Love, love, LOVE this entire realization. Having listened to it a number of times, of it's many sterling virtues, Schiff's flexibility of phrasing, without losing the forward thrust, is what speaks to me most. Every phrase has shape, and breathes. I also love his balancing of sonorities, a tricky thing in this work. This has all the same virtues as Schiff's realizations of the piano music. Thank you.
Never thought Schiff will conduct this piece! Wonderful to have this rendition!

This performance touches to my soul
This is awesome. I saw Schiff just last week in LA, where he referenced this performance and likened the mass to schubert’s 17th piano sonata. It’s great to be able to see it. With you and SW, the growing plethora of Schiff performances is great. My thanks
