ECE was one of the confusing things during application process especially because the College was supposed to send the UNOFFICIAL college transcripts to the university. After that the university was supposed to send them ( university original OFFICIAL sealed transcripts) to ECE. God knows how many times I had to call my dental college office and then the University to get mine done sooner! What was your experience? It all depends on the COUNTRY dependent documents they ask for. Most often you cannot send the scanned copies. ECE needs to be sent the official documents =sealed transcripts from the University. Your school sends the unofficial transcript to the university. Your university can use the world wide transcript portal if it is mentioned in your country specific documents section on the form.

You need to contact the university and your dental school both. It's impossible that they will not send it. Let them know appropriately what is needed for the ECE.

Atleast write the approximate start date. Most people do remember the starting month of the year they started dental school and graduated the dental school as the ending date. Many people check-in on Facebook or other websites when they start some program.. Find out either way :)

Hey @Navjot Lail, Most dental universities need ECE in the US. Whichever universities you are interested in please check their websites to see if they accept WES and accordingly take your steps. If they don't specify then , you may try to contact them and ask specifically or take the ECE reports as well.
Official sealed transcripts by the university only are needed. Which can be received at your home . These plus all Other documents can be sent together in a huge envelope on your own to ECE.

I am unaware if international teachers need ECE evaluation. But you do have to give a few tests before working. Please contact the specific state regulatory bodies/universities/schools for your details regarding ECE. Your university sends the dental university sealed transcripts to ECE or if you received it then you may send it to ECE without opening the university seal along with your other original documents in one common big envelope. Ans ii. All your original documents are sent back to you after evaluation in perfect condition. Me and all of my friends who have done it so far have experienced the same. Yes. ECE returns your original. But you need official university transcripts sealed/stamped by the university. Opened transcripts will not be accepted by ECE

Hey Lavanya Pragada, once you have finished adding your BDS details, save it as shown in the video then go on the same page ( not edit the BDS info but a new one ) and start for MDS with graduated , from India , with the different dates and so on. Finally it should show both your UG as well as PG on the right side as your educational history.

All original documents as mentioned in the video plus sealed transcripts from your University are needed. Your dental college will send it to the university and the university will send sealed transcripts to ECE. Unless you have them send it to you and you send it all together to ECE.
@@rajvnk8950 Some schools do accept WES. But most commonly they need ECE in US. You will have to confirm with each school website before you apply to them on CAAPID.

Unless it is mentioned in your home country specific DOCUMENTS NEEDED section in your ECE application as shown in the video, please recheck everything before you follow certain things heard/said as this might make you spend more time in the process. Unless mentioned by ECE it's not acceptable.

Yes you could. But then you would have two different addresses as your personal addresses. Make sure there is no conflict so the documents you need to be sent back to your home don't get misplaced.

I need some more information regarding what course you are applying for inorder to answer your questions correctly in detail.. However usually once you get evaluation done for your first course/program you are applying for or company that should be fine. Unless the specific state you are moving to later on has certain licensure requirements or your specific company says so.

Provisional certificate is when you are still doing your internship saying you are still in school. This can be from the dean or registrar INBDE certificate of eligibility is a letter from the dean saying you have completed all the required courses/classes needed to be eligible for the exam. Its has to be in a format. Please check this in the beginning of the video for explaination 😊👍

In your country specific documents page on the ECE website, if they ask for high school study history then yes please provide it. Most often it is better to give more than less.

Fill in name as per passport be t also add middle name as it appears on the certificates in the name difference area. Write like normally we do Frist Middle last name in that part.

Hey @Jyoti Joshi, I think it should work because the transcripts are never going to change. Degree certificates need to be original as well. Frankly I would recommend you to create an ECE account and contact them individually if they need new transcripts through your account for exact response. I have not encountered anyone sending stuff which has been more than 5yrs so far. So I am not completely aware of this part. In the institution area add CAAPID for sending it to them electronically.

I am unaware if international teachers need ECE evaluation. But you do have to give a few tests before working. Please contact the specific state regulatory bodies/universities/schools for your details regarding ECE.

