hello, the video was very helpful. I have a general question, I have got my degree evaluated by WES. Will that not work when registering for the INBDE exam??
Thank you Doc for sharing an insightful video about going through ECE evaluation. Just wanted to clear a doubt. To applying for dental hygienist licensure in Florida as a foreign trained dentist ,the criteria mentioned is an Subject Analysis Evaluation report. So how is it different from the course by course report explained in the video
These reports are different. While the Subject Analysis Evaluation report may work for the hygiene, it may not work for other purposes. Check with the Florida Dental Board if they accept the course-by-course for hygiene as well. I don't think it is possible, but still, check with them. I think the Subject Analysis Report is required.
Can i do this as a student that hasnt finished BDS yet? Like for example im a 5th year dental student and i have internship next year, can i get my ece evaluated at the end of my 5th year so i can take my inbde in internship year
You can take your INBDE during school so far as I know, after you finish 50% of your programZ the rules are slightly different . My recommendation is to do when school is over. I have never met anyone who did while in school.
@DentalAcademyUSA it's just that I want to get it done as soon as possible in my internship so I can apply to universities while im in my internship, do you think that's a good move?
@@nemarfizzcan1166 I don't think you can apply to dental schools while you are in still a student school. You can apply for the INBDE, but that is it. In order to apply to dental schools you need your diploma. There may be an exception out there, but I would not count on it.
Hey! It was a really helpful video but I have a doubt ,I'm from INDIA completed my bachelors and masters and wanted to go for INBDE EXAM ,so do I need to send original document or transcripts to the ECE that too can I send it directly or my respective universities shall need to send to ECE address in USA from INDIA
I’m glad to hear that! You have to read the specific rules for India. Each country has different rules. In Brazil, the universities don’t have to send anything, the applicant sends everything. However, the universities can send if the applicant wants to. Please check the specific rules that apply to India.
The country I was from didn't provide the Transcript / grade report in a sealed envelope, but ECE required it from my origin country. How do I get this if I live in the United States? Note: I have an official Transcript report but just not in a seal envelope.
@@DentalAcademyUSA Thanks for your response. But the required documents for the country I was from state that the "Official Document issued in a Sealed Envelope" is required, while Brazil only needs the original.
@@sophornwilliams7564 If that's what they say, then you got to follow their requirements, unfortunately. I would still contact them to check about your specific situation.

Thank you very much

Is this evaluation applicable to all courses?
No, there are a few courses that will not accept ECE, but they are rare. I would say that 95% of courses will accept ECE.
@@DentalAcademyUSA thank you for the response

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Very little schools accept WES exclusively, so I don't focus on it much.

@@sophiajohnson6621 I edited my answer, please see the changes. It seems like the Subject Analysis is a requirement. You still should check with them.
Hello, do I need the ECE evaluation as a foreign trained dentist going for the NBDHE exam?
And if I do need it, which report type exactly should I order?
So far as I know, yes you do.
@@ananraed2877 I would always request the course-by-course, as you can use it later for other things.
My degree says "Medico Estomatologo" what should i put? my country has like 3 degrees for dentist lol
Figure out the translation for it an put it there!
O que seria transcript? Histórico escolar?
Correto! Transcript significa histórico escolar.

It does not need to be on a sealed envelope. All you need it is to be original and signed/stamped.
