Quantieme complet is not for collectors when you turnover a lot: It s a pain to setup and day and month are very small on the zenith. Annual calendar complication is the one to get. But difficult to find.. "pateck know how". 😊
It's the same pain to set an annual, perpetual or simple calendar if you let the watch run out of power. Only Lange and IWC offer a coordinated solution. The Breitling Datora at least has a moon adjustment through crown by the way which is quite convenient.
I think of the Chronomaster original as a sport oriented watch, less of a dress watch. The gold accents of the triple calendar clashes with this idea - a dressy sports watch. Not a fan. I have the reverse panda chronomaster original and love it.
The complication is nice enough, but the price is getting really steep. It's good to see that luxury brands have adopted the same mentality as HK landlords: it doesn't sell / rent at the asking price, let's put the price up! Because that's really going to work...
Yep, not as nice as yours; overpriced. I can't imagine Zenith will sell much in '24. Like JLC, bumping their prices is going to be the kiss of death to many an AD. VC, JLC, Zenith: still living in the bunga bunga wet dream of '21. All said, when they finally knock out a Chrono Sport with black dial and steel bezel I might be interested. At 30% off. Indeed, Zenith's godawful woke-site is one of the worst. LVMH watch week was weak.
Okay this watch is easily worth around 10k, maybe not what they are asking but if you’ve tried to find a watch like this with similar specs brand new. You would be hard pressed to find anything this good. ESPECIALLY at 38mm. As someone with tiny wrists this is a god send. As things at this level and this size normally cost twice as much.
