i've been having a hell of a time getting my hands on that she-hulk omnibus. it was originally supposed to come out right around the time when they shut everything down because of covid, same with the new printing of the Wolverine omni. some of them must've been shipped before the full shut down, because there are copies on ebay, and amazon that are crazy expensive. they were gone in a blink on IST. hope more are on the way now that shipping schedules seem to be getting back on track. i really loved byrne's she-hulk and ff when i was a kid.
I think at least we may get another shot at the Wolverine reprint again in reviewing the IST listing dates. Comics are starting to get like concert tickets and sneakers nowadays it seems.

The Legion silver age stories are among the best - they are equal to the Lee/Kirby FF and the Lee/Ditko Spider-Man. In fact those three series are the top 3 of the silver age. Following those 3 you have silver age Green Lantern, silver age Avengers, etc

Sensational She Hulk omnibus DM cover is sick. Low stock went out quick still waiting on regular one to arrive. At least I have that issue the DM is based on so win-win in that sense.
I’d say break the cycle on this dc omnis think of all the shelf space you’d gain it don’t matter that you wouldn’t own all omnibus it doesn’t matter just collect what you love and not let the hobby consume your consumerism

Transformers Phase 2 is basically two big story arcs with a bunch of mini series woven in. But it's done a lot better than phase 1 (in my opinion) and I was able to follow the story a lot better. And I noticed a little pause on that page before you closed the book (spoiler alert) 😂 keep up the good work Gem! Much love from Hawai'i
The Golden Age & Silver Age books are valuable as historic documents. They make you appreciate how much the art form has developed and see some of the stepping stones that helped in the evolution. I started reading in 1963 and by the time I graduated in the 1975 second generation writers like Roy Thomas , Cary Bates, Len Wein, Denny O`Neil, Steve Gerber, Don McGregor, Steve Englehart , Jim Starlin & Marv Wolfman made what came before look quaint. When I returned to mainstream comics in 1981 writers like Alan Moore, had pushed the art form even further, now writers who learned from him are taking it to undreamed of levels. What I`m saying is don`t throw out Tchaikovsky for the Beatles . Don`t throw away Louis Armstrong for Miles Davis. Appreciate what came before . There`s still greatness to it. So keep those omnis & appreciate the good in them.

I'm waiting for the hardcover of Kylo Ren, there was one for Phasma and Shattered EMpire and they were both movie comics in the same way this one is so hopefully we'll get on at some point.
Legion of Super-Heroes and Sensation She Hulk Omnibus by John Byrne are the best buys here. 90's Legions titles were the best. Paul Levitz did good. Too bad Bendis crapped on this title, too.
Why the hate for bendis? He was amazing on the Ultimate Spider-Man run. Well, at least until Peter Parker’s Death. But still. I heard he also dumped on Superman. Can you explain ? 😄

No understanding of any characters. Replacing long established characters with new one dimensional characters. Really long, poor; and cringe dialogues....the list is endless. The sales are indicative of the fact. DC is just blind to the fact.
Personally, I really like a lot of the older books especially the silver and golden stuff. Bronze is ok. Some of the titles don't hold up so well especially when it comes to bronze but there is still fun to be had in the much older books. The golden age human torch is great. He has his own omnibus too which I picked up not too long ago. Recommended if you're looking to get into the stories in older books. Anyway, great video!
yea when i first started the channel there was one every week. Seems like the big 2 started publishing a lot of reprints and slowed down on new releases

The John Byrne artwork really does it for the She-Hulk Omni....I've always loved his work....I remember those issues...she had a pretty cool run
