The Ultimate Apple Crumble 🍎🥧

let’s bake an apple crumble together👩🏼‍🍳🍏🥧 this is my favourite recipe! the oats & sugar on top make THE most amazing crumble crunch 🤤 save this video to make layer 😋
for the filling
3 medium bramley apples
2 tbsp golden caster sugar
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp ground cinnamon
for the crumble
175g plain flour
100g golden caster sugar
110g cold butter
for the topping
2 tbsp rolled oats
1 tbsp demerara sugar
method
-heat the oven to 190c
-peel, core & thinly chop the apples & toss in sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon, then place in a dish
-in a bowl add the flour & caster sugar, slice in the butter and rub together with your fingers until the mixture looks like moist breadcrumbs
-pour the crumble mix onto the filling & even our with a fork
-sprinkle with the rolled oats & demerara sugar
-pop into a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden & the apples are very soft!
-serve with custard or cream OR ice cream 😋 I hope you enjoy 🍏🥧
