It makes me emotional to see in people's comments that there are still people who listen to Enigma. My childhood comes to mind. I think Enigma is of higher quality than most of the music produced today. While listening to Enigma, my soul feels like it's in a different universe. It is impossible to explain these feelings. But I always wonder if there is anyone out there who feels the same. :)
Nice to hear Enigma again. I’ve listened to them for many years. I’ve got many of their albums, I’m partial to their first two releases and their post 2000 albums as well. Another band that I know you’d love is ERA. Their first self titled album ERA from 1996 has a single “Ameno” that has Gregorian chants and a style that I think you would enjoy. Their second album was released in 2000, so you only have one album to work with. Lol
Greetings from Miami, Brandon! Gravity of Love was the first Enigma song I remember hearing. I felt drawn in by the “mysteriousness” of the song. I never get tired of hearing this song. It is beautiful.
-Gravity of love using Led zeppelin's when the levee breaks iconic drum beat -Prism of life using: 2 unlimited's - Shelter on a rainy day drum beat Gregorian chants from Charles Jauquier - In paradisum album African vocal phrases "Oh mae om" from spectrasonics "Heart of Africa" sample CD R&B vocal phrases "Nah nah nah naah ohhh" from spectrasonics "Vocal planet" sample CD Such a perfect blend of many cultures and musical genres : )
Gravity of Love has always led off any Enigma or similar-themed playlist I create. It's THE prototypical example of that style of music to me. Her voice spine-tingles me even now.
Le Roi Est Mort - Vivre Le Roi! This album helped me get out of a deep hole of depression and self destructive behavior, back in 1997. It's very emotional for me. I still cry when I hear it. Tears of gratitude. I'd probably be dead now if this album didn't inspire me to jump out of that hole.
I've loved Enigma since 1994 when the 2nd album came out but I was familiar with Sadeness before that. Their music really helped through my early teens and into young adulthood so I cherish their music even into my 40s. I re-listen to them often as they tend to mean different things at different points in one's life. Anyway, cheers and cool reactions. You should definitely check out Age of Loneliness and Beyond The Invisible next if you have not listened to them already. 😎
Those who like ENIGMA's production will not be indifferent to that of ERA, a musical project (Gregorian chants, pop, rock, electro with lyrics made from a language imagined by the composer and resembling Latin phonetics) by French composer Éric Lévi. Some suggestions from the '90s: "Ameno", "Misere Mani", "Enae Volare Mezzo", "Avemano Orchestral". Thanks.
Little bit of a Tears For Fears vibe, especially with Gravity Of Love( the intro has a slight similarity to the intro of the TFF song " Listen "). Good.
Power and spiritual forces of life summoned through this reverent and timeless music... Thanks for watching! 🥰

Great review! Yes, Michael Cretu himself sings in the middle of the song (in Prism of Life)

F1 this weekend, so pole for Jorge ;), pretty nice songs, Prism is incredibly beautiful and with wonderful vocals, as usual for this band.
Woohoo!! 🥇 Did I shock you with such an early release time? 😁
Just a reminder, GTR (Hackett-Howe) "The Hunter" & "Sketches in the Sun" & "Toe the Line", one better than the other and all 3, for 5 GRA.
@@retroreactions.... Yes!! human time, not Californian time 😂🤣, when you are having breakfast ☕🥐, we... the rest of the world, are already sleeping

Gern geschehen, mein Freund, danke fürs Zuschauen! 😊
You have done a great job of breaking down the song.
Thank you!

I string 5 of their albums and listen on long plane flights, long drives and best of all a long massage. My masseuse loves them too😁
If you love this kind of music you'll love Mike Oldfield's The Songs Of Distant Earth.
Gregorian first album "saddisfaction" is another good option.
