I used to give my husband a massage almost every night. He actually started to feel guilty about it and I told him not to because it had become part of our nightly routine. He had terrible back problems and he couldn’t sleep without some kind of pain relief. Medication only helped so much.
I lost him to cancer 5 years ago and I’m so glad that I did what was in my power to help him even a little bit.

@@sparkyspark964 but you did what you could. The human touch can heal the spirit and give comfort when nothing else can. Sometimes what we consider small things are everything to someone else. When he needed you most you were there. Your words of reassurance were important to him, too. I'm a woman of faith and I see your actions and attitude toward your husband as saintly things.
He was blessed and so were you.
Bless you. My husband gives me a massage every morning. We have had some troubles in our 34 year marriage, and this is one of the things that has held it together. I used to have horrible pains in my back before having a hysterectomy, but he has continued the massages. I really really appreciate him for this. More than I can say. I bet your hubby felt the same. ❤

Mr. Gaffigan is very talented. Besides making you laugh, to me, a good comedian also makes us question things we've always taken for granted about in life, like the masseuse bit. Also, Mr. Gaffigan's voice changes are what really set him apart from other comedians.

jim gaffigan has been my favorite comedian for like 6 years. i’ve listened to all of his specials probably five times each (barring the more recent ones). i can hear the same bit a hundred times and still laugh out loud.

Just discovering Jim. I like the fact he tells jokes. A comedians downfall in my opinion is when they focus on social commentary instead of comedy.

I love all kinda of comedy and generally dirtier comedy is funnier to me..... but Jim is the funniest stand up comedian there is for me. It really is shocking to me his clean style rises above all but it does. Love him

Have you actually seen his specials or are you just watching clips? He's not a "clean" comedian, by any means. His act just doesn't RELY on curse words, even though he uses them quite often. He says "whore" and other curse words in just this video. lol
What does "clean" mean?
I watched this special recently on a Delta airlines flight, and the lady next to me absolutely hated me because I could not stop laughing
My ancestry showed us in the Czech Republic 4 generations back. My cousin was told by Czech scientists our last name means "squint" makes sense, we're all near sighted. Lol
