  • Wondering how to find the best snowboard stance? We are back with another video featuring expert advice for snowboarders getting ready to hit the mountains like there’s no tomorrow.
    SNOWBOARD STANCE WIDTH
The stance width (the distance between your feet) is all about “not too wide” and “not too narrow”. Jacob will give you some useful advice to help you find the sweet spot. Manufacturers supply reference points with each board, but these are not made for you specifically.
3 Ways to Determine the Right Stance Width of Your Snowboard Bindings:
    ► Consider your shoulder width.
► Measure the magical distance from the bottom of your feet to the top of your knees.
► Jump down from a chair and measure the distance between your feet.
    SNOWBOARD BINDING ANGLE
Choosing the right angle for your bindings is a dynamic process. The right binding angle for you will change over time as your riding skills progress and as your riding style changes. Jacob gives us some very useful starting points for finding the right binding angle for beginners, as well as for some of the most popular riding styles. From there on - don’t be afraid to experiment!
Starting Point Recommendations for Snowboard Binding Angles:
► Beginner: 12° positive (front), 9° negative (rear)
► Freestyle: 15° positive (front), 15° negative (rear)
► Powder: 15° positive (front), 0° negative (rear)
► Carving: 18° positive (front), 6° positive (rear)
Get ready to enjoy the ultimate time in the snow by following our expert advice on how to place your snowboard bindings. Kick back, relax and enjoy! What's next? Well, on to the slopes!

Thank you for the help, this makes it a bit more clear that it’s more of a personal preference versus a standard for all!

    hello,
if you measure from a botton of your feet and to top of your knee, you need to be barefoot or better with shoes or boots?
    regards
    Rok

No shoes is best. Some people also use their shoulder width. That's basically the same measurement.
