    Blackberry and Apple Crumble Recipe
    Ingredients
    2 honey crisp apples, or baking apples
    60 ml / 4 TB water
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    24-30 blackberries, plus a few for decorating (fresh or frozen)
    65 g / 1/2 c all purpose gluten free flour
    2 TB almond flour
    3 TB plant based butter
    50 g / 1/3 c coconut sugar
    35 g / 1/3 c rolled oats
    6 ramekins
    Method
    Preheat the oven to 200 c / 400 F. Peel and core the apples, then cut into small pieces. Put the apples into a saucepan with the water and cinnamon. Heat gently on low for 15 minutes and stir occasionally to cook the apples evenly. Spoon the apples into 6 oven-proof ramekins and top with 4-5 blackberries. You can use fresh or frozen berries, but the baking times may vary.
    Put the gluten free flour and almond flour into a bowl with the butter, coconut sugar and oats. Crumble together with your fingers until the mixture resembles bread crumbs. Sprinkle the mix overtop each ramekin until it is all used.
    Bake on an unlined tray for 20-25 minutes or until golden on top. Let stand at least ten minutes before enjoying as is or dolloped with ice cream or custard.
