Well that was a Brilliant video Stuart. A bit of everything, some sadness at how James was treated in the past, but so good now to hear him speak and a brilliant sense of humour. Think it will take me a while to forget "taking the bath panel off" so funny 😂 So wish we had a Knit and Natter like yours Stuart, beautiful crafts being done there.
I started knitting when I had my eldest daughter, and knitted for each of my children, of the Mattinee Coat era (70's) and until my youngest Son was around 7. Shell Suit years and no I don't want a knitted jumper Mum. Sweatshirts took over and for a long long time gave up knitting. Then sadly 10 years ago, my youngest Son passed away suddenly and unexpected 😢 and knitting was my happy place. Helped me through all the years on and off. Only in the last few years I have started to knit myself small items in the Autumn/Winter months. And now I have found your brilliant videos Stuart, and John too will help to keep me in my happy place. Thank you Stuart. 😊🧶

Thank you so much for sharing this! I can’t believe nobody has asked about details for that gorgeous pink jumper! It’s great to knit but a benefit if you love what you’re knitting and that would do it for me!

Oh, thanks, you two, for doing this reminder of a fabulous day - James’s story had such an impact, he’s a grand story teller, and the way his problems were resolved was wonderful. Three cheers for James and the lovely Dr. Thomas - I could have listened to his dulcet tones all day long, so maybe he could release a CD of his relaxing mindfulness exercise??!! Just a thought!! Jen xx❤️❤️

Hi, really enjoyed watching this lovely podcast. Also I love the Aran sweater that you are wearing? Did you make it yourself? What pattern is it and what yarn did you use ? Thanks ❤

thanks Caroline. OOoo I'll ask Áine when I see her this Saturday. I recall it being a bought one however, not hand knitted, I'll come back to you if that was different.
