    I'm hoping to get into PPG next year. Seems like a good excuse to get another RC in the meantime.

    Was a paraglider pilot before getting married and grounded. This looks like it is going to be my fourth wing. Night flying is interesting, recently got a Starvis camera, wonder how it will go.

    I recently bought the Hking 2400mm paramotor and it is so much fun!!! and half the price if you want to try a paramotor cheap! Tho this Hacker one is less likely to break on a crash as the Hking one is heavier. (Ive had a few crashes and it was just a matter of bending stuff back and re-ziptying everything)

    Can you guys do more projects. I love all your content but personally I prefer the scratch built projects

    Very cool, but seems rather loud. Is it possible to make it more quiet with a different prop, etc.?

    • @TailHeavyProductions
      @TailHeavyProductions  7 месяцев назад +1

      Still lightyears quieter than any gas/nitro variant. You can only do so much with pusher props.

    have you flown the HobbyKing paramotor and if so how does this compare to that one? I'm looking to get into RC paramotor and not sure which one to start with

    I wish you guys would of made this video sooner. I have had my opale 1.6m split for over a year and a half and was looking for a well made video on RC paramotor. I also have the RC cloud which I purchased a bit after to focus on more aerobatics. Great content keep up the awesome work.

    • @TailHeavyProductions
      @TailHeavyProductions  2 года назад +1

      We don’t fly full scale PPC’s in New England as we don’t have anywhere we can rent one and don’t own one either unfortunately.

    This video came out only three days ago and when I go to order it says you’re sold out. That seems like poor planning. Maybe another day…

      This review was done and paid for by us only (no affiliation with the manufacturer) so product availability on their site was outside of our control. It is in stock in their Europe warehouse which was where we had originally ordered ours. -Zach

    First, it's NOT a "paraglider". A GLIDER does NOT have power. It's a "powered parachute"., Get the definitions right.,

    • @TailHeavyProductions
      @TailHeavyProductions  11 месяцев назад

      I actually teach in full scale light sport powered parachutes (PPC) and can tell you this is indeed a powered paraglider (PPG), not a powered parachute. PPC's have large rectangular wings steered by your feet whereas PPGs have sportier elliptical wings steered by your hands. Both have a motor. One you generally land on wheels, the other is mainly landing on your feet but sometimes has small wheels, optionally. Thanks for watching!

      @@TailHeavyProductions : Doesn't the fact that it has a motor prevent it from being a "glider" since gliders are UNpowered? Kind of like how "drones" are also misnamed these days as a true "drone" operates autonomously with pre-programmed instructions and not directly remotely controlled?
