    You're in the market for a new toaster. You've read reviews and researched, but you can't make up your mind. The Breville BTA730XL Bit More 4 Slice Toaster has various features that set it apart from other toasters on the market. Here are five of the most unique ones:
    1. The toaster has a "Lift and Look" feature that allows you to see how your toast is cooking without removing it from the toaster.
    2. The toaster has a "Bit More" function that allows you to add a few seconds of toasting time in case your toast isn't entirely done.
    3. The toaster has a "Bagel" mode that toasts the bagel's cut side and warms the bagel's inside.
    4. The toaster has a "Defrost" mode that defrosts frozen bread quickly and evenly.
    5. The toaster has a "Reheat" mode that reheats previously-toasted bread without over-toasting it.
    The Breville BTA730XL Bit More 4 Slice Toaster is perfect for anyone who wants flexibility and precision when toasting their bread or bagels.

    We just bought this toaster. Something I haven’t t heard a reviewer talk about is how solid this toaster is. Operating the buttons, slider, and lever feel super quality. Very pleased. We have a Breville microwave, same experience there too. Great products.

      What? Breville microwave handles fall apart from what ive heard. Not something you should have to deal with considering how expensive they are.

    This toaster gets a 92 rating from consumer reports. The highest rating of all the toasters they rated.

      Still enjoying this toaster, very much. Plus, it looks really good sitting on our counter, just an added bonus.

    Solid review. I did not know you could use the "little bit more" feature after the normal toasting cycle was completed

    Hey This is a nice toaster. I think if you purchase this one it should allow you to turn off one of the slots.
    Nice tutorial

      Probably one of the most asked for features on this toaster. It's like toaster engineers have never needed to toast just one piece of toast. Honestly, it doesn't bother me, I like the toaster too much.

      Well another brand has one piece slice bread toasting. Not sure if it will turn down power to other slot or slots

    Seems like a waste of energy when using one slot but both slots heating elements are on. It should either have two levers like a regular 4 slot toaster has or a button that will make only one slot operate when not using both slots. Not only does it waste energy, it will unnecessary heat up your kitchen in the summer.

    3:29 I actually just got one of these toasters and you won't believe it but I went to our local Goodwill and there it was I tested it three times and it seems to be just fine and I am thrilled with it maybe somebody just was moving or someone in the family passed away or whatever and I am the lucky person who picked it up and tested it three times it seems to be fine so I'm just tickled with it

      Found one at Goodwill yesterday for 5 bucks. The lever doesn't stay down, hopefully just crumbs in the mechanism 😢

      Call Breville with the serial number. Maybe it’s under warranty. They might send a new one.

    Had bad luck with a Breville blender- the brand is all show IMO and $$$$
    Currently use a commercial 2-slice Hobart made in the USA and a made in Japan Mitsubishi one slice masterpiece of engineering.

      This one is still going strong for us. We use it at least three times a week. It's not really promoted as a commercial toaster - matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen a Breville anything in a commercial establishment, but I for sure have seen Hobart. That's a great brand for sure!

    The lift and look mechanism is not a lever as there is no fulcrum (whatever B

    Does very thin bread fall through to the bottom of the toaster?

    • @ToddSnively
      @ToddSnively 8 месяцев назад

      No, there's no "falling through". The thickness of the bread will not cause you any issues. Now, if the bread is "short", then it's going to be harder to remove once the toasting cycle is finished, even with the lift up feature, but thin won't matter at all.

    Does the toaster ever turn off? I see the lights still on after toast is done.

    • @ToddSnively
      @ToddSnively 10 месяцев назад

      Yes, once the toasting cycle is done, the lights stay on for about 20 seconds and then go off.

    Too bad it's not motorized.

    • @ToddSnively
      @ToddSnively Месяц назад

      By motorized, you mean it would take itself over to where you store your bread and load itself? Or once the toast is done, it would bring it to you? Agreed, one or both would be wonderful upgrades.
