Finally! This was awesome, would love to see this in all the major sports. Would it kill these guys to show a little personality and authenticity, some original thoughts? They don't because of the 24/7 coverage and the internet trolls would try to ruin them, so I get why they play it safe, but wouldn't it be nice if they were candid!
Well most of these are between intermissions when all they want to do is rest and probably talk to their teammates and coaches about the game. I don't blame them for giving quick cliche answers.
@@michaeloconnor5904 yea hes a scum bag for lying but its good hes on Toronto, maybe they can actually do something in the playoffs besides be hyped up by the media then lose in the first round, good luck this year

Just gotta bear down. Stick to the game plan. Give it 110%. Create plays. Get some bounces. Go hard. Got back on our heels. Put that period behind us. Push the tempo. Worry about the next shift. Keep intensity high. Hard on the puck. Good sticks.
We talk a lot about hearing the same ‘Hockey player answers’ over and over but what about the repetitive nature of ‘Hockey media questions’? Hockey players actually have a ton of personality in my experience, they just need someone who knows how not to ask the same five questions over and over (ie: Cabbie, 31 Thoughts podcast, etc)
wow this is ridiculous :D One person in the entire NHL was in charge of interview bullet points. Written on flip chart with a whiteboard pen. Taped on VHS 25 years ago. Forcefully shown every media staffer in the league. I'll have to watch Bryzgalov about 15 times in a row just to get my sanity back. Wai jo chaf tu bi mad xD
I think, Sportsnet channel have a great team, cause they are playing their own system and do it hard way full sixty minutes... and, obviously, gets the puck deep
I always wait for intermission interviews to guess what a player will say when whoever gives the typical "we saw blank using their speed, how will you adapt next period" Some times i get them right. Its really just a guess from what you just saw.
Unfair to string them up, but thanks for the laughs. Great guys, though, and there is only so much you can really say-and it's a team sport. Are there any mavericks who come up with really off the wall comments? Weird comments might make a good video, but are there enough really Outside comments to string together?
The person that put this video together gave it 110%
They definitely put pucks in DEEP.
for the "full 2 minutes"
Can you believe all this footage was just from one saturday night?
@ CJ Johnson Underrated comment!
Best thing i’ve seen in a while

jackal hill it is quite an honour.
Mandatory 15 umms per sentence
The person who put this together definitely took more than 20 minutes, went in deep and hard to make us laugh. Awesome!!!!
And he put pucks in deep
Simple, 60 min, stick our game, get pucks deep, battle, they got a good team, (nickname) is doing good, skatin well. Thanks.
I came here from Pro Hockey Media Relations 101. Jared Keeso nailed it
Wondering how many people came from Letterkenny
Get pucks deep, get pucks in the net, and...uhhhhhhhhhh...
......
....win some games.
The comedy series Letterkenny did this with Shoresey and Reilly and it w almost identical to this absolutely hilarious.
Like I said score more goals than the other team...
😂lmfao great video🔥 Get them Pucks Deep boys..like you said💯🔥💯

Hockey players essentially all have the exact same vocabulary. "I mean" "Puck deep" "Keep it simple" "Playing our game"
"Obviously"

lill-nyllet probably not so easy in front of a camera with thousands of people watching
This interviews are much more fun to watch when you don't care about them telling you anything :)
It's almost as if these player interviews are virtually useless.
They are useless, and everyone knows it.
Can't blame the players for it. It's dumb to expect interviews after every game.
LOL Too funny! just thinking to myself, interviews haven't changed much since I started hockey back in the late 70's...Good Stuff!!!
That's why I have never watched these interviews...i find them useless...
Same here. Even though it's almost funny how pointless they are. No one says anything interesting in these things ever
Agreed. I can.t stand it sometimes of how repetitive it is. They always say uummm a lot to figure out what bs they can come up with.
Wait, this isn't an episode of letterkenny?
Lmao Hutton said all the cliches in one sentence at the end.
Like I said, this video, keeps it simple, gets in deep, and capitalises on chances. good job!

Putting all the NHL teams on blast. Lol
Lol put the whole sport on blast..
I didn’t see the Sabres or the Ducks there.
Are the sabers realy there to begin with. They can't get the puck in deep.
Who ever running your YT channel is killing it. Pay them more.
Battle hard with our battles.
Lost a couple brain cells from this one
just keep it simple
Like I said, just put the puck deep
Lmao big facts
Yeah... we really have to simplify
Get pucks deep, get pucks in the net, win some hockey games.
Four lines banging, that's what it takes. You got to go to the dirty areas. Get pucks deep, get pucks in the net.
"I heard you once attended an all-male sex dungeon?"
I watched Letterkenny & the hockey media parodies & learned all this, & This just showed me that ultimately Jared Keeso is a genius lol
Next volume should be "obviously". Seriously pay attention to home many time a player says "obviously" in an interview
Matthew Cassar or “for sure”
Yeah baby, last guy got´em all in 5 seconds. Pure gold! You know what´s missing though: the "obviously"-compilation!
Longest 2 and half minutes of my life.

That was a good episode of letterkenny.
Hillarious compilation. Stock answers = wins

WOW. Fantastic mashup. Hockey players on that hive mind!
Jeez I can’t wait to make it so I can bring something new to these interviews
This is the best video on the internet 😁
Just gotta keep doing the hockey and if we hockey hard enough, that's good hockey
And I wouldn't be surprised if this all came from a single Saturday night.
How do you make a video like this without Babcock lol
walking PR firms! 😂😂
New season of Letterkenny looks pretty good.
Oh boy, this made my day!
Keep it simple Media class 101😂🍻

you guys should do those cliche lines the players always throw out, like: you can take a horse to the water, but you can’t make him drink.. ect.
also a compilation of “uh”s.. lol
