you could just make a bubble of water around you're opponent's head and make them run out of air or make an ice block out of it
My list would be: 4 - Earth: while having the most offshoots (metal, lava, and sand bending,) it has the least accessibility, although great for defense and offense. 3 - Fire: While less versatile than earth bending, fire bending is much more accessible due to it being generated by the users inner breath, but can also come from external sources. Also lightning bending is pretty strong as well, as most people can’t redirect. It also uses a strong offense as a good defense as seen from Jeong-Jeong when he creates huge fire walls. 2 - Water: this is a close race for first due to waters extreme versatility and possible extreme potency. Water can be used for healing, can generate ice for offense and defense, and more dangerously, blood bending. While less accessible than fire bending for obvious reasons, it’s still strongly accessible as it can possibly be generated by the user via sweat as demonstrated by Katara, as well as taken out of plant life by skilled users demonstrated by Hama. Blood bending, while being extremely rare, is extremely potent, as you can puppet anyone, break bones, and “permanently” block a persons bending. Psychic blood bending takes it to a whole new level, as it is EXTREMELY potent and deadly. The only crux to this is that it has been seen to be overcome by the avatar, someone with enough will and even a little distraction or hesitation by the user (as seen by Mako), and overcome by a stronger blood bender as seen by Amon and even Katara against Hama. 1 - Air: Air is probably the most accessible of the elements, can be used for terrific defense as demonstrated by the Air Nomads as well as terrifying offense as demonstrated by Zaheer. Air bending can most notably be used to suffocate someone (as seen by Zaheer) or potentially a group of people (a fan theory about Gyatso’s final fight.) Air is always accessible and can even be used to fly and or glide, as well as enhance the speed of the user as seen by Aang. While less versatile than water, it’s use in both offense and defense, as well as accessibility make it stronger. Also, the suffocation technique has yet to be seen to be overcome. Also also, hypothetically, a bender can perform a psychic suffocation technique just like blood bending. Of course, this has yet to be seen or proven, but it’s definitely a possibility making air bending that much more potent and dangerous! Thanks for coming to my TED Talk :)
@@joshburns6116 in ATLA, is possible to remove an earth bender from having access to their element. Every other form of bending, you can’t be taken from your bending element, or it can be self produced. Not it’s inaccessible, just the least accessible
@@Spiceodog you can definitely generate sweat at a pretty easy level, doesn’t even require bending to generate sweat. By being less accessible, I mean the circumstances required to remove an earth bender from having access to earth is much easier than removing water from a water benders reach. Both are very accessible though
Technically, an airbender can bend all the other 3 elements. #1 You can create an agitation in the air molecules to cause fire by high temperature and bend/guide the fire by giving air as combustible. #2 Air has both hydrogen and oxygen, water is H2O (2 molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen), so you can bend it by bending the "air" component in the water. #3 You can both create a sand whirlwind or use air to slice a block of earth and throw it away. You can hear/whisp high distances by bending the air to make it keep agitating with sound waves.
Actually. There are so much more ways in which all elements can be learned. For example - low pressure with fire, simple physics. By creating a space of high temperature, you increase the pressure inside it, with which you can throw hot air blasts like the shock waves. Basic lava bending can be used to forge some blades or armour of enormous endurance. And air... Air is everywhere. Without air there can not be fire. Air is in 90 percent of materials. You can hold anything with air just by compression, like buildings mountains or smth else. Water is badass too. With blood bending you can eradicate cities and armies by just exploding people around. Like Dr. Manhattan.
I think with a strong enough bender Airbenders can do similar feats to blood bending since blood is rich in oxygen and the lungs are full too. A single air bubble in the wrong place can cause the bends
@@jaryncoleman208 unless your also a blood bender . Katara showed that bloodbenders can bend there own blood to function properly when under the attack of another blood bender

This isn’t the question. This is what is the strongest element. NOT What is the strongest element in Avatar show. In the show everyone is terrified of fire benders. The fire nation completely wiped out and dominated all air temples and benders. They imprisoned many many earth benders. And they were able to take the northern water tribe fortress until Aang had to step in with the avatar state. Fire is the most powerful destructive thing in the show besides the Avatar.
Think back to the scene where Aang found Gyatso. It was ONE airbender in that building, and over a dozen fire nation corpses. Whatever Gyatso did to them was BRUTAL.

Another reason why air is so powerful is because it’s everywhere and can’t really be restrained, unlike the other 3 elements
I love how every element ranking is completely different. On another ranking I saw Air was at the bottm lol
Yeah, many people underestimate the capabilities of air. And they ignore the essence of each elements. Uncle Iroh explains it well.
@@oj214 agreed.
However, while air is often understimated. I don't think it's the strongest element.
I would definitely rate it as follows:
@@arvinr.912 I fully agree with you I just found it funny how much these lists differ lol
i think a big reason zaheer was so untouchable, (aside from just him beeing a badass in general) is beecause no one has any practice dealing with an airbender opponent. and fire has some defensive options, although we only saw 1 user who demonstrated that level of control but jeong jeong showed you could create & hold walls of fire.
Also zaheer was already a very proficient opponent even before he acquired airbening so he was able to use airbending in a unique way that hadn't been done before