If I get a certificate they are asking HS evaluation certificate. So I have to choose general or general with GPA? And I have submit HS certificate or my degree certificate for evaluation?

Ans i. Your university sends the dental university sealed transcripts to ECE or if you received it then you may send it to ECE without opening the university seal along with your other original documents in one common big envelope.
Ans ii. All your original documents are sent back to you after evaluation in perfect condition. Me and all of my friends who have done it so far have experienced the same. Just make sure your address is mentioned appropriately. Good luck with everything my friend. 🙂

If you have sealed transcript document received from your university, even if long time ago, still sealed then you send.

Yes. ECE returns your original. But you need official university transcripts sealed/stamped by the university. Opened transcripts will not be accepted by ECE

It's country dependent documents. So the website says that in general but when you open stuff for India it should specify sealed transcripts as well.

Hey Lavanya Pragada, once you have finished adding your BDS details, save it as shown in the video then go on the same page ( not edit the BDS info but a new one ) and start for MDS with graduated , from India , with the different dates and so on. Finally it should show both your UG as well as PG on the right side as your educational history.

All original documents as mentioned in the video plus sealed transcripts from your University are needed. Your dental college will send it to the university and the university will send sealed transcripts to ECE. Unless you have them send it to you and you send it all together to ECE.

@@rajvnk8950 Some schools do accept WES. But most commonly they need ECE in US. You will have to confirm with each school website before you apply to them on CAAPID.

Nope @Majid Ghaleb. Unless it is mentioned in your home country specific DOCUMENTS NEEDED section in your ECE application as shown in the video, please recheck everything before you follow certain things heard/said as this might make you spend more time in the process. Unless mentioned by ECE it's not acceptable.

Hi @atiya khan , please check the exact documents based on your country first. Sealed Transcripts are needed from the university for most countries or if they are able to electronically send to ECE that might be ok as well.

If the US immigration for your country specifies they will accept credentials evaluation from WES then it should be acceptable.

Most dental colleges accept ECE. So go for ECE.

Yes. They maintain your records so you can place an order for the reports to be sent electronically to schools directly from ECE.

Yes you could. But then you would have two different addresses as your personal addresses. Make sure there is no conflict so the documents you need to be sent back to your home don't get misplaced.

While sending documents yes you will need a document which states you have cleared 12th std (high school) with the grade/points mentioned (Higher secondary certificate examination report= high school diploma).

Contact Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) and request a General Report. The ECE evaluation
report request will describe what documents are required, the manner in which to submit them to ECE,
and the applicable fee. To request an evaluation report, visit www.ece.org, select Start Your Evaluation
Request, and request a General Report be sent to the ADAT Program.
2. Only official reports electronically transmitted from ECE Inc. to the ADAT Program will be accepted and more. Please check the details.

Send as per your country specific needs. If they accept true copy certificates, from your country then you can send it electronically too. Please verify with ECE by contacting them personally

I need some more information regarding what course you are applying for inorder to answer your questions correctly in detail.. However usually once you get evaluation done for your first course/program you are applying for or company that should be fine. Unless the specific state you are moving to later on has certain licensure requirements or your specific company says so.

Provisional certificate is when you are still doing your internship saying you are still in school. This can be from the dean or registrar
INBDE certificate of eligibility is a letter from the dean saying you have completed all the required courses/classes needed to be eligible for the exam. Its has to be in a format. Please check this in the beginning of the video for explaination 😊👍

In your country specific documents page on the ECE website, if they ask for high school study history then yes please provide it. Most often it is better to give more than less.

Fill in name as per passport be t also add middle name as it appears on the certificates in the name difference area. Write like normally we do Frist Middle last name in that part.

Student. Unless you finish your 4yrs + internship you will not be granted a degree.

Hey @Jyoti Joshi, I think it should work because the transcripts are never going to change. Degree certificates need to be original as well. Frankly I would recommend you to create an ECE account and contact them individually if they need new transcripts through your account for exact response. I have not encountered anyone sending stuff which has been more than 5yrs so far. So I am not completely aware of this part.
In the institution area add CAAPID for sending it to them electronically.
