none of the images in this trailer were giving me a liminal vibe. Which as a director im sure you would strive to accomplish a liminal feeling through liminal visuals but I wasnt getting that at all.
This is actually an interesting observation. The original script included a lot more visual references to liminal spaces. Especially as it relates to the painting. Several of those shots/references are still in the film; they just didn't make the trailer. But the title is more metaphorical than literal at this point.
