The mirror glass is normally held on with plastic clips. It should just clip back on with a careful but firm push in the centre of the mirror. Careful not to push at the edges or flex the mirror. Hope that helps, regards Damian

Brilliant going to change mines in the morning. This looks just the way I thought it would be however a mechanic did try to scare me with it’s a big job and don’t come to me once you have messed it up.

Thanks for this. I had a heavy piece of cardboard hit my mirror on the freeway and it popped the mirror glass out.

Is there a way to tighten a wiggly glass?
April, you can't tighten the glass as its simply clipped in. Chances are its either become unclipped or the clip is broken. I would suggest first trying to push the glass back into the clip. Hopefully, this will work, regards Damian

What is the name of the circular piece that clips the glass to the base? I need one for my car but dont know what its called

Can someone please tell me where you can buy just the glass like this? I tried Amazon and Autozone and neither fit and I really don’t wanna replace the whole piece.

That metal clip should have been inside the plastic edge not outside shouldn't it?

How do i disconnect those wires safely. Can't find a video for the life of me. This is the easy part
Joe, The wires shouldn’t be live with the car turned off. The wires have a spade plugs that simply pull off the mirror end. Very simple although might need a good tug. Hope that helps, regards Damian

Did not work for me followed this and other videos-- even followed the instructions that told me to tape the mirror just in case. Just in case happened. Mirror broke and the motor inside.
