Could you post the part number? My driver side mirror will move fine and when in reverse, it will tilt downwards, but then when back in drive, it cannot return by itself - makes a whining noise. I can use the buttons to move it back but it will not auto return like the passenger mirror so was thinking it is the actuator itself. Thanks
Hi, there is no part number because you cannot buy the actuator from Lexus separately. However, you can get them used from eBay etc.

Hi Keith, if you are looking for a used part, check car-part.com, they list a lot of auto recyclers on there. For a new part, either a dealership or maybe an aftermarket one if they are available from somewhere.

Hi, I have taken a number of these mirrors apart, but I don’t recall seeing magnets inside of it.
Can you buy just the glass? Is there a part number for the glass?
Normally, you can buy the glass separately. For the part number, it is best to contact the dealership parts department with your VIN. There are different options for the mirror glass: heated, auto dimming, BSM etc, so you want to make sure to get the correct one.
