I beg to differ. The two most beautiful are Oxana Fedorova and Carolina Iszak. It's a shame that Carolina lose out of MU and also a bigger shame that she did not compete at another international pageant like MW or MI.

There have been 72 Miss Universe winners, 71 Miss World winners, over 60 Miss Internationals, over 20 Miss Earths, over a dozen Miss Supranationals and Miss Grands, thousands of national and local pageant winners, blah, blah, blah..... No offense to any woman, but how arrogant and ignorant to think that a Top 100 would be easy to list. Each pageant typically has its own particular criteria that defines its winners. And then beauty standards have changed over the decades. Come up with the names of 50 women from the last 70 years, from at least 20 various pageants, representing at least 20 different nationalities....and then MAYBE your selections will have validity.

There’s no such thing as the best Miss Universe from the Philippines. All the winners from the Philippines were winners in their own right.

Shamcey Supsup, Janine Togonon, and Ariella Arida are graduated Cum Laude from elite Philippines Universities. Even Venus Raj is cum laude. Raising the bar? The South African girl is a Doctor and Venezuela is a Lawyer. Beauty Queens traditionally have college degrees from top universities. Catriona is great. But her fans make no sense with their hyperboles.

@@eduardochavacanobeauty pageant is not all about what you have achieved in college, no matter you have those Latin honors or highest scholastic records blablabla, or the highest educational background, though the judges do not seem to recognize those as long as you have an impressive platform like what Catriona did, she worked in the slums of Tondo, she had this organization called Young Focus, a platform where in children from impoverish family have the privilege to learn and study to break the cycle of poverty… Its all about beauty pageant and advocacy, and the judges were impressed of Catriona’s advocacy aside from her best execution and performance in the actual pageant night….Catriona is Catriona….. dId Pia achieve higher educational background? Charismatic and soooo outspoken. Traits that rarely come in combination with Filipina queens.
Don’t worry about Chelsea, all winners of our local pageants undergo rigid and personality development trainings before they embark on their respective international competitions. Catriona then was also reserved but after training she became sociable and extrovert.

Last year was rigged by the Latinx judges. Michelled Dee is the most awarded MU candidate ever - advocacy, natcos and the shipping line award. She gave the best evening gown and performance. They know she will eat and leave no crumbs in QandA so they took her away and exclude in the Top5.

1. Tondo is a rural area in Manila Philippines, where there are slum areas with poor settlers. ; 2. CATRIONA red gown represents the lava from Mt Pinatubo, which erupted last 1991.it was huge that some parts of the world noticed some effects.

Brian, after winning the National Pageant, the MU Philippines team will prepare the Philippine Representative to the Miss Universe Chelsea Manalo through intensive training. Catriona Gray went to an intense training too. It's like an fighter preparing for a great war.

I don't think the Philippines is overdue to winning miss Universe. I think, instead, that the philippines is due to learn that when success is successive, we have to maintain the standards at high levels, never dropping the ball, never taking the eyes off the crown and expect to place instead. The philippines has to always expect that there are other girls who will suddenly perform way better and might be seen by the judges. We should always keep our guards up. Look at what happened to Michelle Dee, right?
Chelsea needs to know that hard truth and she needs to work her ass off tripple hard to nail all the interviews that she has to undergo.
1. Chealsea needs to Nail the interviews by showing that she can do the job.
2. Chelsea has to Be grounded always and be proud of her roots and confidently answer all the questions about it with all her heart.
3. Chelsea has to also nail all of her stage work from prelims to finals.
4. Chelsea has to have a hell of a team that will elevate her. She has to be given a voice and a say as to how she wants to represent and present the Philippines.
5. Chelsea has to also be impeccable off cam and off stage as well as on cam and on stage.
Chelsea is more reserve while Catriona is more outspoken but I can see some traits from Chelsea that she will nail the Ms universe competition she will shine will give her amazing effort to really win.Goodluck!!Chelsea ,impress them with your unique self.
