Excellent link share, now I have even more stuff that I absolutely, categorically, definitely NEED to buy!!! 😁 And it's all Fish Locker approved, what more could anyone want!?
Good on you for taking a little sponsorship, sounders have come on so much that it would be great to have someone like you really show us around them . And before people moan, its not cheating. We have been finding fish like this for years, it's just now we mere mortals can read the screen a bit better . Still got to find them and catch them, its a huge sea out there !!
Garmin clearly did their research, knew exactly what you were interested in and used the perfect lure. They've made a very lucky catch with you. Congrats, you deserve all your success.
Telling you how to hold a fish is like telling Van Gogh how to paint. Great video and congratulations on the Garmin sponsorhip. Your videos are always entertaining and educational.
You've sold out John - well done, congrats and enjoy all the gifts..... it's been a pleasure helping you get there John. Its also great to hear that Garmin don't want to change anything but instead help you, help us. A caring touch :).
Once again hard work and dedication have been rewrded , but the jealous little people have a dig ignore the haters and their petty jealosy ,think they are trying to make up for inadequacies in their own fishing or other parts of their lives
What impresses me most about that sounder is that you see that fairly detailed image on a day when the boat is rocking around quite a bit. I've seen videos of anglers in the USA using them for ice fishing and when sounder is fixed in position, the detail is astonishing. You can see the fishes' tails moving. Amazing and worrying at the same time. In the wrong hands the fish have no chance.
What makes your videos so interesting, and so watchable, is that like so many “hunters”, your love of your target, (in your case fish), your interest in their lives and their environment on a real and practical level makes you as much scientist, as a fisherman. I really love your enthusiasm, your humour and deep knowledge as well as the excitement of what you catch. The difference between you and me is that I cannot get excited with a wrasse when i want to get a BASS !!.
Fascinating and a perfect way to demonstrate the Garmin- I really enjoyed the explanation of your lure dropping, the fish being retrieved and followed by the shoal. Great work and well done Garmin for spotting the best way to advertise its products.
Pleased that Garmin have teamed up with you. When I first saw them last year explaining the set up I said pity they don't set you up to trial this system. Some amazing fish mate and another very enjoyable nights viewing. Thanks👍
Eh up John, have to thank you for all the knowledge you have imparted to me about fishing, as before you and no one else I knew absolutely squat and now I can real off species, as if I was a Cornish Fisherman, God Bless 'Em.
Totally agree the cuckoo wrasse definitely best looking fish in our waters , congratulations for earning the ambassadorship deserved , but to be fair the only thing i knew what you were talking about was the transom on the boat only because i know how strong they have to be . As usual another day at school 😊 genuinely pleased for you.
Well done, John, looks like a nice bit of kit. It'll be good to see some larger fish showing on the screen. I've bought a whole batch of those lures and they have worked well. Best thing is that you can change hook size and the fish can't bite the bloody tails off of them like some of the plastics.
Great video, plenty of fish, different species being caught!, your enthusiasm and motivation, and explaining the different rigs, baits etc, is second to none, the fish finder is outstanding, very interesting watch John. 🎣🍻👍. Mark.
Superb stuff as always John, congratulations on the sponsorship/ambassador, its well deserved, and well done Garmin for not wanting to be messing around with the channel dictating a certain amount of adverts put all over the content, has ruined many a good channel, they have some truly amazing technology at Garmin. those mackies would have gone straight in the sweet tin smoker if id have caught them, they are wonderful food. those Dolphins were a bit special, never tire of seeing them but to get Bottlenosed is amazing, this was a great watch, really enjoyable half hour, thanks for sharing this with us all mate
