Also these guys work as a crew and you take yourself out and you take the whole company out of action, because they can't work without you. Now they have to call another company to take the place of yours because you decided to run on the scene. Actual FDNY explanation.
@TheHickupp it is an emergency your right.. but the more breath you waste on speed walking/running the more oxygen you will use up. you only have 45 mins of oxygen. even less depense on how heavy you breath.
I am a firefighter from LA and am coming to NY this summer. I was hoping to get a ride along in while I was there. Where would be my best bet to try and ride out at? Any help would be appreciated.
