A friend back in elementary school had an air hockey table. We were playing pretty aggressively and the puck bounced off of my hand straight into my mouth. I was bleeding, but thankfully it didn't knock my teeth out, so those side railings are just decoration.

I discovered this channel when searching for How It's Made on youtube, since I watched the show as a kid and was fascinated by the machines. Gotta say, I was tricked good and now this channel is a regular treat because it showcases exactly what im thinking while watching the show.