Water has oxygen in it and fire needs oxygen to survive and earth is tricky TBH. Air bending doesn’t have a weakness.
@@Kizito311not really that slow. Have you seen how Master Paku fought? Have you seen how Korra fought using waterbending? that was pretty quick to me. It makes it even more crazy when you realize people can’t actually see air bending. It is only visible in the show for the viewer but the creators confirmed ppl in the atla universe cannot see the air bending
Fire shields, a fire wall and other defensive moves have been shown on multiple occasions in the show
Yakone is the proof that water bending (and blood bending) is the strongest ability in the show. He easily overpowered everyone including Aang at the court house and only lost to Avatar State hax
Not to mention u r quicker to kill using blood-bending then suffocation.
@@lynishereLol you can't kill using blood bending
@@theartofmusic714 Ofc u can
That's because Yakone was such a powerful bender, not because waterbending is more powerful, only him and his sons could do that
@@theartofmusic714Kyoshi froze someone’s heart and that wasn’t considered blood bending so realistically any bender can do that it’s just immoral
If I could choose an element, I would choose earth bending. You can do so much cool stuff with it. I’m gonna be bob the builder
Fr amazing short
Thanks brodieee:)
They're all equal, and fire is destructive, zuko vs earthbenders while he was traveling shows how his fire cut through the earth block! Also agni kai shows how destructive it can be when the comet comes
Zahear was also a prodigy Airbender gets his hands on airbending and is able to fly many Master airbenders can't even do that
First off, he wasn't a prodigy Airbender.
Firebending doesnt have defense
Earth benders use rocks or metal to fly, they literally just stand on them and bend.
I think he's saying like overall the element is limited , even the most skilled azula struggles to fight and capture aang
Fire flight has only been done by two benders that I can think of. I generally refrain from using fringe cases as an argument for the entire element. For the masses, Virtually any fire attack is easily defended by an Earth bender and the entire ground is your enemy. Like fr, Earth bending underrated.
The down side of earth bending is that you could just stretch your arms and rip your goddam house in half
Nein weil du das mit absicht machen musst und es nicht unabsichtlich passiert nur weil du deine arme oder hände bewegst 🤔😅🤦🏻
@@luc_man2104its was a joke bruv
For me it's :
1 : Water. ( healing powers , able to controle blood , able to freeze .. )
2 : Earth. ( Really good for offense and defence , lava bending , metal bending.. And 1 underrated : Sand bending )
3 : Fire. ( explosive , able to fly , bending of electricity .. Could be a pain in the ass for waterbenders )
4 : Air. ( able to fly , and Tornado's are kinda badass 😅😂 )
Not that blood bending can stop your heart but ok..let’s go with air🤣🤣🤣🤣
I mean, techinically all 4 elements could be absoloutly brutal if used with enough malice.
Water, tear the blood OUT of the body.
Earth, Iron in the blood, calcium in the bones..
Air, suffocate, or create a vaccume
Fire, spontanious combustion, there are flamable gasses inside the body...
Me and my buddies were talking about it and I was thinking imagine being able to take out the oxygen from peoples lungs, that shit would be terrifying
Imagine halting blood flow to the brain though.

Bro just straight up making stuffs lmao

Nerds like me talking about how he forgot energy bending:😡😧🫠
you can't fight with energy bending
I would say that Zaheer is the strongest air bender because dude learned it in a day in the physical part 💀 but I think it took him years in the spiritual realm to learn it even though there is no bending in the spiritual realm and he’s also lucky that he had an ancestor that gave him air bending.
I have liked this short ❤
Thankss
Bro, imagine if the show got into bone bending
Or a fire bender igniting the oxygen inside someone or removing the heat from their bodies.
I feel like Water and Air are interchangeable because Water is probably just as abundant as air and it has better sub bendings or sub bendings period and theoretically you could just make a bubble of water around you're opponent's head and make them run out of air or make an ice block out of it
My list would be:
4 - Earth: while having the most offshoots (metal, lava, and sand bending,) it has the least accessibility, although great for defense and offense.
How does earth have the least accessibility literally just about everything they walk on is earth
@@joshburns6116 in ATLA, is possible to remove an earth bender from having access to their element. Every other form of bending, you can’t be taken from your bending element, or it can be self produced. Not it’s inaccessible, just the least accessible
Unless your a master level where you can blood bend or draw water form plants, earth is definitely pre accessible
@@Spiceodog you can definitely generate sweat at a pretty easy level, doesn’t even require bending to generate sweat. By being less accessible, I mean the circumstances required to remove an earth bender from having access to earth is much easier than removing water from a water benders reach. Both are very accessible though
Finally someone who gets it. AIR IS THE MOST POWERFUL!!!
People saying water bending is the strongest until I start eating fish sticks
Zaheer is an amazing villain.. like you cant change my mind.. he was so well writen
Finally someone with fax
Ain’t give evidence for nothing and most video on this I’ve seen have been the same as his
Technically, an airbender can bend all the other 3 elements.
Facts
Tell me you've never watched ATLA and TLOK without telling me you've never watched ATLA and TLOk

Fire is the most powerful destructive thing in the show besides the Avatar.
agreed, fire is the second most powerful bending
Think back to the scene where Aang found Gyatso.
It was ONE airbender in that building, and over a dozen fire nation corpses.
Whatever Gyatso did to them was BRUTAL.
That's 1 guys feat. Can't apply that to your average airbender. Just like you can't take Iroh's or Azula's feats and apply them to your average firebender
